K. Vera Events/Nakia did all of the florals and floral design for our wedding. I found Nakia on Instagram after I saw she came highly recommended from a photographer whose work I follow. I hired this vendor way in advance of my wedding and being that all of my wedding planning was done throughout the various COVID-19 spikes, it was challenging to meet in person to discuss florals. I simply had to let go and trust Nakia to execute the vision I had for our wedding day—And let me tell you, Nakia surpassed all of my expectations! I told her what I wanted, the look I was going for and the color scheme and she did a phenomenal job bringing everything to life. Prior to our wedding date, Nakia was very understanding whenever I requested to make changes, and even on the day of our wedding when the weather was crappy, Nakia and her team were able to adjust the the last minute changes seamlessly. To this day I am so happy with how Nakia was able to masterfully create such beautiful arrangements and provide us with the bohemian theme that I had my sights set on since the beginning stages of wedding planning. Our guests raved about all the florals and details and thanks to Nakia, the venue we chose was beautifully enhanced even further due to her skills and talent. Certainly the best of the best! 5 stars! Highly recommend!

Nakia made my wedding dreams come true and then some. My flowers and decor were beyond what I imagined. I was in awe the whole night. We booked her more than a year in advance and when it got closer to the wedding, my vision changed from what I had originally planned and she reached out to go back over everything, knowing it probably would. She was 100% transparent with everything, replied to emails very quickly, clarified any questions she had with me, and worked her tail end off the day of the wedding. It started raining after the ceremony and she was out there taking down the arch to transform it into a beautiful half arch inside. I can go on and on about how wonderful Nakia and her team were. I am so incredibly grateful for all their hard work and attention to detail that made my wedding day something I will never forget. Thank you!!

Vendor was punctual, responsive to all correspondence with the mother of the bride, was very attentive, and resourceful. I could not have been more pleased with the service we received. I highly recommend this vendor.

We used Nakia as our day-of-coordinator and she was amazing. She is flexible, has great ideas, and is very professional. She made my day run smoothly and worked well with the host, caterer, DJ, and basically everybody to make sure things went well for us.

Very professional and punctual she was highly recommended to us because of the level of service and expertise that she brings. On our wedding day she went above and beyond to make our day very special and exceeded our expectations she came up with great ideas for the decor and was very detailed with her work. K. Vera Events provided amazingly beautiful flowers and décor for our wedding. Nakia listened to our vision and created something beyond our expectations. We wanted something organic and elegant that didn’t overwhelm us and the space. Nakia found the perfect sweet spot with colors that were layered and rich. We asked for our favorite blues and purples – not your typical summer wedding colors – and the arrangements had the depth of color we wanted with a hint of sweetness. Thanks to Nakia and her team for making our day special.

Nakia is a godsend! I think we met less than 5-6 weeks before my wedding . Time was critical and I was in a panic. She was professional yet personable. Her calm demeanor helped to reassure me . I wasn't a difficult bride, but I had no idea what I wanted. She has done this enough that she knew exactly how to pull these scattered thoughts out of my head and bring my vision to life. My reception was breathtaking. That is the word I heard over and over again from the guests. It was magical and she did that by herself(and her team) and with little help from me. It takes great talent to be able to do that! Thank you Nakia, it was magical!

You definitely need to see Nakia first- trust me. My venue was a little tricky and it definitely needed a “less is more” approach. On top of that, I had a very specific color palette and I was so worried about not being able to find very deep eggplant colored flowers in season without breaking the bank. It turned out that all my fears were unfounded and Nakia was able to deliver flawlessly. I’m so appreciative of all her work- I mean come on... eggplant colored ranunculus? Girl you did that! I’m so grateful for her patience with all my Pinterest photos and for being so easy to work with. You can tell that she truly loves what she does as everything looked soooo beautiful!!

Nakia was the best person to work with she was very attentive, prompt, and professional. Words cannot explain how she made my vision and fantasy come to life. She went above and beyondin so many ways, even meeting me at one of my dress rehearsals, to accommodate my requests, and made sure she improvised on things that were impossible to assure I was satisfied. I could go on and on but i thank God that I chose her and her personality makes you feel like we've been friends for years , she's realistic but understanding. She made my day very special!!

They made my May 20, 2017 wedding everything that I hoped for, and so much more! Everything was amazing...I know it, my husband knows it, and ALL of my guests keep reminding me of this! The professionalism, and spot on florals and decor, that they provided made me the happiest bride in the world. I mean it! I was so happy to see how they brought my vision to fruition. Nakia were recommended to us by someone who previously hired her for their wedding planning. This was the best decision I have ever made. I was living in the United Kingdom and had a wedding in Miami, Fl. Nakia as been there for us every step of the way. She gave me exactly what I desired. My fairytale/royal wedding were stunning. All my guest were impressed with the quality of the work provided by K Vera. I would recommend her to anyone who want an organised and professional wedding planner.

Our day was simply put gorgeous!!!!! She did an amazing job we Recieved soooo much compliments on the decor I was even shocked at how much the guests pay attention to details. Nakia was excellent!! I really enjoyed working with her. The flowers turned out just beautiful. All of our guest could not stop talking about how great everything looked. It has been 3 weeks and people are still talking about the décor and are posting pictures. Everything looked very elegant and classic and expensive eve though we didn’t spend a lot of money. I was really happy that my vision came to life. I really only had 1 meeting with Nakia since I lived out of state and she was able to pull off a fantastic wedding with very little direction. She really understood what I wanted and it was fabulous and she worked within our budget. I would definitely recommend K Vera Events to anyone who needs a florist and event design!
