JW Salon and Spa

Meghan A. and the entire JW Salon team were exceptional to work with on my wedding day and I would recommend them for everything in a heartbeat. From start to finish, the entire team was kind, organized, thoughtful about the day’s plans and totally prepared for my girls and I. All of my bridesmaids loved their hair which held all day long through the windiest day I’ve ever seen in Savannah and several hours worth of photos. I worked specifically with Meghan for my bridal hairdo and I could not have asked for more. Meghan is a true artist. So creative, kind and just a lovely person. She made my hair look better than I thought possible. My updo was soft, romantic and somehow held throughout the entire day without looking like I had been baked in hairspray. I don’t know how she did it, but it was easily the best my hair has ever looked and I got to start my morning with a team of people I truly enjoyed. Secretly, I want them all to be my friend, they are just that lovely. Thank you again JW Salon! You were wonderful.

I was SO nervous about my bridesmaids' hair. I've been to so many weddings where their hair looks crunchy from hairspray and I did not want my girls to look like that. JW exceeded my expectations - everyone looked amazing! Simple, classic, fresh, and not crunchy!! Jessi and all of the girls were so accommodating, quick to respond, and I couldn't have been happier! I never write reviews, but after what I just went through at the JW Salon, it would be wrong of me not to share my experience. I want everyone to know that your are AT RISK OF GETTING YOUR HAIR BURNED OFF if your visit JW Salon. After going in for a routine keratin treatment (which I’ve had done numerous times), I noticed the texture of my hair was very rough, crinkled, and brittle. After a day or two, my hair started falling out. Anywhere from an inch to 6 inches from my scalp, my hair is literally falling off of my head, every single day. I can’t even put my hair in a ponytail anymore because I have hair sticking out everywhere. The damage done to my hair, and knowing that it will take years for me to grow it back has made me depressed, so much to where I can’t even look at myself in the mirror. Everyday is a nightmare for me. In the past, when JW Salon was under different ownership, the caliber of professionalism and talent was untouchable, which is why there are good reviews for this place, but that is the only reason. Ashlynn Evans has not only butchered my hair, but my life. I should have followed my stylist Jennifer Adair when she left for Salon Tribe, but rest assured I will never make that mistake again.

The JW Salon team was incredible! In the midst of a hot, hectic day, the staff was calm, efficient and did incredible work on both myself (the bride) and my bridal party. I've never seen an entire group of girls (+moms) happy with their hair, but JW made it happen!
