k-in with our reservation and the front desk staff (Lorraine specifically) was rude and condescending. Seeing how stressed I was over the situation, which occurred a couple of hours before our ceremony rehearsal and dinner, my husband reached out to Keri to see if she could help in some way. Like the rockstar she is, Keri reached out directly to the hotel manager. Keri's involvement in our wedding planning made our experience stress-free and fun. You can tell she really has a passion for what she does. She treats each couple with compassion and provides superior customer service each step of the way. We received the best experience (even more so than the one we received from our hired wedding planner). We had our wedding in the Valencia ballroom, and from start to end, Keri was there to help with room dimension questions, space planning, and guest count changes. JW, you have a gem on your hands! She made up for your shortfalls. The chef and catering staff were attentive as well. They made sure we were happy with our food and made sure we had a drink in our hands all night.

Our complimentary day of coordinator, Faith (Faithfully Yours Wedding & Event Planning), was amazing - she handled all of the details, helped us plan a great reception dinner, venue, and transportation, and made the day stress free. Our complimentary officiant, Pastor Phil York, was so nice, informative, and added humor to the ceremony - which complimented our personalities. Our JW Marriott Sales Manager, Leslie, was very helpful helping us determine how much time we needed for the ceremony and reception and was very responsive. The price for our size of group was reasonable for the exceptional service we received and the quality of food and drinks. The wait staff and bartenders were the best anyone could ask for! We used the venue’s preferred vendors for our cake (Rolling in Dough Bakery) and flowers (ACS Floral & Events) and were very happy with everything. ACS Floral & Events was exceptional in helping us with our vision and had a great idea of repurposing some ceremony flowers for table centerpieces. Our amazing photographer was SarahJay Photography, who I highly recommend! Thank you JW Marriott and our other vendors for making our day perfect!

t into all of the planning showed every step of the way. She was so on top of every single detail, it took all of the stress and guess work off of us. Wedding planning can be typically stressful as-is, and then add the pandemic with so much unknown – but Keri kept everything running so smoothly regardless. I speak on behalf of my family and wedding party when I say we all truly loved every second working with Keri and are extremely grateful for her!!! If you’re looking for a beautiful wedding venue with amazing outdoor grounds and beautiful ballrooms (we were in The Parian room), I promise you that the JW Marriott in Las Vegas is the place to book. Our wedding photos were stunning with the pond and garden backdrops, and the ballroom was simply incredible. The staff at the hotel and at the reception were all so attentive, polite, and just an all around pleasure to interact with. Your wedding dreams will all come true if you work with Keri and the JW staff!

initially sold us on the wedding package; she is amazing and we instantly loved how friendly and outgoing she was. However, the hotel and accommodations were simply amazing. I don't know if we will be able to ever stay on the strip after being spoiled by the JW! The food at our reception was amazing and my family and guests raved about the food and the overall service of each and ever person that we came into contact with. The grounds are beautiful and every recommendation we were given for vendors were excellent. I feel we were given star treatment and I am forever grateful and will have life long memories I will cherish! I will recommend the JW Marriott to everyone looking for a wonderful experience: wedding, etc. Thank you for a dream week!

and I knew we wanted to be married in Las Vegas off of the strip and surrounded in a beautiful landscape where out of town guests could enjoy something different, something that fit us and our budget. After setting off looking at other Venues, I randomly pitched the J.W. Marriott as a last minute alternate, as I am a Marriott Bonvoy Member and wasn't sure what the property would be able to accommodate. That is the only thing I regret- the waste of time in comparing so many other venues, total cost and actual value before we looked at J.W. Here is where the Ship was righted- My other 1/2 was able to contact the Catering Sales Manager (Donna Quichocho) and tour the property while I was out of town. Donna provided a wealth of information and she was/has been amazing throughout one of the biggest moment's in our lives. I called Donna and asked to tour, coincidently, there was a bridal open house (no shame in my game, being the only prospective groom there) that weekend and I was able to meet with all vendors, tour the multiple wedding sites, and taste some delicious food. After that weekend- our fate was sealed, J.W. Marriott was our top choice and should have been the whole time!!!!! The most important aspect of our wedding was that we wanted a beautiful ceremony, followed by an amazing party that friends and family would remember for a lifetime. the second aspect of importance was to set a realistic budget and not deviate from what we wanted to spend. Looking over the total inclusive packages that the J.W. Marriott has, there is something for everyone's price point. Our Big Day: We chose to have our wedding at the Garden Gazebo, our cocktail hour on the patio, and our reception in Cascade. I can count on one hand how many times my Bride to be "bridezilla'd" me and wanted to adjust anything and everything. Regardless of the amount of questions, or changes requested, Donna was a total gem to work with throughout the whole process, and she was by our side on the big day, not only working on her day off, but enjoying the moment in time with us. she is part of our tribe! Word's will not do justice in trying to describe how truly special our wedding was and how the J.W. Marriott team led by Donna Quichocho, our Banquet Captain Devin, our Servers Hector M., Maria A., Karen W., Pablo D., Celeste H., Rosa G., Margara H., and Rosa F. made our guests feel like family and captured the moment in time we were striving to achieve. From the lush beautiful grounds of the J.W., to the wonderfully flavored fall apart in your mouth Short Rib, the servers flowing libations to guests without them ever asking for a refill, and the ability of all team members willing to accommodate requests at a moment’s notice- it was a over the top, simple party that allowed 3 families to become united- My Wife's, Mine, and the J.W. Marriott Family. Our guests stated that this was the standard for all future weddings! They couldn’t stop talking about how gorgeous the venue was, and how amazing everything from servers, staff, food, drinks, décor, to the Mariachi band and photographers for our big day. I tell you, nothing will ever top this day for us, and our guests 😊 J.W. Marriott, where our adventure started!

