Working with Katie was truly a dream. From our engagement session last June to our wedding day a few weekends ago, she made the entire process feel so effortless and natural - something both my husband and I were a little nervous about! Aside from how professional and easy to work with Katie is, she is SO fun and outgoing. She makes taking a million photos a blast!! On top of all of that, she had 150+ preview photos to us 24 hours after our wedding...we were still riding the high of our wedding day and got to relive it so soon after. Hiring her as our wedding photographer was easily one of the best decisions we made during our planning process, we cannot recommend her enough!

Hiring Katie as our wedding photographer was truly one of the best decisions we could have made for our wedding day. Katie is not only a photographer, but also a friend, a planner, a decision maker, a dress fluffer, a hype girl, a drink reminder - honestly anything you could need she is there to lend a hand! Katie was incredibly responsive anytime I had a question throughout the planning process. She also helped me unscramble my thoughts on what I needed for a timeline and a picture list on the day of with her knowledge and expertise. Hiring Katie to be our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made! Katie was AMAZING! From the first time I spoke with her I felt instantly at ease and knew she would be flawless to work with. I can't stress enough how wonderful she is. We pushed our wedding a year due to COVID and she went above and beyond to even edit our tiny backyard wedding photos for us. For our rescheduled wedding she really was the best! I cannot say enough great things about Katie - she shot our engagement photos and wedding photos. Her photos are so vibrant, fun and romantic, and they really captured the emotions of the day. Katie is hands down the best photographer and overall person ever! Katie is AMAZING! She's a talented photographer, a bright light of a person, and an organized professional. Katie was an absolute joy to work with and if I could recommend her more highly I would. I reached out to Katie about a month before our wedding date - we had decided to keep our original date, but do a mini-zoom ceremony instead. Despite the short notice, Katie was prompt in responding with us and tailoring a package to our needs. We didn't communicate again until about a week before the ceremony and Katie was as excited as we were and very helpful with helping us plan out a timeline. On the day of the ceremony, Katie came to the venue early, scoped out good locations and lighting and was probably more prepared than we were. She was absolutely crucial to things going smoothly. She was fun, warm, engaging and went above and beyond to make us and our handful of guests comfortable. She captured our day so well and we were surprised and impressed at how quickly she got us a sneak peek and our full album. The pictures are absolutely gorgeous. When we started planning our wedding in the winter of 2018/2019, Katie was the first photographer I reached out to. She had photographer my brother's wedding a few months before and she was so easy to work with and the photos came out beautifully. Well, she did a wonderful job again and we are so glad that we hired her! Katie was very helpful every step of the way, especially during such an unpredictable year. She even went above and beyond with helping us to plan out our day-of timeline for our (plan B) backyard wedding and also by recommending several other photographers for our 2021 reception since she's unfortunately unavailable on our "postponed" date. We pulled our wedding together in a short timeframe and were delighted Katie was available! Every aspect of working with Katie just felt comfortable and stress-free! Cannot say enough wonderful things about Katie. We hired her for our tiny elopement on a last minute impulse (initially weren't even going to do photos) and I don't think we could have picked better if we had looked for six months. Literally almost everyone who has seen the photos comments they look like they belong in a bridal magazine. But my favorite thing is that her photos are so energetic, joyful, and alive. In a time when almost none of our friends could actually be at the wedding I felt like the photos captured a tiny bit of the emotion of actually being there and it was so special to share that with everyone. For us, the main reason to hire Katie over other photographers was her editing style -- her work is bright, lively, and colorful, and instantly stands out from so many other photographers who do "light and airy" (kind of washed out/overexposed) or dark and moody styles. Her style made her stand out to us from a long list of photographers in Boston Magazine. It's truly unique and made our wedding look bright and joyful without being oversaturated. Beyond that, Katie has all of the planning and people skills that make a wedding photographer, or any wedding vendor, a pleasure to work with - while being super-conscious about COVID safety, she also put us at ease about all the possible weather and planning contingencies we were worried about, managed the photoshoot itself in a fun and high-energy way, and turned around 300+ photos in just two weeks afterwards! We also got a preview of the photos the day after the wedding that we could immediately share with friends and family - super important if you're doing a pandemic elopement. We never thought we could look so good in photos!!!

