We had never taken professional photos together and didn't know what to expect, but he made us feel informed, comfortable, and excited to try something new. Justin also has an innate ability to make taking photos fun. We received so many compliments from our guests about how much they enjoyed having him at our wedding. And the photos speak for themselves; they are simply stunning. Every time we look at them, we're able to not only remember how much fun we had at our wedding, but actually feel the joy from that day once more. the kind of energy you want when you're very camera shy. He instantly made us feel comfortable and this really shined through in the photos. We really appreciated his flexibility as well. The location we had originally wanted was no longer accepting permits and Justin helped us brainstorm some alternative location ideas. Then it was expected to thunderstorm on our day and he was able to work with us on a different day. Our session ended up being on the most humid, sweltering day but Justin still kept our spirits up the whole time and we had so much fun. The photos themselves are stunning! He has a great artistic eye and was creative in his composition. Justin captured not just how everything looked, but how it felt, which is exactly what we hoped for. We can’t recommend him enough!

t as our witness, sole ceremony attendee, hype man, and what felt like a friend by the end of the day. He went above and beyond our expectations, and our photo session with him was a highlight of our wedding experience. Justin is amazing at his craft, as evidenced by his work. He also has an intimate knowledge of the DC monuments, museums, and various venues that offer great photo ops, so he was very helpful in selecting the Library of Congress as the primary setting for our session post-ceremony. Once we were there, he knew all of the best rooms, corners, and angles to get the best shots. He also identified a few impromptu stops on our path to get shots with the Capitol and the Washington Monument in the background. I couldn't be happier that we were able to get such amazing photos in front of the most iconic spots in DC. Beyond the beautiful photos, Justin has an infectious energy and is so much fun to be around. He will put you at ease while coaching you through poses, and he makes the whole thing so much fun. We're so happy to have had Justin as part of our day, and to have such beautiful memories to look back on!

During our micro wedding photoshoot, he arrived early and did a full scan of the location to make sure we got the most optimal lighting and angle. This was the first time my husband and I ever took photos together so Justin's jokes and guidance really helped us. He did a fantastic job with the details, including flagging 5 days in advance that our elopement date would be rained out, so that we were able to immediately reschedule for 2 days later. He did a great job guiding us with suggested poses while also capturing our spontaneous candid moments. At the photo shoot, he made us feel so comfortable and like we are the most photogenic people, despite any nerves we may have had. We got previews in less than 24 hours and our full gallery in 2.5 weeks. The photos are gorgeous. (1) Incredible photos We ended up with a huge set of amazing photos — posed, candid reactions from the guests, details of the venue that we didn’t even notice, and more. Usually we’d expect just a few great photos. We have more than we can count! He managed to capture every aspect of our wedding day and left us with so many stunning shots, it’s hard to choose favorites. (2) Super organized He arranged our outdoor photoshoot at amazing spots with sufficient buffer time as we moved between locations. He collected info about the venue and our ceremony plans beforehand to optimize the lighting, perspective and angles for the photoshoot. He reached out to us a few days before our wedding about his detailed plan, and was clear with expectations on when we'd receive our photos. (3) Really fun and easygoing!

Justin was such a pleasure to work with from the start and went above and beyond to make sure that my partner and I were comfortable in the run-up to the wedding and on our wedding day (which is saying a lot, because my partner hates taking/being in pictures). On the wedding day, Justin was even more incredible than I could have imagined. He made us both feel at ease the entire wedding, making us laugh and seamlessly capturing amazing pictures along the way. All night and since the wedding, we've had family and friends tell us how incredible Justin was- his easygoing, friendly demeanor made an already really special day even better and we are so grateful to have him as our photographer. The pictures he captured are stunning (no surprise given the work we'd seen of his before) but I was blown away by the candid moments he was able to capture that we will cherish forever. Again- I can't recommend Justin highly enough and will forever be grateful for both the way he was able to capture the best moments of such an important day and for him being such a wonderful person.

wo weeks before our ceremony, he came to our venue and discussed the ideal location for pictures. He was accommodating with finding the right spots for the photos and ideas on how to make the ceremony special. We’ve joked that we didn't remember seeing him during our pre-wedding events and ceremony, but he managed to get so many images and candid photos from all angles and all of the pictures he took came out amazing. He had a very quick turn around on the final album after the wedding and we now have so many wonderful pictures to remember our day. We would highly recommend Justin to anyone looking for a quality photographer who will go the extra mile.

e beauty and joy of the day. A lot of photographers we considered had beautiful photos, but the reason we went with Justin was because you could feel the joy come through the photos and it paid off! Justin sent us the high quality, well edited photos faster than I have ever heard any wedding photographer get pictures to the bride and groom and he made it very easy for us to share those pictures with family and friends. Not only did Justin deliver beautiful photos that captured the mood of the day, but he went above and beyond his photographer duties. When all of the bridal party was racing around with wet fingernails, Justin stepped in to help button the many buttons on my dress. When we were running late to get to the ceremony, Justin called the front desk at the venue to make sure our ride was waiting for us to get to the ceremony ASAP. I cannot recommend Justin enough!!!

