K. Lenox Photography: Light & Airy Wedding Photography

taking pictures. Kris has an amazing energy that made us feel so comfortable and have so much fun. The pictures were absolutely amazing. Communicating with Kris was always very easy and she made the process way less stressful. Our family and friends all raved about Kris and how much fun they had taking pictures on the wedding day. The pictures were perfect and we are so happy we used K. Lenox Photography for our wedding day.

re worried about feeling awkward in front of the camera, but she instantly made us feel comfortable; eventually, we were laughing and having so much fun that we forgot it was our engagement photoshoot. On our wedding day, she and Mike were an absolute dream team. They handled everything flawlessly—from corralling our families (some of whom didn’t show up on time and also don’t speak English well…), to helping a stressed-out groom and best man with their ties and boutonnières, to dabbing a sweaty bride’s face with their own shirts, to hyping us up and making us laugh when we started to get nervous before the ceremony. We so appreciate having had them on our side to help us through the day. It was also amazing to see how cooperative, respectful, and professional Kris and Mike were with our videographers (Hindsight Wedding Films, who we also recommend!). They all worked together seamlessly to make sure that they had the right shots, lighting, composition, etc. and we had nothing to worry about. You get so much more than a photographer when you book Kris. You get someone who will quickly respond to all of your questions, someone who will beautifully capture every moment of your day and help you relive it, someone who will handle snafus behind the scenes and you won’t even realize it, and someone who genuinely cares about you and will treat your day like it’s the most important event in the world.

h. She made sure to get to know us as a couple and what our needs and priorities were ahead of time and manager lots of moving pieces and stress day-of. Do not hesitate to book her!!!!

all day and she captured everything we could have ever envisioned. She truly made us feel so comfortable and like ourselves from the start. From our engagement session to our ceremony rehearsal (which is a huge plus that she attends if she can) to our wedding day, she made us feel so special. Our family and friends to this day are still raving about how amazing Kris and her second shooter, Michael, were on our wedding day! I also had the pleasure of working with Kris professionally in the wedding industry in Vermont and I cannot recommend her enough. She is a true team player & has a great overall vision and attention to detail. If you are looking for a light and airy photographer who will be your hype gal all day, Kris is your lady!!

er made throughout my entire wedding planning process. My fiancé and I were engaged for a year before we decided in September 2022 that we wanted to get married in December 2022. We had approximately 10 weeks to plan, and my biggest concern was being able to find a photographer that was available in a seemingly short amount of time. I saw Kris’s work through Instagram and immediately fell in love with the light and airy photos that she is able to capture. WE WERE SO LUCKY she was available for our December 3rd wedding. Kris is a very effective communicator; she sent us surveys and questionnaires to fill out so that when our big day came, she knew which formal family photos that we wanted, and kept everything organized and stress free. Watching her was literally like watching someone direct a play, formal family photos happened seamlessly and weren’t awkward because she had a plan. It was literally stress free for my now husband and I. It rained most of our wedding day but Kris was able to find so many gorgeous indoor photo spots for us to take couples/family formal photos. When the rain broke for a short period of time, she was sure to take my husband and I outside for some photos that we were SO happy we got! The quality of all the photos are fantastic. During cocktail hour and our reception, we have so many sentimental photos of us dancing with our parents, and some hilarious photos of our guests having the best time. Kris never missed a moment, and she was constantly checking in to make sure I wasn’t feeling stressed or overwhelmed. I don’t want to end this review without mentioning Kris’s associate photographer, Mike. Having both Kris and Mike there together as a team was the best decision; I feel confident that they didn’t miss anything. Having both of their fun, upbeat personalities there on our wedding day definitely made the mood feel so light and kept everyone happy and stress free. My husband and I now have an enormous gallery of the most precious photos that we can look back on. Again, having K. Lenox photography was the best decision we could have made.

r with her for our engagement photos was delightful, she immediately made us feel comfortable and important. On our wedding day she was calm and cool and was able to ease my nerves! She also facilitated a photo session with our big families with ease. She captured some amazing candid photos that we will truly cherish forever. Book her if you want simply stunning photos and to work with an easygoing responsive photographer!!

graphy. I can’t say enough about the beauty and quality of her photos. On the day of the wedding she kept us on track… and while she was working she managed to get amazing pictures without us even realizing she was there. Also, her attention to detail is superb…..especially with her knowledge of lighting and how that affects her photos. If you are looking for high quality… and pictures that reflect your special day and your special personalities we would highly recommend K Lenox Photography.

