I always want to provide my clients with beautiful images that capture the emotions and fun of the day, but I also want to do everything I can to help my clients ENJOY their wedding day with as little stress as possible, too. oducts provided to them – When Justin initially contacted me about receiving additional, unedited photos on 11/27, I sent a detailed response on 11/28 explaining my creation and editing process, and the potential reasons why I (or any photographer) might limit the number of photos they deliver to a client. Later in the day on 11/28 I received an Email from Leanne bringing up the points that were listed in her review. I have been on the road shooting several weddings since that time, and I wanted to wait until I returned home from this weekend’s wedding (12/11) to give Leanne’s message my undivided attention. “Kristin showed up 1 hour early to our apartment and didn't even let us know what her intentions were or let us know she arrived at our APT. We weren't even there when she showed up, we were setting up our venue.” ***My early arrival was not meant to be disrespectful in any way. My intention was merely to attempt to take some additional detail photos of your dress and accessories that I might not have time for otherwise. When I learned that you were at the venue finalizing the setup, I reassured the women in your apartment that I would simply work on the dress and accessories photos until you arrived.*** “Kristin did not ask myself or my husband what we wanted for a first look , didn't go over any poses that we wanted to do as B/G.” ***Upon arrival at the venue, I introduced myself to Justin, and I took him outside and explained the locations I recommended for the Family, Wedding Party and First Look Photos – These recommendations were based solely on the lighting conditions that existed that day. It is never my intention to force poses on my clients, which is why I ask before the wedding if my client has any specific photo requests. When I receive a client’s answers regarding their photo requests or photo style preferences, I absolutely take notes on any specific information/requests they provide to me. If a client doesn’t give me any specific requests before the wedding, I can only assume that they like the kinds of poses they have seen on my galleries, and they are trusting me to make suggestions/recommendations for photos.*** “and was very curt with me, my wedding party, and parents (all of whom asked what her problem was and where we had found her).” ***It is never my intention to bring or add tension into the day for anyone. If my demeanor was construed as terse by anyone, that was absolutely never my intention.*** “Furthermore, be prepared to not receive your entire catalog of photos...Kristin hand selects the ones she likes best, so if there is a photo that you might like better than her, you'll never know.” ***I often take multiple exposures of almost the same shot and later choose the best image from those similar photos. I know there are some photographers who prioritize the QUANTITY of photos that their clients receive – I want my clients to have QUALITY images that tell the story of their wedding day. Choosing the photos that tell a client’s wedding story is a subjective process, and I am sorry to hear that you did not fully agree with my decisions in this regard.*** “AND for the icing on the cake, after letting Kristin know we found her behavior on our wedding day unprofessional and were disappointed with our experience with her and our photos...she ceased communication with us. No apologies, no trying to make things right with us. Nothing.” *** I am sorry for the delay in my response, and I am very sorry to hear that my services did not meet your expectations, Leanne – I can only hope that some of the images you received illicit some positive memories of the fun, beautiful moments from your wedding day.***

It is also very humbling when a past client lets future clients know that my "wedding and photography experience" helped them not only during the planning process...BUT...it also helped the wedding day run smoothly, too.
