Katie was so kind, professional and does amazing work! She was the perfect videographer where you really didn't notice she was there but she got all the important and beautiful shots. She was also so responsive and organized leading up to the wedding day!

Katie of Kadence Films was a dream!!! We wish we could give her more than five stars. What stood out to us about Katie from the start was that she was dependable, flexible, easy going, and thoughtful. After we met with her and talked about our story and upcoming wedding, we felt at ease knowing that she would capture our day (/weekend) with a genuine and candid lens. We also felt confident that she understood how important the video footage was to us. She took the time to listen to how important certain parts, and people, of the weekend were to us. Her professional, conscientious, and laidback approach made us feel comfortable and natural during all the special moments throughout our weekend. She coordinated seamlessly with vendors including our photographer and venue staff. We were absolutely ecstatic to receive our videos which have been helping us relive many moments from that weekend. Our friends, family, and even those who were not at the wedding have complimented Katie's work once they have seen it on social media. We are truly grateful we got Kadence Films for our wedding. Katie was absolutely incredible. She was on time and stayed for the whole wedding. She was able to capture every aspect of our wedding. The photographer would pose us and Katie would record it, so there wasn't any time wasted. The final product looked amazing and although I am biased, because it was my own wedding, I think her short film was better than any I have seen online from other videographers. I also got edits of every individual part of the wedding: ceremony, reception entrance, speeches, our shoe game, first dances, parent dances, cake cutting, etc... I have every part of our wedding on video that I can now watch forever. Highly recommend her.

Katie is hands-down THE best videographer we could’ve ever imagined to have for our wedding day! My husband and I were initially on the fence about video for our wedding, when prioritizing our spending, we didn’t know if we saw value in having video captured compared to other vendors we needed to book. I leaned more towards having it and Kyle was unsure. Of the videographers we had looked through their work seemed okay but was wildly expensive. Halfway through our wedding planning process, my friend was the Maid of Honor in her sister’s wedding and video was captured on their wedding day by Katie. My friend showed us the short film and I cried with emotion throughout the whole video and I didn’t even know this couple! The video captured was powerful, beautiful and SO professional. I instantly asked for her contact info and went to her website to price out packages. To my surprise the pricing of everything I would look for in a videographer seemed much more attainable than others in the area AND her work seemed to come at a higher standard than those others – now my conversation with my at the time fiancé went much differently as he could see how talented Katie was and the price was right. So we booked her. Fast forward to our wedding day, Katie was with us for our whole day, from the hotel to the venue well into the night. However, one of my husband’s main concerns with video was that he would feel awkward in front of the camera, yet never once did we feel uncomfortable or felt like we were being filmed. Katie worked quietly and discretely to let us have our personal moments with raw emotion, we both hardly even noticed she was there – yet she captured every single detail possible. She worked so well with our photographer who she hadn’t met prior to the day-of, which made everything seem so seamless. A few weeks after the wedding, we received our video breakouts of the special moments (first looks, ceremony, dances, speeches, etc). It’s SO nice that she captures these and then breaks them out with labels so they’re all easily found and watchable without having to sift through tons of footage. Then a week later, we received THE BEST video we have ever seen – our short film. 4:26 seconds of pure happiness. Katie did an outstanding job capturing every single detail of the entire day, and compiled the clips into the most meaningful collection of scenes. She directed amazing shots of the details and did slow-mo on our guests’ fabulous dance moves. She used a tripod with one camera to capture one angle and then would hold another at a different so you felt like you were watching from everyone’s perspective. The song choices she added to the video show our personalities perfectly and to top it all of the drone footage was the cherry on top of being able to remember this day in all of its glory. I ABSOLUTELY recommend doing video for your wedding, as we’ve come to learn how powerful it is to watch your short film back and how video captures the day in a way that still photos just cannot – and not just any videographer I ABSOLUTELY recommend Katie at Kadence Films to be the person who will capture it so perfectly. I’ve already have multiple people say how this was the best wedding video they’ve seen and had others reach out to me separately to get her info so they can contact her for their wedding. Thank you, Katie – we will cherish these videos forever!!
