We wanted to do our engagement photos in the snow and (after rescheduling a few times because Chicago weather is the worst) we LUCKED OUT with the perfect snowfall and Justine was such a trooper through the ice and snow. Once we received our sneak-peek of those pictures, we could not WAIT to see what she would capture on our wedding day. Justine and John were so easy to work with on our wedding day and captured every last detail. My husband and I spent hours looking through our wedding pictures and can NOT stop gushing over them. Every few pictures we would say "that is the one! That's the money shot" - too many great options! Justine has been so flexible and helpful throughout this whole process. We can not wait to work with JustPix for years to come.

We were married at the Onion Pub in the summer and the weather was looking questionable - Justine was flexible with our first look location and actually found an EVEN better location for wedding photos. She went above and beyond taking photos and helped keep the day moving and organized. Then, a few short weeks later the photo gallery she created is filled with memories we will cherish forever. Justine was the perfect choice for us for so many reasons. First of all, her photographs are exquisite. When I saw our "sneak peak" photos I literally cried. She captured the joy and beauty of our day and the photos are a magical combination of artsy and authentic. Second of all, Justine is wonderful to work with. We had a tiny wedding in my in-laws living room with only immediate family, and she treated it with the attention of a royal wedding. She went above and beyond to understand our vision for the day, the images we were hoping she would capture, and what role we wanted her play. I was concerned I would be distracted by having my picture taken during the ceremony, but Justine was a photography ninja and I didn't know she was there. When it was time for group shots she was a great combination of direct and polite. Corralling that many people can be an arduous task, but Justine made it quick and easy. The photos she took will be treasured for the rest of our lives and we are so grateful to her.

important that my better-late-than-never review gets posted so here goes..... My husband and I got married in Lincoln Park, Chicago November of 2016. We had a 10 month engagement which isn't too long for a city wedding so I booked vendors quickly and without meeting people in person. Justine and I talked once by phone and I knew instantly she would be the perfect fit for our day. In many ways, I had a "traditional" wedding. But it was incredibly important to me from the get go that the day focus on capturing Frankie and I in our moments, not creating moments to capture. Justine listened thoughtfully to all my requests and gave me really important things to consider (like when I didn't realize all my picture were scheduled for after sunset due to day light savings -- what a mistake that would have been!). She was patient with me as I changed up picture location and knew how to on the spot improvise when things didn't go as perfectly planned (which ended up to be the best thing that could have happened -- we got fall leaves AND city buildings all in the same location). Justine knew how to meet our desire to capture our moments, bringing in Dave who specialized in candids. I can't express enough how pleased I was with the result. Our pictures are phenomenal. Most importantly, the day was always about us just being us and our photos say it all. Thank you, Justine, for all your support along the way -- your understanding and sensitivity when it came to our challenging family dynamics and your thoughtful feedback helped me to figure out what I wanted in a way that could have never been possible without you. She was efficient in getting my "must have" list done and gently pushed me after dancing to go back out and take some more couple photos fearing we didn't get the perfect one. I'm so glad we did as the second group of photos were some of my favorite pics. I also have a 2 year old son and the pics she snapped of him throughout the day are ones to keep forever. She is very laid back, has excellent followup and just a genuinely nice person to work with. She worked with me on my budget, cutting out things like printing a traditional wedding album or going to my house to take the "getting ready" photos so I could hit my budget and was flexible about delivery of the finished product. We had a difficult hall to take pictures in with lots of windows and lighting challenges but she did a phenomenal job of getting quality photos. For me the photographer is all about the experience and catching the perfect shots. Justine did both!

I called Justine, and quickly knew that she was the perfect match for our wedding. From that day, so helped plan the timeline for the wedding and ensured that everything ran smoothly and made sure I got exactly what I wanted. She was so amazing to work with. We did pictures at an old mansion in town, at the church, and then in downtown Sycamore. I could not be more thrilled with the way everything turned out. She found the most amazing backdrops. My biggest problem now is that I cannot decided which photos to enlarge and hang on the walls; they are all so great!!!!

excellent photography. I can't tell you how many compliments I've had over my pictures.;She can be somewhat pricey, but you get what you pay for. She'll work hard at you wedding and get all the right shots but be prepared to spend some money. Also, she sometimes takes a while to get back to you because she is busy and running the company, so be patient because she'll never let you down.
