could capture the story of my wedding day in their work. One of the biggest appeals to me was that many of the photographers in the SoCal area work for a company. You may talk to a rep for the company on what you "envision" for your wedding photos, but you don't meet the actual photographer until the day of your wedding. With Sage, we spoke DIRECTLY with UNLIMITED phone calls and emails to make sure he knew exactly what I envisioned for my Pakistani destination wedding in San Diego. He made me feel so comfortable, and from the beginning I knew I picked the right photographer. Sage is more than a photographer. He is an artist. He is passionate about his work. He is also a perfectionist. He will not deliver a photo, if he himself is not proud of it. He edited every single photo he took that day and turned it into artwork. He captured the story of my day. In addition, weddings can be stressful and unpredictable. You want to make sure when planning, that you are working with vendors who are understanding, flexible, friendly, cooperative, etc. Four weeks prior to my wedding, I had a family emergency and was unsure until about 14 days prior to the wedding date, if the event would continue as planned. Sage was so understanding and flexible through the process. This quality in a wedding vendor is SO IMPORTANT. I am so grateful to Sage for being so patient with all the wedding preps and unexpected bumps in the road. He was truly a joy to work with. The day of my wedding, so many of my guests commented on how good Sage was! He was so professional. Our wedding party alone consisted of 100 people...and Sage never seemed overwhelmed. He worked diligently for 10 hours straight on my wedding day. He captured all 200 of my wedding guests. My recommendation to every bride, is to make sure you get a good photographer. You will want your day captured well. And I could not recommend Sage more.

vous bringing a photographer to Mexico for our destination wedding - but lucky for us, we picked the best man for the job. Sage was SO easy to work with. He's trustworthy, punctual, communicative, reliable and is a man of his word. Sage was booked to arrive in Cabo the day before our wedding. The morning of his flight, the airline system went down and Sage was unable to make the flight due to circumstances beyond his control. Did he call me? NO. Did he reach out to me to figure out how to get to Mexico? NO. Why not? Because he figured it out and did not want to stress me out in any way shape or form. He still arrived as scheduled, a day before the wedding. Sage flew to Cabo a day before our wedding and scoped out the grounds to find picture-perfect spots. He was so proactive - doing everything he could to make sure our pictures would be stunning come wedding day. Each and every one of his photos was exquisite. He guided us both through the photos. We hate posing and are not the best at it..at all. I openly told Sage to coach us and tell us what to do - and he was very open to doing so because had we not listened to him, our photos would have been so awkward!! He was SO FUN to work with. Based off of the photos and the amount of ground he covered, I would have assumed he had a team of 2-3 guys. Nope- he worked alone and I was beyond impressed and thrilled that he fully captured EVERY aspect of the entire event, from close-up images of flowers to every angle of the ceremony to shots from the middle of the dance floor - he did all this without "being in the way". I am still so blown away that he captured so many photos of us throughout the night when I didn't really see him...he was there without being there. Absolutely incredible. There aren't enough words to describe how thankful we were to have Sage capture the most important day of our lives. He is a true artist, has an eye and creative mind to capture the perfect photo- he's a complete natural. Highly recommend.

s in advance. We called Sage the night before our wedding. I am dead serious. Luckily he was available and willing to go with the flow. Meeting Sage moments before our first look was pretty atypical, but I am positive when I say that there was nobody that could have been more professional and kind at the other side of the lens. Not having an engagement shoot or any prior meeting can often be a disadvantage, as the photographer doesn't know you. You don't know how to pose or act natural in front of the camera. Believe me, this is not something that comes easy to everyone. But Sage really did a great job with what he has to work with (us). He was so easy to work with and captured the joy and honest laughter throughout the night with a smile and ease. There aren't many professional photographers out there that just go with the flow anymore. Many take themselves way to seriously or think they are the best thing since sliced bread (I myself work in a creative industry and have seen this FAR too many times). Sage was extremely pleasant and humble and we were overjoyed with the final photographs. Couldn't have made a better decision the night before our wedding. :)

eferred (my husband didn’t want our images yellow like what’s kind of trendy right now and I wanted lots of color because we were getting married in a botanical garden). What initially drew us to Sage’s photography was the color in his photos and the camera tricks he does. Sage photographed my wedding late last year and him and his second shooter (Josh) were one of the best vendor choices we could have made. They went above and beyond throughout the entire day (Sage even brought an accident kit just in case anyone wanted gum or needed to sew something, which was totally unexpected), even going so far as to lay in some dirty wet grass to get a certain angle. This was all great and all... but the one thing I remember was how comfortable Sage made us feel. He was kind, yet blunt at the same time. He told me exactly how to pose, helped keep me relaxed and calm when our timeline was running behind (and then helped get us caught back up so we didn’t have to pay any vendors overtime!), and gave us a big bear hug before departing. We 100% recommend Justice Photography!!!!

