Kelsey and her team were our SAVIORS on our wedding day. But, fortunately, the process actually starts waaaay before that. We met and booked Kelsey over a year out from our wedding...
because we were so impressed with her consultation phone call where she outlined everything she and her team do for their clients. She kept us organized with spreadsheets, deadlines, and checklists which made our lives a whole lot easier. Even as a person who is very organized, the reality is most brides & grooms have never planned a wedding before, so there is no way we would know exactly how to be organized. Kelsey and her team do. The day of our wedding was FLAWLESS. She was on top of our vendors (already coordinating with them weeks out), her team kept the wedding parties on schedule and out of eye sight, and all the decor/placement/timing was perfection. During the wedding there was always a drink in our hands, we had protection while we were eating (one of her assistants buffered while we ate!), and then at the end of the wedding, we did not have to lift a finger! This is not only because Kelsey and her team worked hard the day of, but is also owed to the incredible amount of preparation and organization she walks through with you weeks before hand. I seriously could not recommend this team any more; it's no wonder she won Best Wedding Planner in OC!!

everything. There was no last minute rushing around. April was with the girls as we got ready and kept us on track, without rushing, without making us feel overloaded. We didn't have to ask for anything twice. Everything was run calmly and efficiently. Their communication was never last minute. As the mother of the bride I didn't lift a finger! I was able to dance the night away and not worry about anything! Down to them loading my car at the end of the night with all the pictures, guest book etc. Kelsey made this day super enjoyable, super easy, and I appreciate her so very much!! Hiring her will be the best thing you'll ever do!!
While Kelsey did sell herself wonderfully over the phone 10 months before our wedding, once we actually began working with her, it quickly turned a bad corner.

hs since my wedding and I, honestly, am not ready to relive the experience I had with her prior to my wedding by writing it all here. She is the only vendor that I had guests talking about after the wedding in a negative way. Throughout the experience, aside from the day of the wedding, Kelsey treated me and those involved in the wedding with condescension and was entirely dismissive in many ways. She is also the only vendor that led me to have a literal panic attack two weeks before my wedding when she made it seem as though she would not be attending my wedding rehearsal unless we changed it to a day that suited her schedule -- a day that jumped around in her various emails.
If my venue had not required a coordinator, I would have cut ties with her a month before my wedding when the issues first began so that I could have cut out a ton of stress that came with her.
That way I could have also avoided the stress of being PULLED OFF the dance floor by her to report that the photobooth was missing a payment -- something that was expected for her to have ensured was taken care of prior to the day of the wedding.
I gave her 2 stars instead of 1 because she hires kind and helpful assistants and because she did actually show up the rehearsal and the day of. I unequivocally do not recommend that you go with this vendor.

ER, and for me… that vendor was K Sage. I chose to go with the associate planner package and had the honor to work with Darrian. Darrian is an incredibly smart and forward thinker, and just that alone made me so willing and able to trust in her to make our day fabulous. Not only did we get Kelsey’s supervision, Darrian’s execution, but a WHOLE TEAM of amazing interns/assistants who took care of all the small details. I even had an assistant all to myself, which I didn’t think I would need, but absolutely relied on the whole day. K Sage was the PERFECT vendor for us, and I would chose them again and again. Thank you for making our day better than we could hav e imagined.