responsive when it cam not email communication which is always appreciated. On the day of the event the staff went above and beyond for our client and my team. The food service was very smooth and they were able to accommodate a lot of last minute changes with grace and were happy to please ! Thanks again guys !

tting in the gardens was perfect; the bartenders, waiters/waitresses, and Jeremy were caring and helpful; and the day of coordinator, Lexi Kruger was invaluable in solving last minute crises and keeping everyone on schedule. As a meeting professional for more than 30 years, I know how much effort it takes to stage an event of this type. I highly recommend both the venue and staff.

ons options. The grounds are gorgeous and make for a beautiful backdrop. Our cocktail hour was in the lodge, which is so lovely it hardly needed any decorations. The reception was in Valencia. This ballroom is on its own floor and has its own outside patio. So unique! We loved our wedding here!

most beautiful and memorable day of our lives. They even brought out a pack & play and some blankets and pillows when some of the little ones fell asleep after so much excitement. The food was phenomenal, they even saved some appetizers for us and brought them over during the photo shoot so we could eat. We had barely eaten all day so this was much appreciated! Our day was perfect, we would highly recommend the JW Marriott and Donna.

dding in Vegas, all our out of town guests stayed at the JW and couldn't rave more about their stay and the special rate for their rooms. Everything was basically included in the venue package from catering to DJ's to day-of coordinators, and the JW has all top notch connections. The biggest hick-up we ran into was booking rooms last minute, but in the end the JW pulled through and had availability.

and linens, coordinated with our pastor and DJ to make sure everyone was on the same page, and with our DJ organized the whole event down to the last minute. They also gave us a wedding suite for the day before and day of which was very convenient. Our only issue was that we had multiple wedding planners for the event which got a bit complicated and annoying, but in the end our wedding planner was fantastic and very flexible. The day of was more than perfect. We heard multiple times that the food was the best wedding food people had ever tasted. It didn't even look like wedding food but a feast for kings and queens with so many options - fantastic. I planned to do a lot of the decorating on my own and did not have a florist, but my wedding coordinator took everything and made the venue look fabulous while I got ready with my wedding party. They definitely took a lot of the stress away and the venue couldn't have been more beautiful. It helped that the weather was perfect but they made sure that even in the early spring the water features were running for us and the lighting was perfect. We couldn't have imagined a more lovely venue for our special day.

isco. This room had a comfortable and spacious bed and the most awesome bathtub and shower (overhead shower!). We would totally go back on any staycation and highly recommend this room compared to others on the strip for quality and price!

of the ceremony is not included- it all costs extra. You want more than 25 chairs? Extra. You want a sound system/microphone? Extra. You want a rehearsal time? Extra. You have your own photographer? Extra. It was getting ridiculous so we didn't use JW as our venue. Too expensive for what you get.

and they wouldnt let him check in, saying the room wasnt ready and he would have to come back in an hour or two. He explained that he was getting married and he had to go, they didnt care. They made no effort to switch rooms or anything to make it easier on us. Long story short we couldnt check in until about midnight when we got back to the hotel after the wedding, which was bad because we didnt know where anything was, including our wallets. During the clean up of the dressing rooms everyones stuff got mixed up and someone had my purse and same with my husband. The front desk was giving us a hard time because of this, which wouldnt have been an issue had they let him check in earlier. I just think that they need to make more of an effort to accomodate the needs of their guests especially on their big day. The resort is absolutely gorgeous, the rooms are spectacular and their Sunday morning champagne brunch is great!

erywhere we turned there were waiters helping with everything. They went above and beyond to make everything perfect. Even helping us carry things out to the car when that was not part of their job! I remember cutting the cake and thinking how difficult it was. Not even 5 minutes later everyone was already served with cake and coffee. Amazing service!!

ough about the beauty of the hotel. The staff were great from start to finish. And the food was amazing! There were a number of options to choose from and the team really works with you to determine what fits your style best. If anything, my only caution would be about the room blocks. We were told our room blocks would be the best price possible and then many of our guests found better rates directly through the JWM website, so I'd be conscious of that if you book there. Also, while the bridal suite is huge and lovely, it was also looking pretty rundown - peeling wallpaper, old furniture. Hopefully they do a renovation soon as the room is pretty amazing.

while. The dance floor was shaking and moving all night due to the music and bass, which made a lot of people nauseous.

reception lounge was amazing as well, very different and unique from your typical ballroom. We had a minor hiccup with our catering manager, who was changed at the last minute, but the transition was smooth and our event turned out perfect! The resort is absolutely stunning and the service exceptional. We were treated like royalty during the reception and throughout our entire stay. The catering staff was impeccable!