We can’t say enough good things about Katie Karlberg photography. We first met with Katie one on one and instantly connected with her! She is so personable and made us feel like we were the most special couple in the world. I did boudoir photos with Katie to give as a gift to my husband-to-be on our wedding day. I had worked with her at a friend's wedding the year before and just remember her positive energy and the gorgeous photos she delivered - so when I saw she did boudoir, I thought it would be less nerve-wracking to go with someone I was familiar with. And honestly, she makes you feel SO comfortable whether you've met her before or not - anyone will love working with her. She's the best. We met at her studio, popped some bubbles, and got to shooting. The pictures are AMAZING. I can't believe it's me in them, and my now-husband LOVED THEM. So, having worked with Katie on now both a wedding AND a boudoir shoot, I highly, highly recommend her and her work. She's so easy to get along with, so professional, and you will be obsessed with the final product.

I don’t even know where to start!! Katie was such an amazing photographer for our wedding. She was so nice from the start! The first time we spoke she was so welcoming and very helpful in explaining the different packages she offered. She was always very quick to answer any questions I had. Before the wedding she scheduled a call to see if there were any specific pictures ideas I wanted, asked for which family and friends I wanted to make sure I got pictures with, asked about all of our wedding details, made a wedding day schedule for us and gave helpful advise and tips to make our wedding day perfect! We met Katie and one of her assistant photographers Tiffany for the first time in person the day of the wedding. It felt like we had known each other forever when they arrived. They were extremely outgoing and fun throughout the the entire day. They did a great job getting everyone together and keeping a natural feel to our pictures instead of feeling staged. I loved that she showed us pictures on her screen after taking them so we could make sure they were coming out how we wanted. There was not one picture that we didn’t like. They all came out so beautiful! The best part of having Katie shoot our wedding was how quick she got pictures back to us. We received more than 50 pictures the day after our wedding. K+O Photo exceeded any expectations we had when looking for a photographer. We had reached out about a year before the big day and spoke with Katie on the phone for about 30-45 minutes. Katie was so knowledgeable, upbeat and positive, and was a breeze to communicate with. We also had her for our engagement pictures and she was a dream to work with. We had rescheduled twice, once due to 100 degree weather and she was able to accommodate on the fly with us. She went with us to three different locations and made us feel at ease through the whole process. We knew we made the perfect decision in picking Katie (K+O) when we received our engagement pictures shortly after. They were exactly what we wanted for our pictures! Bright, clear, and full of color. Leading up to the wedding she sent over a form to gather as much information from us as possible (shots we wanted, dynamics of the bridal party/ families, etc). We also got on the phone a few days before the wedding and Katie was great at calming my nerves! On the big day Katie and her second photographer arrived before their planned time and started the picture taking immediately. We had a big wedding (210 guests) and wanted photo’s with all family groups and Katie was quick and efficient getting the right people into the photos. Within two days of our wedding we had 70 pictures back! We can’t wait to see the rest of the pictures and we’re beyond happy with the outcome thus far. Stop looking around and choose Katie! I had a whole spreadsheet of photographers and I'm so glad we chose K+O for our engagement shoot. Katie was very responsive over email and fit us in despite our crazy work schedule. We did a sunrise shoot (highly recommend it!) and the time flew by so quickly! My fiance and I are not super into PDA but Katie made us feel comfortable and we were pros by the end. We got a sneak peak of photos the day of and she delivered the rest of the amazing photos shortly after. Highly recommend Katie - she was so fun to work with and has great style!

When we began wedding planning, photohraphy was one of our top priorities. We wanted someone who was easy to work with, and fun to be around as well. Having your photos taken can feel a bit awkward and posed sometimes, but Katie just has a knack for making you feel comfortable and relaxed! Our pictures came out more gorgeous than I could ever imagine, and I am floored by the (82!!) sneak peeks we got three days after our wedding, which was on a weekend she had three weddings. She captured exactly the look we were going for, got all the shots I wanted, and edited them beautifully. Acquaintances are coming up to me telling me they screenshot some of my photos to send to their photographers. Then, there's working with Katie. I had the opportunity to work with Katie three times: for a bridesmaids surprise photo shoot on our apple picking trip, for our engagement shoot, and of course our wedding day. Katie (and second shooter Ashley) were extremely thoughtful in making sure they captured all the shots we wanted. K+O are very talented and very professional. They were challenged with making us all look good even when our outside wedding battled temperatures around 103 degrees! The photos were gorgeous and working with K+O was easy. Where do I even start with K+O?! They were by far one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! I remember my first phone call with Katie, about a year before our wedding, she put me so at ease and I immediately loved her. She is so friendly and positive, but also super professional and really knows her stuff. After the call we booked them and scheduled our engagement shoot. My fiance and I were a little nervous before the engagement shoot because we aren’t used to having a ton of pictures taken… but who really is?! All the fears floated away the second we saw Katie at the park with her big camera lens and an even bigger smile! We had the BEST day and never once felt uncomfortable in front of the lens. It was so fun! The photos she took were stunning and she got them back to us very quickly! Leading up to the wedding day, Katie emailed the PERFECT questionnaire which made the whole photography part of the wedding a breeze. The couple months before your wedding can be a little crazy and hectic, so I loved that I could fill out this questionnaire on my own time and submit it once I was ready. Katie also offered to have a phone call or meet up to go over all the details if I wanted! K+O showed up at the hotel on my wedding day with the biggest smiles, best attitudes, ready to go! They were no doubt a ray of sunshine on our day. They are the perfect balance of “a positive person you want around” but also “super professional and getting stuff done behind the scenes.” Our wedding day was a little confusing with photos at four different locations. We did getting ready photos at the hotel, photos at the church ceremony, more photos at a farm down the street, and then the reception at another location. K+O knew the plan, kept us on schedule and everything was perfect! My bridesmaids and lots of guests at the wedding raved about them. And they had a sneak peek of our wedding ready within two days! I genuinely cannot say enough good things about K+O. If you are considering booking them for your wedding, trust me when I say it will be an amazing decision. I can guarantee they are only going to get more and more popular, so book them early if you can!

