tion. We had one meeting with DJ Jordan beforehand to work out the details. He was incredibly responsive via email and text, even with one change that we made the morning of the wedding. He responded immediately. I can't say enough wonderful things about DJ Jordan. We told him the majority of our guests are in their early 30's, so we wanted a mix of 2010's music as well as current music. Everyone was out on the dance floor - older relative/parents' friends all the way to my middle school-age cousins, and everyone in between. His equipment and lighting were incredible. ntly. For one, we couldn’t hear our fun recessional song over the clapping of our 70 guests, but that may have been because it was Sean’s first time at the venue. Secondly, when we were introduced at the reception, we were introduced as “Mr. and Mrs. his-first-name his-last-name” despite specifically requesting to be introduced as "Mr. and Mrs. his-first-name and her-first-name couples-last-name". But overall, those are small details.

Some vendors charge a significant amount for travel based on certain mileage, I thought K2 would was very reasonable with their options and their pricing packages! Don’t hesitate to also share your vision for your special day. They are experienced, knowledgeable, and also wanted to help in any way they can. Covid, of course, brought challenges and even a new venue and set up for our wedding. Amy and DJ mike were so helpful and were able to accommodate and update information efficiently. Do no be hesitant to say what you don’t want played at your wedding or if you want to change up the typical timeline. DJ Mike was helpful during our virtual meeting, he provided helpful suggestions for things I was on the fence about, and because of his experience, he definitely opened my eyes to some different perspectives. When it came to the actual wedding day, I couldn’t be more impressed with DJ mike. His tone, demeanor, personality, and style was the best fit for our wedding. He is super talented and absolutely enjoys what he does! I was amazed by the creative ways he incorporated such a variety of music style requests we had. After the event, I had other vendors and even guests ask who he was and what company he was with!!! I believe this is always a good sign of a wonderful vendor and even DJ! Not only did he play music, accept requests, and DJ the night away, he consistently was involved with us as a couple - making jokes, laughing with the crowd, and being sure to pump the dancing up (especially for the bride). Despite his car breaking down the moment he pulled into the venue, he never lost his cool. He had a calm head and developed a plan with our coordinator to get to the ceremony site. I had no idea this had happened, but all I know was everything was exactly how it was supposed to be from the moment I showed up to the ceremony until we did our sparkler send-off! Before our wedding I was trying to find a specific instrumental song for our ceremony and kept coming up empty handed. Mike went out of his way to send me several links until we found the song that I had envisioned. During the wedding, Mike was always in communication with the photographer, event staff, and wedding coordinators. He made sure that we were always taken care of... he even served my husband and I our food at the reception! We left the cocktail hour music and dinner reception music up to him and we received so many compliments! We loved his choices! If you're looking for a DJ that keeps the dance floor going, look no further. We had a small wedding of around 80 people, and he managed to keep the dance floor going for over 2 hours (which was one of the most important things to me when I was looking for a DJ). We were sad when the music stopped and the night ended! I would highly recommend K2 Productions and DJ Mike. They are incredibly easy to work with and really listen to you so that you can have the perfect wedding experience.

y the DJ / emcee search was a bit delayed and underdone. Nevertheless, I was assured by Amy that all DJs within the K2 Productions team were highly skilled and capable. The planning process went smoothly enough - I previewed Troy’s highlight reel prior to hire, uploaded my desired song choices to the online planning form(s) and met with our DJ approximately two weeks out from the wedding. Though stressing that I desired the *exact* versions of those listed on my forms (for the ceremony), I received a text message the *day before our wedding* from Troy, indicating that he could “not locate” a given song. I should note that I’d already informed our DJ that all song selections were readily available on iTunes. When speaking to him about the issue he, however, stated “Oh, I didn’t even think of checking iTunes.” - (Insert puzzled look here) - What was perhaps *most* egregious is that he COMPLETELY BOTCHED our introduction at the reception. Our last name is arguably a tongueful, but I’d provided for him a phonetic spelling AND he recorded pronunciations during our in-person meeting. Even still, he tripped over our name, came to a full-stop, had to restart again, and stuttered the whole way through (in front of all of our family and friends). SO DISAPPOINTING & AWFUL! The final straw was Troy leaving his DJ station and coming to find my husband and I to essentially ask “Can I go home now?” (a full half hour before his contracted service time was up). Needless to say, this was not a good experience.

Mike met with my daughter and me several weeks prior to the event and spent time going over all the details with her so that he would know just what kind of music and party she and her groom would be hoping for and they were extremely happy with the outcome. Our contract also included strings of Edison lights hung from the rafters and uplighting around the room all of which added a really nice feel to the evening.
