The JX was a beautiful venue, we loved having our wedding here! From the moment we walked in and saw the main staircase with the chandelier we were hooked. The event staff were phenomenal, we loved working with Emily through the initial planning stages and getting to work with Sam the day off. Everyone from the JX was very helpful through the entire process with questions that came up. We loved the preferred vendor list and found a lot of our vendors from that list which made planning easier knowing our vendors had been to the JX before. We would absolutely recommend this location for any event!

When our venue cancelled on us, Emily stepped in super last minute and let us tour the venue. She made every step of the way a breeze and so much less stressful which in the midst of changing a huge chunk of our plans. I cannot recommend them enough. Very large venue, great food options, dessert options, layouts in mind and more. Also, they photo booth was a huge hit and comes with the venue!

The team at the JX are incredible. They are so responsive, willing to answer any questions, and are so kind. The meeting 1 month before the wedding helped clarify so many things for me as a bride. Emily was great with offering suggestions but not pushing any opinions. Our day of coordinator Corey was super organized and set everything up exactly how I wanted. The venue itself is stunning, clean, easy to access for guests, and a great spot to get ready at. When I first saw pictures of the JX online I knew I had to get married there. It ended up being the only venue we looked at because once we saw it in person I knew it was a perfect fit. It has a lot of character itself but there is also so much you can do to make it fit your vision. The bathrooms were extremely clean both for the guests and in the getting ready rooms. Having parking directly across the street makes it super easy for guests to come and go. The getting ready rooms were more than big enough for 6 bridesmaids, 2 mom’s and 4 hair and makeup staff. I’m so thankful for the entire team for making our day everything I could have hoped for!

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The JX Center team far exceeded our expectations and made our wedding so special.Emily and her team made everything possible. From her meticulous organization to her professionalism, we never had to worry about a thing. Judd and his team were awesome to work with and we are still in awe of how amazing our photos turned out. Judd was able to capture all the moments on our big day perfectly. We are still in awe at how much fun Judd, Emily and their team were to work with. They made our wedding day so much more perfect than anything we could’ve ever dreamed.Our family and friends all had an amazing time and will treasurer the memory forever.  Thanks again Emily, Judd, and team!  WOW… just simply WOW!

We recently got married here and the day could not have gone any more perfect. The venue staff were professional, responsive, and experts at what they do. They helped us put together a great plan and made sure everything went off without a hitch. Would highly recommend this space to anyone getting married! Our guests thought the venue amenities were fantastic.

The moment we toured JX we knew we had to book it for our wedding. Downtown Stillwater is quaint and JX so elegant. The natural brick, tons of natural lighting through the windows, and chandeliers that make this place so unique and unlike any other venue we toured. We opted for the VIP package with JX and it was worth every penny. We had no clue where to start with the wedding planning process and we truly thought at times that we didn’t know how we’d pull it off. However, having Emily as our expert planner made the planning process so seamless for us. We booked almost all of their preferred vendors, which made our day come together flawlessly. Emily is used to working with their preferred vendors and we truly didn’t worry for a minute that things wouldn’t work out. We trusted Emily with every aspect of our day and it turned out perfectly. Even the couple vendors we booked that weren’t preferred, they worked seamlessly together. I’m a very indecisive person, struggle with making decisions and Emily was alway so flexible with us. We aren’t from the Stillwater area or had much of a connection to it before our wedding, but we certainly do now. We have returned multiple times since our wedding to visit restaurants, or even events that JX has hosted. Emily and team truly make you feel like you’re a part of their JX family every time you return. We could not recommend JX venue and the VIP experience enough. It made our wedding truly perfect, and we wouldn’t change a thing. 10/10 recommend!

JX Venue was an absolute dream to have our wedding at. From the beginning of planning to after our wedding day, Emily and Kallan were very responsive the entire time. They promptly responded to our questions and scheduling final details meetings. Kallan was our Day of Coordinator and I would not have wanted it any other way! At our ceremony rehearsal, she worked with our pastor in a professional manner, made sure everyones questions were answered, and ensured all grandparents, parents, and wedding party knew what they were doing. Kallan took care of setting up all our decorations and she did an absolute fantastic job, down to adding a tree skirt to our christmas tree decoration (something I completely forgot about) without asking me! Her details and final touches made my vision come true and the wedding day would not have been the same without her. Our guests were blown away by the beauty and uniqueness of JX Venue, and we received complements on the venue all night! The staff was so friendly and helpful at the end of the night after the dance was over and we were cleaning up. I highly recommend this venue to anyone who is wanting a team who is really going to give you the best service you could ask for!