looking for a wedding photographer!

era and she made me look radiant. She is so insanely fun and even got my grumpy groomsmen to laugh and have a good time. I've looked at the pictures she's taken at the wedding every single day and have shared with everyone I know. Everyone loves it. Kris is an amazing human and an incredible photographer. Please hire her you!

f the best humans we know. Ever since booking with her, she treats you like family. She assisted us every step of the way in building our wedding day and she was always available to bounce ideas off of. Just an absolutely amazing resource to go to for anything wedding related. The wedding photos were GORGEOUS! I was stunned with how beautiful she made our day look and the way it was documented. Because of this process, she has become one of our closest friends and we can't imagine not having her in our life now.

nning she was an absolute pleasure to work with and we appreciate that she took the time to get know us and what was important to us. We could not have been happier with Kris’s work and could not have asked for a more lovely and fun person to work with.

ures and the memories of how much fun we had that day.

ou COVID). Kris communicated effectively with all the vendors and helped the day (and the planning) go SO smoothly. The wedding photographs came out perfectly us. Kris is all about the candid photos, which turn out to always be the best ones! She also accommodates for formal photos and photo lists if that is what you want. We LOVE Kris and we highly recommend using her for your wedding! We will have our perfect day beautifully captured in time all thanks to her!

and makes you feel so comfortable in front of the camera -even for camera shy couples like us. She is also a major blessing to have during the planning process and is always on top of things. She makes a killer timeline and is full of knowledge and advice from all of her wedding experience. Not only is she an incredible photographer, but she is such a wonderful and fun person to be around. Meeting her for the first time at our engagement session we knew we made the right decision. She is such a sweetheart! But she is also so down to earth, fun and just a good time all around. We loved her right away and could’ve talked over drinks the whole night (which we almost did lol). Even on our wedding day, our wedding party couldn’t stop talking about how absolutely awesome she was! Kris - thank you for giving us such beautiful photos from start to finish, and for being there for all the advice/questions/last minute craziness through the whole process. You brought so much fun and laughter to our big day and we couldn’t thank you enough! We will be recommending you over and over! - Cassie & Kyle

Her work is beautiful and she is a beautiful person. She accommodated us and offered help when we postponed our wedding due to Covid. She was responsive and organized and always one step ahead, but made sure we knew that we were in charge, that it was our day. We had a complementary engagement shoot at our venue which really gave us an opportunity to get to know her and see her style firsthand. She came to our rehearsal, and worked with the officiant to review the day of timeline. There was a 90% chance of rain all day on our wedding day, and Kris had a plan for indoor photos, and a big clear umbrella in case we needed it. She has such a positive attitude! We got lucky and had sunshine for the ceremony and we got all of our outdoor shots done before the rain. She was truly wonderful to work with and we are thrilled with how our photos turned out!

. She was not only the best photographer I could’ve asked for (please see our photos for reference lol), but I can honestly say she is such a down-to-earth sweetheart, and a forever friend. She is a ball of positive energy, and we just vibed so well with each other from the beginning. I knew she was the one from our first phone call. Of course, I immediately called my mom (who found Kris on The Knot) and admitted she was right, and I absolutely LOVED her! We both love wine, have loved ones with military backgrounds, and can’t help our natural potty-mouthed selves! She blended right in with my bridal party, and everyone was obsessed with her from the moment they met her! They all still talk about how they NEED her for their big day! She made Nick & I’s big day so easy, and she honestly went absolutely above and beyond. She is worth every PENNY and more if you ask me!! Even assisting me with the day-of- timeline and coordinating with the other vendors, was such a weight off my shoulders. Her photography style was exactly what I had always wanted. Light, airy, and truly in the moment. She has such a creative eye, and catches these small moments that most photographers wouldn’t even think twice about. Some of my favorite photos are just my husband and I having fun and being ourselves, not the boring pre-planned ones!! Also, Miranda Young of Miranda Young Photo (our second shooter) was such a sweetheart! She captured the most beautiful images and let us just have fun with it! Their styles are so similar and they both really know how to capture the most special moments. I seriously could write a book about my love for these ladies and how much they mean to me! They made our wedding day so easy and we’re seriously a part of our big party by the end of the night! Again, from the bottom of my heart, Kris & Miranda, thank you for everything! Can’t wait to see you again! Alyssa & Nick Johnson (06.26.2021)

