Hello! My name is Josh McFarland and I am a Professional DJ out of Grand Rapids, MI. I specialize in high end, intimate weddings, corporate, and community events, while working together with couples, business owners, and non-profit organizations. I've had the amazing privilege of performing at many events all across the country! What inspires me as a DJ, continues to push me to keep growing and providing the absolute BEST DJ service in the area - and that's YOU! I DJ because of the power music has to create unforgettable moments, to bring people of all backgrounds together, and to make people feel a sense of happiness! My DJ sets travel through time, from those timeless classics that your parents and grandparents love, all the way to the new top hits that you and your friends bump regularly! I'm not a salesperson, I don't do cheesy skits/games, I don't use pre-made playlists, and I won't send someone else to DJ your event! From start to finish, I will meet with you, I will listen to you, and I will work one on one with you to ensure that your event will be exactly what YOU want! ALL of the details of your event are important to me and my desire to make no two events alike makes me confident that your event will truly be unlike any other! eception, and he was really patient in answering all our questions and talking through the various options we were considering for special dances, the toasts, the grand entrance, etc. On the day of our wedding, everything went perfectly--he had everything running smoothly and created the best atmosphere for the night from beginning to end. Tons of guests complimented us on the music and live mixing, and we were having so much fun we spent basically the entire night on the dance floor. The night of was a DREAM! Josh played the perfect tunes all night and kept, quite literally, everyone on the dance floor all night long. My wife and I told Josh what kind of music we wanted and gave a few examples, but Josh filled in the gaps perfectly. He included everything we asked for and was able to round out the playlist better than I could have for myself. He had smooth transitions that kept the energy high and everyone engaged. He really listened to what we hand in mind and his delivery was above and beyond our expectation. I could not recommend Josh more!

I knew from there he would make our night feel so special. On the day of, the dance floor was completely full from the moment we opened up till the lights went on at the end of the night. He kept the party going with Latino music, Taylor Swift, and classic line dances from every decade to get everyone moving.