(photography-wise haha). I looked at pictures of complete strangers and thought, "I want THAT on MY wall." Sage took our engagement and wedding photos and he is incredibly easy to work with -- he is easy going and does whatever he can to make you feel comfortable and fabulous, and it shows in the pictures. Our family and friends made so many comments about how friendly Sage was and how much respect they had for him for doing whatever it takes to get the shot: sliding on the grass, bending backwards, full on lunge, you name it. Bonus: After working with Sage, my husband and I feel like we know how to (kind of) pose ourselves for 'gram worthy pictures. On more than one occasion (okay, hella times, especially during our honeymoon), we've said "do what Sage said" or posed ourselves like Sage did. He sent us sneak peeks so quickly (for engagement and wedding photos), and I found myself emotional after looking at them. It transported me back to my wedding day, and my husband and I were gushing over EVERY. SINGLE. PICTURE. (And we haven't even got the full set yet!) I'll admit it...I was holding back tears, as I repeatedly scrolled through each picture. Are you sold yet? Because Sage is 100% worth it, but in case you need a few more reasons: +He is very easy to get in touch with via email or text and responds quickly (I think he always got back to me within a couple hours via email if not sooner) +You'll have bajillion new and different screen savers for your phone lock screen and home screen (and desktop and email and coffee table...you get the picture, pun intended) +On the wedding day, Sage is calm and makes the most of every minute he is working to get the best photos possible +My husband said he loves "everything" about him, and that "he's the complete package." Sounds weird, but so accurate. We LOVED working with Sage and hope to work with him again. Honestly, I've already decided I want him to take my future babies pictures.

the end, was seamless, fast and professional. We also had our toddler with us. He makes you feel at ease straight away. He is kind and confident, and has everything under control. He offered to drive us around Palm Springs, to some really cool places, (which he researched) These photos are my favorite, which everyone always compliments us on. moments. Sage is not just a wedding photographer, he truly is an artist. Also, he is a delight to work with. To start, he was super responsive to emails. In my opinion, that is the first indication of a professional when searching for vendors. Next, we scheduled a face-time meeting and he stressed how important it is to find a photographer you gel with – and we all clicked immediately. Sage shot our engagement shoot which was such a treat. It was so nice to work together before the big day and he was such a goofball to help us honestly smile in photos. Being professionally photographed can be a little intimidating if you haven’t done it before but he made us feel completely comfortable. After seeing how the engagement photos turned out, we knew we could count on him to make the wedding photos spectacular. Which was such a stress-relief because we trusted him implicitly. And when you see him basically scaling walls, sprinting from one side of the room to the other, or telling you to shoot a confetti canon straight at his face – you know he is doing everything he can to get the best shot. You can tell that he loves what he does, and that comes through in his work ethic and photographs. I have already personally recommended Sage to every bride I know and I would hire him again in a heartbeat!

He is passionate about his work and delicately balances both art and science in his craft. He is also unbelievably committed to getting each shot he envisions. During the ceremony he was leaning up against bushes, squatting down, and running from the altar to the grass -- to ensure he perfectly captured each moment. During the reception, he even got on his back in the grass just so he could get the ideal angle of the lawn games we were playing! He somehow was always in the right place at the right time to capture all of our favorite moments from the day. Sage went above and beyond. I treated my best man and groomsman to a hot shave the morning of the wedding. When Sage learned of this, he offered to stop by for a few minutes to capture the moment. But Sage, being the consummate professional and artist that he is, ultimately stayed for an hour documenting the whole experience. This was particularly generous of him, given that he wasn't scheduled to begin working with us until several hours later. Sage was extremely responsive and communicative, which was especially helpful given that we planned our wedding remotely. He was also quick to turnaround photos. Initially he told us we would receive our album 6-8 weeks after the wedding. We received it seven weeks later, and even then he was apologetic for the wait. We originally received electronic access to photos he posted online, and then a week later we received a beautiful box with a USB drive of all photos, as well as about 30 printed 3x5s of his favorites. Stop looking. You've found your photographer.

n you think about it, having your photo taken is a very personal experience (that can easily be awkward). Sage worked with my husband and I to make sure that we both stayed natural, yet comfortable.