I am the owner of Camrose Hill, a florist in Stillwater, MN. I just want to say what a pleasure it is to work at JX Event Venue in Stillwater, MN. It is beautiful - both rustic and elegant rolled into one. With exposed brick walls and crystal chandeliers it's simple beauty is a perfect backdrop for a wedding. We love working there - the staff is wonderful! Every detail of the venue is so well thought out and their staff is always so helpful to us as a vendor - it makes it a pleasure to work there. Flowers show up so well in the beautiful simple/elegant space.

JX is amazing!! The venue is gorgeous and the staff, especially Emily, are incredible to work with. They are so professional and communicative. They want your day to be stress-free and everything you want it to be. I would highly recommend!!

We had the best day of our lives on our wedding day and picking JX was such a big part of that! So many wonderful things I could say about every little detail! The town, location, ceremony/dinner/reception setup, the beautiful look of the venue were all so amazing. The first time we knew we picked the right venue was because of Emily!! Especially being a same sex couple that was a concern if we would feel comfortable and she did not disappoint. She along with our day of coordinator, Cory were so kind and genuinely happy to see and hear about our love story. Also, having Cory coordinate the whole day was SO worth it, he’s amazing. I hope everyone at JX gets to have him. All the other staff members were so great, we felt like royalty. If you are leaning towards picking JX, just do it. It’ll be one of the best decisions you’ll ever make. Wish we could live that day a thousand times over. THANK YOU!!

We absolutely loved having our wedding at JX! We got so many compliments on the venue. Everyone there was incredible to work with and very professional and knowledgeable. I loved having the getting ready rooms, and there are so many great places for pictures!

We had such a wonderful experience working with JX Event Venue for our wedding ceremony and reception space. We had the opportunity to work with Emily from start to finish and she was amazing! Not only did she keep in continuous contact, but she answered all our questions and made great recommendations for our big day. We loved the natural light, ability to use real candles throughout the space, having all of our events throughout the day in the same building, and the helpfulness from the JX Staff. We received multiple positive comments regarding the space and staff. We cannot recommend JX Event Venue more!!

Cannot recommend this venue enough! All communication was easy and fast! Every single staff member was kind and helpful. We also used the day of coordinator through the venue, Cory, and he absolutely crushed it. The entire wedding went so smoothly due to his and his communication skills! Our guests absolutely LOVED the venue, it is gorgeous and barely needed any extra decorations.

There are not enough glowing adjectives to describe my son’s wedding at JX Event Venue. The historic brick building was big enough for our sizable wedding and a beautiful backdrop for photos, getting-ready rooms roomy and comfy, meal provided by the catering arm fantastic, bartenders efficient and friendly, dance floor spacious, and photo booth a nonstop hit. The night hummed along magically and far too quickly, thanks in no small part to the expert planning services of Emily Tweed. Thank you, Emily & Co., for a magical night!

JX is truly the best venue, you can not go wrong. From the location, the ambiance and atheistic, everything could not be more perfect. All of our guests couldn’t believe how amazing JX was. Emily is exceptional at her job and made everything so easy, especially the day of the wedding. We had her as our wedding coordinator as well, and if anything went wrong, we had no idea. She was unbelievable and also extremely flexible. I can not recommend JX and Emily more!

After touring many wedding venues, we hadn’t found one that had everything we wanted until we found JX. All the amenities from a big space with a long bar, beautiful wood and brick interior, large bridal and groom suites. There is also a photo booth room included that our guests had a blast with! All of this is in the heart of downtown Stillwater. They have a catering service, Bella Vida, that was super easy to work with and the food was phenomenal. All of our guests were raving about it! Emily helped guide us through the entire process and was so helpful with answering questions (in a very timely manner). We felt as though there wasn’t a thing to worry about because JX has so much experience and expertise. Also, at the end of the evening, the Bella Vida employees were extremely kind and helpful - they helped with collecting the center table pieces and clean up. Overall, we had an incredible experience and recommend JX to anyone who wants wants a wedding night that they and their guests will remember forever!