0% worth it. We knew we wanted to work with her after spending half a second looking at the photos on her website, her talent speaks for itself. But, what we weren’t anticipating was what an important part of our wedding team she became. She immediately put our minds at ease during the initial call and asked all the right questions to get to know us as a couple and our vision for our wedding day. She is kind, funny, genuine, and EFFICIENT. She helped us through every step of the planning process (including rescheduling due to covid) and came up with a plan for all the pictures we wanted to capture on the day of the wedding. She went over everything with us and was so responsive to even the most ridiculous non-photography wedding planning questions. On the day of the wedding she somehow managed to wrangle our large and complicated families to quickly capture all of the formal pictures so that we could enjoy the rest of our day. After that, she was like a ninja and somehow captured all of the most amazing and beautiful candid photos while seamlessly blending into everything else that was going on, for most of the pictures I had no idea she was even there. The turnaround time for our gallery with all of our photos was incredibly fast and they are better than we ever could have imagined. Kris was hands down the best choice for a photographer.

ng! Kris was so helpful and great about guiding me to have an extremely successful day and plan. She will truly do whatever is in her human & superhuman photographer power to get you the most amazing shots! My husband and I were married on New Years Eve 2020 and I honestly don't know what I would have done with out her. Her personality & energy is so fun and just added so much to my day! She spent so much time and effort into planning and scoping out the perfect shots ahead of time! She set up an extremely thorough timeline with everything I asked for to help us stay on schedule and made sure we didn't miss anything. before the wedding day she was there for me to cry to, vent to, talk to, anything! She was everything! She was great about direction and getting everyone to cooperate also! Our families and wedding party were quite the group and hard to herd, but they were no match for Kris! With all that being said...if she had been an awful person person and grumpy all the time...I WOULD STILL HIRE HER AGAIN! Her personality and energy are the most amazing bonus and completely guided the energy of my perfect day, BUT our photos came out absolutely incredible. Having a winter wedding is not easy, but with Kris we get everything we wanted and more. She is so unbelievably talented I couldn't even believe it when flipping through our photos. 10 out of 10 hire Kris!!!! You will be so so so happy you did! She is the most amazing person and an absolutely incredible photographer! I just cant say enough wonderful things about this woman and her business!

on. She is a dream to work with! We also brought along our German Shepherd for the engagement session and wedding. Kris was so patient and Sam (our dog) loved her! Hurry girls, she books up fast!

reached out to Kris for my Hilton Head micro wedding and she responded instantly. Kris was SO responsive to all of my questions and changes I made throughout the process. When we spoke on the phone, she talked to me like a friend rather than a wedding a vendor. Looking back on my wedding, Kris seriously made the day SO much better. She embraced my family like it was her own and made everyone feel so comfortable! When my family and I talk about memories of the wedding day, Kris is always brought up!! The pictures turned out amazing and I favorited 90% of the 900 pictures we received! Literally best investment ever.

o we are, and what we wanted for our day. She was in steady communication from the moment we first talked to her all the way through the post-wedding production of our blog post on her website, our digital album, and our beautiful photo book, and she answered any and all questions right away and with great detail. Not to mention that her photos are STUNNING!! She perfectly captured all the wonderful emotions of the day, and we'll treasure these photos forever. We cannot recommend Kris highly enough!

now us. We brought our infant (at the time) daughter along for the engagement photos and she took incredible photos of not only us, but our daughter as well. When our wedding was postponed due to COVID a mere 3 days before our date, she called us immediately and showered us with well wishes and kind words and worked with us to make sure we were able to secure her for our new date in August. Her photos are beyond gorgeous and she captured the raw emotions from our big day effortlessly. We will definitely be using Kris again for any future photography needs. She has made huge fans out of not only us, but our families as well.