My husband and I clicked right away with Katie & Olivia during our consultation. We had the pleasure of working with them for 2 engagement shoots and our wedding day. They are both so kind and make their clients feel comfortable during the photo shoots. From the moment I spoke to Katie on the phone for the first time, it was an instant connection! I felt so comfortable with her, she understood my vision and it truly felt like I was talking to an old friend! They use HoneyBook, which was a super easy way for them to communicate with us via email, we got all of our pictures through there and it sent us friendly payment reminders, which is so helpful given the different vendors a couple works with during wedding planning time. When we first met them in person for the engagement shoot, it felt so natural and just...easy. They made the shoot so fun and their positivity and down to earth nature really helped my nervous fiancé relax and enjoy the process! The pictures came out AMAZING and they got hundreds of great pictures. We got so many compliments on our save the dates using one of the pictures from the shoot. A few months later, Katie convinced me to do the boudoir shoot (which was included in our photo package) which turned out to be an incredibly fun and empowering experience. I felt so comfortable with Katie given I was wearing close to nothing! The result was a beautiful hard covered book that I gave my now hubby as a gift the night before our wedding. Needless to say, he was VERY VERY impressed! The wedding day went off without a hitch, they were organized, timely and captured all of the pictures that were important to us. Katie was able to wrangle up our huge bridal party & family effortlessly for pictures. They were able to capture so many precious moments on that day! The turn around time for everything throughout our time working with Katie & Olivia was super impressive given the superior quality of their work. Everyone who has seen our pictures compliments us on how beautiful & professional they look. I can’t wait to frame & hang them all over our home. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a photographer for their wedding or any other special event. They are kind, warm, professional and some of the sweetest people you will ever meet. I had the pleasure of having K and O photograph my wedding and I couldn't be more thrilled! They were so energetic, engaging and were a huge part of making my day so perfect. They connected with the bridal party and family so well and even manged to handle the unruly groomsmen! They made the whole process form beginning to end so easy and were great with communication before the wedding. The photos came out better than I ever expected! I am in love with all of them. They are efficient and calm, and helped keep us calm and relaxed, too! We've used them for wedding photos and family photos, and will definitely be using them again in the future. I truly can't say enough about how amazing Katie and Olivia are. We were so lucky to find them to do our engagement and wedding pictures. Every minute spent with them was so much fun and our pictures came out absolutely gorgeous!! The fact that they guarantee a sneak peek the day after each photo shoot was incredible. Our wedding day was a bit rushed as we were behind schedule and no matter what was happening they handled every moment like the pros that they are and made us laugh and smile the entire time. I am sure many couples claim their wedding day was perfect...but ours indeed was. We were so fortunate to have Katie and Olivia! Not only did they capture our entire vision, but their direction and patience made us so comfortable. The duo is incredibly professional and worked well with our vendors. These two are hard workers! Even after a back to back wedding prior to ours, they were fresh, fun and had this ability to bring the best in all of us! Katie of K+O Photo took my engagement pictures and she is nothing but pleasant, professional, and engaging. She took the vision I had of a moody, forest engagement shoot and ran with it and she delivered amazing photos, beyond anything I had even dreamt was possible. I'm also incredibly camera shy and don't normally like any photos of myself, but she made me comfortable and worked some kind of magic behind the lens and for once, I loved pictures of myself.