JX was an amazing and stunningly beautiful wedding venue! We loved everything about JX, from the VIP suites to the in-house photobooth, and so much more. The staff at JX were extremely helpful, fun, and super easy to work with. They were also accommodative and very quick to respond to emails. A beautiful venue. The exposed beams and bricks coupled with the wood floors and big windows makes this a terrific space for an event. My niece was married here. We loved the space and the staff. It truly captures the lovely, old fashioned feel of downtown Stillwater. The staff is clearly experienced and they deliver a memorable experience.

JX was great to work with, the staff were great and the venue/building itself is perfect for a wedding. I’ve been in a couple other weddings this year and the layout and spaces JX provides is really very nice. The bar staff was efficient and friendly, the catered you have to use are great and the food portions are huge. The building is beautiful and everywhere in there makes for a great photo background along with the courtyard outside, lakefront, park up the street, and bushes/flowers across the street at the hotel. Only drawback is how much they charge to get into the venue early, we ended up not paying for extra hours so had it from 1-1am and got ready at a VRBO near by.

JX was the BEST venue to work with for our wedding. So professional and really know what they are doing. Our entire day went off without a hitch. They really made our vision come to life, and had great vendor recommendations as well. Our guests LOVED the venue and had an absolute blast. Corey was our day of coordinator and was wonderful! We worked with Emily Tweed leading up to the event and she could not have been more helpful, and put our minds at ease about everything. You really do get what you pay for with this place.

My husband and I could not have asked for a more beautiful wedding venue for our big day. We have gotten so many comments on the simplicity yet beauty of the building itself; and have heard many times that JX is one of the nicest wedding venues our guests have been to. We worked with Greta for our day of coordinator and she is simply amazing. She transformed the space into everything we could have imagined and was so pleasant to work with. Emily and Kallan were always quick with getting back to us and keeping us in the loop. The getting ready rooms for the wedding party were amazing to have on site with easy access to them all night long. The venue also has a photo booth with access to all of the pictures a few days after the wedding which was a hit with our guests. Definitely recommend this venue to anyone considering it!

JX Event Venue was the absolute perfect venue for our wedding day! The venue itself is so gorgeous and plenty big for our guest list of 230 people. The staff that works there is so friendly and easy to work with. We worked with Emily for our day of coordinator and she did such an amazing job making sure that the day ran smoothly. I cannot recommend JX enough as a wedding or event venue.

JX Event Venue was the perfect place to have our wedding. The venue is stunning and has tons of awesome amenities, such as the grooms room, brides room, and a photo booth. The location in Stillwater is also close to many hotels, restaurants, and many great picture locations. We hired Emily as our wedding planner and she was so helpful to work with! She was very knowledgeable, helpful, and fun to work with. She has many great recommendations that made the wedding planning process much easier and less stressful. What a beautiful venue! The exposed brick and industrial vibe of the space is absolutely amazing! We didn’t need to go crazy with the decor because the whole venue is gorgeous as-is. Emily was amazing & made sure that every detail of our day was thought out and executed perfectly! We loved that the bridal suite & groom’s space were on-site so everyone could get ready in the same place. Our guests LOVED the photo booth, it was a huge hit and so much fun to see all the photos after! The whole JX team made sure that we didn’t have anything to worry about on our wedding day and we are so thankful. Would highly recommend this venue to anyone!

It's hard to find the words to express how grateful we are to have had our wedding day at JX. We can't recommend this venue enough! The interior speaks for itself. The atmosphere is so welcoming, gorgeous, and is truly customizable to what you envision for your special day. The space really does not need much decor because of its natural beauty, but it really is a blank canvas to make your event whatever you want it to be! The staff is truly amazing to work with. From the first venue tour a year and a half before we set our date, to the final details meeting 3 weeks before our big day, Emily was so kind, attentive, and always ensured that we were taken care of throughout the entire planning process. She is extremely skilled at what she does! We would also highly recommend booking day-of coordination services through JX. These staff members know the venue like the back of their hands, and we have Cory to thank for ensuring our day ran so smoothly and efficiently. From the moment we arrived at the start of our rental, he was so organized, considerate, and helpful with anything we needed throughout the day. He is awesome! All of this to say, if you're thinking of booking at JX, do it. You will not be disappointed!

So beautiful and everyone was so helpful! We had so much room with 300+ guests throughout the ceremony and reception. There was never once a moment it felt too crowded or close for comfort. The venue is absolutely beautiful! You will not regret booking a wedding here!