PHENOMENAL! There wasn’t one that we didn’t love. If we didn’t have a contract with a different photographer for our wedding next year, we would want her in a second. Thank you Kris for everything you have done for us. We are so grateful for you!

owing she’s there., We loved working with her for our quick micro wedding. She interacted with us many times prior with questionnaires & all the details. She was punctual & didn’t make us feel rushed at all. If we could get married over and over again we’d have her every time!

since that day, I knew she was going to be my photographer for my wedding (didn’t even have a boyfriend). Kris was the first vendor we contacted and the first vendor we booked with... we even changed our date because she was booked for our first choice. Our engagement pictures were incredible and were the first professional pictures we had taken as a couple. Neither my husband or I are good at being photographed but she made it so much fun and it wasn’t stressful at all. Kris is well organized and truly has a passion for her work and it shows. Her enthusiasm and excitement for capturing every moment is incredible. Our wedding day went by so quickly but we have those photographers that will last forever. We were beyond impressed by her organization and style on our wedding day. I can’t even begin to thank her for capturing such amazing photographs. I have never liked having my picture taken and looking back I truly feel beautiful. That day was the absolute best day of our life and looking back at the photographs fills our heart. Booking with K.Lenox photography was the best investment for our special day.

essional and is the absolute best at what she does. She went the extra mile the entire time. During our engagement shoot last winter she kept her van running to keep our dog warm while we were finishing up taking pictures. She was my ring leader the day of our wedding causing everything to flow effortlessly. I am still getting compliments from friends and family on how lovely kris was on our special day. I struggled creating our wedding album because I loved all of our pictures so much. The pictures really captured the story of our day. My husband, family and myself love Kris so much and consider her a new friend! We’re so grateful for her work, help and professionalism.

oments at our wedding and really captured the spirit of us. I know exactly where to go for any future photo needs, if I could give more stars I would.

f! First off my husband and I are not photogenic people so I was dreading the engagement photos and wedding photos that we would want to cherish for years, but could possibly screw up with awkward expressions and such haha. Kris made it impossible for you to ruin your pictures. She made everything so comfortable and allowed you to be yourselves with any props or outfits or picture venue that you desired. Another thing: the personality of your photographer totally matters!! They spend tons of time with you and your crew. Kris has such a fun loving genuine personality that every single person in the bridal party commented on how well she fit in with us and made photos easy. She also brought along Paul who we also loved!! Still two months out we are addicted to our photos and can see that in comparison to other photographers Kris is way above in the caliber of her work. Thank you to her and her team!

alking to her on the phone, we had a great connection and her funny personality won me over. She was so responsive and reached out and really wanted to get to know us as a couple. As far as the wedding weekend goes, Kris drove up to Kennebunkport for our rehearsal so she could meet everyone and check out the venue, which was amazing and I am so happy she did that (at no extra charge!) . She loves being on time and she is so organized - which is exactly what you need on your wedding day in order to get to fully enjoy it. We decided to do the first look and do family pictures first, because going to cocktail hour was main priority (HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND). We are very awkward people but she made it very comfortable and fun so the pictures came out amazing. The family pictures were nice and quick - she was organized and had a list of what pictures i wanted with what family members. Everyone was so impressed with how organized and awesome she was. Her second photographer, Miranda, was also amazing and i would highly recommend the 2nd photographer. She captured pictures of the guys getting ready, and for larger weddings i think its necessary to have both. Two days after the wedding, she had already posted a sneak peak so we could see some pictures, followed by a blog post with more! I received my gallery with all of the pictures within two weeks. I am SO obsessed with every picture- i just keep looking at them and crying!! I could go on , and on, about how awesome and talented Kris is, but i think you get the point!

hroughout the entire wedding and lead up events! She came to my venue for a walk through with some other vendors and we were able to discuss logistics for the photos and timelines. She also came to our games day and rehearsal party to meet everyone prior to the wedding! She created an excellent timeline for us to work with on the day of, and her and our second photographer, Paul, did an amazing job gathering everyone for photos. We did a post ceremony extended family photo shoot and they were able to organize everyone in such a timely manner that I was actually able to enjoy cocktail hour! She created an amazing blog telling our story, and captured all of the small details we wanted included in our day! I can’t recommend her any higher!!

r accessible and was always sure to reach out to me to see how things were coming along. She was a big help in planning the day of timelines as well as calming my nerves beforehand. She is so fun to work with and you are GUARANTEED to have a great day with AMAZING photos. 10/10 would recommend! Our day was even more special because of her. Thank you Kris!!!

he wedding. We were planning our wedding from overseas, which made things a bit complicated when it came to planning. That never slowed Kris down, however, and she did an excellent job managing all of the moving pieces prior to and on the big day. Arguably the best thing about Kris is the effort she puts into developing a meaningful relationship with her clients. She works hard to get to genuinely know the couple, which made the experience unique and personal. Our pictures reflect this rapport and the comfort we felt around her (and they are incredible!). We highly recommend Kris (and Miranda) for your special day!