He’s incredibly prepared and he does everything he can to make this process as easy as possible (I.e, being willing to hop on a call to discuss any questions, sending along a shot list you can just fill out). On the actual day of the wedding Justin was a wizard. He went above and beyond as a photographer, capturing all those lovely candid moments while also working with our vendors and my very chaotic family to make sure the day went smoothly. He kept the mood light and fun and our entire bridal party really loved him. Even after the wedding, we had several people reach out to tell us our photographer was awesome (an actual text from one of our bridesmaids: “Justin did THAT”). In summation, hire Justin. He really added to the warmth and joy of our big day and he’s also a fantastic dancer. (Also, he sent us preview photos faster than you would think humanly possible).

n begin?! He really is a hero when it comes to all of the vendors you deal with during the process. Their contribution to making your wedding successful is dependent on whether they decide to go above and beyond, and we can confidently say that's exactly what he did. We were hoping that the uniqueness of his initial work that we came across would also shine through on our day and he DID. NOT. DISAPPOINT! From the first moment we met with Justin, to him being the last vendor to stick around to help us clean up after the reception, he has been such a joy to be around and work with. Justin was all for meeting us at the venue for a walk-through and afterwards he stuck around for a glass of wine to chat and get to know us a little more. We greatly appreciated him getting a feel for who we are as individuals, as well as a couple. He has such a lovable personality and he really makes an effort to depict that same love through his photos. He has great attention to detail and is great with doing both candid and posed photos. His level of professionalism, adaptability, and organization of his work is second to none! Even though the weather was not on our side for our ceremony, he was still able to help us capture the amazing scenery and ambiance that we fell in love with at our venue. He took plenty of candid photos at the reception and it's like you can actually feel the energy through the pictures! He was moving all around the room with so much passion that you almost forgot that he was taking pics of everything going on. ALSO, if you ever get a chance to watch him break it down on the dance floor you'll realize... JUSTIN CAN DANCE!!! 10 out of 10 for his dance moves for sure. If we could leave a rating higher than five stars we would most definitely give him the highest praise... and then double it. The preview shots were high quality and wholesome and we will be giving him a shoutout to everyone we know! We hope to work with him again in the future! His website is clear and easy to navigate, we loved him from the very first initial consult we had (we realized halfway through our conversation that he and my husband actually had some mutual friends in common!) & we found his whole process very easy to understand and plan leading up to the day. He asked us thoughtful questions about us, our relationship, our wedding, and what we wanted to feel like looking back on our wedding photos. He made us feel very heard and didn't pressure us about making a decision right then and there (though we kind of did, we loved him right away!) Justin is extremely professional while also feeling like a friend you've had your whole life- he helped direct our friends & family during photos by shouting affirmations and encouraging us to just relax & be ourselves, helping everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera. I had a short list of things I knew I wanted to get photos of, but Justin took so many more that I didn't even think to ask for, and now can't imagine not having! I really appreciated how quick of a turnaround the photos were as well- I had some previews within days! He provided us with the full gallery without any watermarks and encouraged us to do whatever we wanted with them, and posted some of our favorites on his page as well. His work is well worth the investment, and you will feel like you have a friend supporting you and your partner throughout your day. He had lots of different package options for a variety of budgets, and the process of payment, receiving our photos, and ordering albums was all easily explained & he was in constant contact with us throughout the whole process. I lost my dad the year before our wedding & Justin was very thoughtful about handling family photos, even getting pictures of my bouquet with a charm I had made of my dad's handwriting without me even remembering to ask. He was able to wrangle my restless family for some quick photos right after the ceremony, and tapped my husband and I for a few quick pics at golden hour that came out amazing. If you can't tell by my rambling, we really loved working with Justin. If you are looking for a photographer who loves what they do, loves the couples they work with, and has a stellar portfolio, Justin is the guy for you.

I felt really comfortable asking him questions and troubleshooting possible weather issues/locations etc. Justin went with us to multiple locations on the same day at no extra charge which I thought was very generous. His prices are fair and he is very generous with what you get. Also, his attitude/vibe is so upbeat and positive he was a pleasure to work with. And of course, the photos he took were absolutely incredible! He was able to capture very intimate moments without being intrusive and I feel like he documented our wedding day so accurately, beautifully, and perfectly. I don't know how he is able to be everywhere at once! The variety of joy and emotion he captured from our friends, family, and us was out of this world. I am so so happy with my photos and I cannot recommend Justin enough for your wedding. My family was also incredibly impressed with his attitude and skill and kept asking me where I found him, commenting that I hit the jackpot! 11/10.
