JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort & Spa

y wedding was ultimately beautiful, Courtney was phenomenal when it came to helping with vendors and my bridal party. However, the issues that kept coming up were things that couples should not have to worry about on their wedding day. People's rooms were not clean, rooms were not put close together for my hotel block, people did not get beds that they requested, we had to ask the front desk multiple times to deliver welcome bags which we had paid to be delivered by them, banquet staff was rude to my outside vendors, staff did not clean my honeymoon suite after requested (my bridesmaids had to do it which took over an hour away from my wedding). I expected much more from this venue. I really did. I was disappointed with all of these issues as customer service is the main reason why I chose this venue. Overall, everyone loved how beautiful this venue was and my ceremony and reception were great, I just wish I didn't have to worry about certain things on my wedding day.

an event manager with the resort, Linette, and we are very please with how hard she worked to coordinate various details for our wedding. We loved having the opportunity to stay at the resort for our catering tasting. The service at the resort is a huge reason why we booked our wedding here. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The day of our wedding, we were extremely pleased with the service from the banquet staff throughout dinner! I also liked how the resort provided the bride and groom with a separate "getting ready" space aside from our honeymoon suite. We wouldn't have changed anything about our wedding at Starr Pass - it was just perfect!

If you would like to host a wedding in the Tucson area - The JW Marriott is the place to do it. The food, cocktails, amenities, grounds, and overall service exceeded our (already high) expectations. NE remembered who we were. They treat everyone with respect and make you feel special. We got married on a Sunday and had lots of family stay out there friday and saturday night. It was like being on a vacation for 2 days before my wedding...it was wonderful! Everyone has said our wedding was the best and most fun wedding they have ever been to. This is mainly due to Starr Pass and all the work they put into our wedding. They added so many little details that I wouldn't think of, and it really just made it so special. I would definitely tell everyone looking to host any event, especially a wedding to look at JW Marriott Starr Pass. I know my husband and I will be back to visit to celebrate our anniversaries.

We planned to have our family and friends meet for the toast and in passing, we mentioned that we loved the apple cinnamon tequila we had once. Not only did they reserve a section of the patio for our party, they also made sure our section received apple cinnamon tequila, even though they were offering something else for all the other people at the hotel. The staff was friendly, helpful, and always went above and beyond! The food was amazing and they worked with us on our budget too!

ng in the Tucson Mountains, to the stunning outdoor ceremony site and reception hall, to the delicious 5-course meal... our wedding was beyond anything we could have imagined because of the JW Marriott's resources and staff. Our guests received significantly reduced room rates, yet were treated like royalty. This resort excels at customer service! The resort provided us with TWO wedding coordinators (Agustina and Jill) who took care of the many element of the wedding planning process. Agustina and Jill were a joy to work with, and receptive to our ideas and requests. My friends and family commented about how relaxed I was as a bride - I believe that is primarily attributable to the JW Marriott's excellence. Thank you!