zing personality. She was responsive from the first time I reached out to her, and was extremely organized from the consultation right down to getting our photos to us soon after the wedding. Her personality makes her really easy (and fun!!) to work with and definitely helps "loosen up" people who otherwise might not feel comfortable in front of the camera. I am so happy we decided to hire Kris for our wedding photos and feel that it was money very well spent.

g us that we were going to have a lot of fun! And that’s exactly what we did. She took us out for drinks and a bite to eat before our engagement session to loosen us up, which was so thoughtful and very effective LOL. Throughout the whole process, she was responsive, helpful and calming. She always went above and beyond the standard photographer call of duty. One thing I really appreciated is that she took the time and effort to get to know our guests during the rehearsal and the welcome party the night before our wedding. This made the day-of flow more seamlessly and ensured that she captured all of the most important people in our wedding. We love Kris and could not recommend her enough!!

dding photos. Highly highly recommend!

rt, Kris makes you feel like you're life long friends. Shes super bubbly, friendly, and easy to talk to. We absolutely loved working with her for both the engagement session (where we got together and had a couple drinks first!) and our whole wedding day. I won't go on and on about how great her photos are, because the work really speaks for itself - but let me just say, it is not only about the photos, it is about having someone by your side that day who is truly a pleasure to be around, and myself, my family, and my bridesmaids all could not say enough about how fantastic Kris is. My mom saw the photos after the wedding (blog post came super fast and we just about died of happiness looking at them on our honeymoon) and she said she assumed they were over $10k - nope! Great value for this lovely lady. I cannot thank you enough, Kris!

otally worth the investment. Thanks so much. Punctuality was great and just making the whole experience of photos fun, I am going to remember the day forever.

which ones to have printed is turning out to be a real struggle. As good as the quality of the photography is, the real gem in Klenox Photography is Kris herself. We met with Kris multiple times before our wedding- an introduction over drinks, our engagement session, a pre-wedding meeting over lunch, and numerous emails and texts. Each time we spoke with Kris she got to know us a little better through real conversations and stories, which made it easier for her to understand what we really wanted out of our wedding photos. She figured out that although I wanted to be glamorous and beautiful, it was really important to my husband and I that our photos capture our humor and lack of tradition as we celebrated. Kris is a super-talented photographer and delivers amazing high-quality photos through an easy to use client portal. She helped me create a registry that my guests contribute to in the form of photo gifts or money towards her fees, and she has made ordering prints a breeze- even helping with if and how to crop them. Superior customer service here!! If you want a photographer that is real, funny, professional and talented then Klenox Photography is worth checking out! If you hire Kris do your best to trust her and go with whatever she suggests. She won’t let you down! These were some of our comments from facebook. Dude. First. This is the most badass wedding photo I've ever seen. And: Congratulations 💖 I can't stop looking at it. It's EXQUISITE. I'd hang it on my wall...even if they were total strangers. 😂

to keep us smiling and posing through a zillion photos, even when we were getting a little antsy. Kris was also great at respecting our wishes to take as many photos as possible before the wedding ceremony so we could make sure to actually be in attendance at our own wedding. We love the photos we've seen so far and can't wait to check out the rest! I definitely recommend K. Lenox Photography to any couple, whether they're looking for something more conventional or a little different.

e wanted it. Our photos came out better than we thought possible. We cannot imagine our engagement and wedding without Kris and her team.

nt above and beyond to cater to our privacy needs. She voluntarily attended our rehearsal to meet our families before the wedding and returned our photos to us so quickly after the big day! Highly recommend!

work, and we decided to hire her after talking it was clear she was a true professional who got our humor and would be a perfect fit for us. She was hilarious and was excited with all the personal touches we were incorporating in to our laid back camp wedding. She knew what to ask us when we were 8 months out with no idea what we were doing, and helped us figure out the details as we got closer. She even came to our rehearsal to get to know our bridal party and help us coordinate before the big day. All our vendors loved working with her, and she did an amazing job getting us comfortable in front of the camera. And the photos were UNBELIEVABLE! We got a sneak peak within days and then a full set a few weeks later, and all the moments we wanted were captured beautifully. Everything about working with Kris was easy - 100% worth the investment. If you can, hire Kris now!
