ganized. Kristin was so thorough during the planning process that we had absolutely nothing to worry about when the big day came! She printed out a check list of photos we wanted with family, inspiration photos we discussed and shared, and a general list of shots we were hoping to capture. We’ve only seen our sneak peaks so far, but they’re stunning!!! We can’t wait to see the rest of the photos - we know they’re going to be beautiful. Kristin is unbelievably talented and we’re so thankful that we found her profile and hired her for our wedding day!

Do NOT book Kristin for your wedding!!
If the Kristin that showed up on our wedding day was the same Kristin that we had been interacting with for months, this review would be very different.

Kristin did not ask myself or my husband what we wanted for a first look , didn't go over any poses that we wanted to do as B/G, and was very curt with me, my wedding party, and parents (all of whom asked what her problem was and where we had found her). Furthermore, be prepared to not receive your entire catalog of photos...Kristin hand selects the ones she likes best, so if there is a photo that you might like better than her, you'll never know.
AND for the icing on the cake, after letting Kristin know we found her behavior on our wedding day unprofessional and were disappointed with our experience with her and our photos...she ceased communication with us. No apologies, no trying to make things right with us. Nothing.

laining my creation and editing process, and the potential reasons why I (or any photographer) might limit the number of photos they deliver to a client. Later in the day on 11/28 I received an Email from Leanne bringing up the points that were listed in her review. I have been on the road shooting several weddings since that time, and I wanted to wait until I returned home from this weekend’s wedding (12/11) to give Leanne’s message my undivided attention.
“Kristin showed up 1 hour early to our apartment and didn't even let us know what her intentions were or let us know she arrived at our APT. We weren't even there when she showed up, we were setting up our venue.” ***My early arrival was not meant to be disrespectful in any way. My intention was merely to attempt to take some additional detail photos of your dress and accessories that I might not have time for otherwise. When I learned that you were at the venue finalizing the setup, I reassured the women in your apartment that I would simply work on the dress and accessories photos until you arrived.***
“Kristin did not ask myself or my husband what we wanted for a first look , didn't go over any poses that we wanted to do as B/G.” ***Upon arrival at the venue, I introduced myself to Justin, and I took him outside and explained the locations I recommended for the Family, Wedding Party and First Look Photos – These recommendations were based solely on the lighting conditions that existed that day. It is never my intention to force poses on my clients, which is why I ask before the wedding if my client has any specific photo requests. When I receive a client’s answers regarding their photo requests or photo style preferences, I absolutely take notes on any specific information/requests they provide to me. If a client doesn’t give me any specific requests before the wedding, I can only assume that they like the kinds of poses they have seen on my galleries, and they are trusting me to make suggestions/recommendations for photos.***

“Furthermore, be prepared to not receive your entire catalog of photos...Kristin hand selects the ones she likes best, so if there is a photo that you might like better than her, you'll never know.” ***I often take multiple exposures of almost the same shot and later choose the best image from those similar photos. I know there are some photographers who prioritize the QUANTITY of photos that their clients receive – I want my clients to have QUALITY images that tell the story of their wedding day. Choosing the photos that tell a client’s wedding story is a subjective process, and I am sorry to hear that you did not fully agree with my decisions in this regard.***

s when we had to quickly make a plan B for our ceremony due to weather conditions. Our wedding was in a family members backyard, so Kristin went around the property. She was able to give me not just one but a few different options to move our arch for a beautiful backdrop. There were huge wind gusts the day of our wedding but you can’t tell there was even the slightest breeze in our photos. Kristin was able to position us the most flattering ways and the results are gorgeous. She also made me feel extremely comfortable and confident during a few boudoir shots we did before I got into my dress. I can't say enough amazing things about Kristin. First of all, we contacted her to do our wedding that was only 2 1/2 months away. We had our wedding at an AirBnB; so we had no planner, no venue planner etc. Kristin really helped us determine...

Her communication with us was so clear, detailed, and she was quick to respond; it truly brought us ease and comfort and helped us feel more organized for the big day. On the actual day, she was not only our photographer, but the organizer, the creator, and even the seamstress. I had a very long train that was bound to be stepped on, which ripped out the button. lso noticed very early on she had a lot of experience and was very detailed-oriented, which I personally find important in a vendor. On the day of the wedding, she basically saved the day. Things completely unrelated to Kristin, we had issues with our venue and coordinator that cause some stressful issues through the morning and before the ceremony. She went WAY beyond her duties by helping me calm down when I got overwhelmed, stepping in coordinating things, and even meditating things between us and our coordinator. I'm forever grateful for those things and she by far was the best vendor we choose in the wedding process. On top of all of this, she was shooting pictures immediately, coming up with great ideas for photos, had a list to make sure we got all the pictures we wanted and the preview photos we got were AMAZING. I got SO MANY comments from guests about how great she was, not just with her photo taking but with how she also handled people and situations. I seriously cannot recommend her enough.

Then when the day got closer, she was amazing with helping us to plan our family photos and accommodating to the number of friend pictures we were requesting. Then the day came! Kristin came out to watch our rehearsal to meet our family and friends as well as work with the staff to make sure everything was set up to allow for the best angles for pictures. This was so above and beyond what she needed to do and we hadn’t even had our wedding day yet!
When the day had finally come, Kristin arrived at the bridal suite while we were still drinking our coffee and having a light breakfast. She shot from hair and makeup then moved to the groomsmen, first look, attendant and family pictures to the ceremony and into the reception. She was professional, kind and always there to help - even for things that were not related to her duties as the photographer. I loved Kristin’s take charge attitude too. I never once worried about my wedding day pictures. But also, it really felt like having another friend there rather than a person we found on theknot.
We got our pictures back yesterday and they were gorgeous and perfectly captured the day and all it’s spdcial moments.

b! Our wedding was in Hamilton, NY at the White Eagle Banquet & Conference Center. Kristin was familiar with the facility as she had photographed several weddings there. She gives you options of different photo packages to suit your need/style. Kristin travelled over an hour to meet with us, answer our questions and finalize all wedding photos about a month before the wedding. She is talkative and shares amazing stories and really tries to get to know the bride and groom on a personal level. Kristin met us at the White Eagle at 11 am on my wedding day (she will be there at anytime you request, as she is yours for the entire day!). She took photos of the bridesmaids and myself as we got our hair and makeup done. Kristin helped to settle my nerves and reassure me, even though it was raining, my wedding would still be beautiful. And it was. I cannot say this enough, but she truly is a jack of all trades. Not only was she our photographer, but she helped set up decorations, held my train as I walked across the muddy, wet lawn and helped bustle my dress. She picked out a spot in the facility for family photos, with my permission, to be prepared if it rained and we were unable to take them outside. And since the weather was not cooperating and it would be dark if my husband and I waited to take our own photos, Kristin suggested we do "first look" photos. I was not fond of this idea, but when we decided to do it, the moment my husband looked at me for the first time, it was such a special and private moment! And the pictures say it all! Kristin was well prepared and super calm when there are bumps in the day. After the wedding, she showed us "teaser" photos, and I was blown away! Can't wait to see the rest!

husband Andrew. She was my rock through out my entire wedding process- from planning all the way through the day of the wedding. She dealt with me and my multiple breakdowns, including a huge meltdown on the day of the wedding where she took me aside, calmed me down and helped me regroup.
Kristin is more then just a photographer, she really goes above and beyond. She helped me to feel confident enough to smile with my teeth in pictures when I have never had that confidence my entire life, she helped bustle my dress and she made our day absolutely perfect.
