First of all, her photos speak for themselves her style is truly special and tells a story. From the first time talking with Kadi I knew she was unique. She asked about our story, what was important to us on our wedding day and shared a full gallery of photos from past weddings. It was never a push or a sales pitch frankly because she doesn't need it to be. When we did our engagement photos it was like meeting an old friend, she is corky charismatic and has excellent music taste I might add. Which translates so perfectly in her photos, getting us in our more natural state. Now when it came to the wedding day I knew she was going to do an amazing job as she did for the engagement photos but the photos and day really exceeded all expectations.  She somehow managed to capture every moment and more while making sure we were enjoying ourselves living in the moment on our wedding day. She brought us water, margs, apps, and even bustled my dress. When I say she can do it all I mean it. I was uncertain on where to do the first look the day of and Kadi scouted out places which took the stress out of it. When we got our wedding photos back I couldn't have been more pleased, she told our wedding day story perfectly. I love how authentic they are, sure she can snap the family photos and portraits but it is so much more than that. I truly can't recommend Kadi enough, we love you!

I hired Kadi for my March wedding at Rancho Las Lomas and she was great!! We had unexpected rain and a whole bunch of family chaos and she truly kept me sane. She was organized, professional and on time. I got my photos back in april/may which is a great turnaround considering she also got married in that timeframe! My photos turned out stunning, it was so difficult to choose one for my thank you cards!

We had a backyard wedding but our number one investment was photography (bc the day goes by so fast and we wanna look back on it for the rest of our lives) and we're SO glad Kadi was our photographer! I am so so glad we found Kadi. Of all the things that went into our wedding, we knew we wanted to invest in a great photographer to capture the day. We've never had professional photos taken of us before, so we were a little nervous that we'd feel uncomfortable. I was also worried that we wouldn't be able to find a photographer who didn't overly edit or filter every picture and that we wouldn't look like ourselves. But then! We found Kadi. The wedding day goes by so fast and there are are so many little moments that you can't possibly stop to enjoy, but having a good photographer helps capture those little and big moments all together. This review is long overdue! Kadi is an absolute dream, stop your search and book her, you will not regret it! We had to move our wedding date and our original photographer wasn't available and we were lucky enough to be referred to Kadi. We hadn't met her in person and right away she made my husband and I very very comfortable and is honestly just fun to be around. First and foremost she us honest and upfront. When we emailed her to see if she was available she sent us multiple galleries to look through so we could have a sense of her style and not be limited to an instagram page full of flattering filters. From the start she was just so easy to work with and that is exactly what you want when planning a wedding. Fast forward to the wedding...she was the MVP! She was our photographer, coordinator, and moral support :) She would ask me if I needed a drink, held my garter till it was time to throw it, and helped make sure things flowed smoothly. She went above and beyond and I cannot thank and recommend her enough ! Truly our wedding wouldn't have been as amazing as it was without her!!! Next, her photos are STUNNING! She has an amazing eye and produces these beautiful photos. But what almost seems more important than her ability to take a great shot is her ability to make you feel comfortable. My husband and I are both not fans of being in front of the camera but she made us feel so comfortable and that is what you want from your photographer. Please please do yourself a favor and book Kadi, it will be the best decision you make.

Kadi Tobin is THE GREATEST PHOTOGRAPHER IN THE SOLAR SYSTEM! I mean it, she would legitimately find a way to deliver the best photography even if you asked her to shoot on the moon. Kadi's incredible artistry and aesthetic made it a complete no brainer for selecting her as our top pick to photograph both our engagement session and wedding. We were ecstatic when the dates worked out and we couldn't have booked faster! From our very first consultation call, Kadi took the time to connect with us, get to know us as a couple, learn about our vision and the wedding we wanted to have. She's friendly, laid back, and a clear expert in her craft. She doesn't ask you to pose awkwardly and knows how to read the room and the couple and find out how to make you comfortable, so you are your best self in your photos. In fact, she keeps a speaker attached to her hip and plays music so you can get into your groove! More than anything she delivers - ABOVE AND BEYOND! For our destination wedding, Kadi was proactively scouting locations, even helping us plan our ceremony timeline and family photograph lists. One the day of Kadi was a joy to work with. Her direction, expertise, and calmness helped everyone (including extremely shy family members) feel relaxed, comfortable, and confident. Not to mention we had a last minute second shooter cancellation (to no fault of Kadi's) and she somehow managed to be in two places at once ensuring we got every shot we wanted. And AHH!! THE PHOTOS!! The photos exceeded our expectations on every level!! We Knew the photos would be beautiful, based on her work that we've previously seen, but we had no idea just how incredible they would be. The way she perfectly captured our essence as a couple and all the emotions expressed from our family and friends will be cherished forever. We love how her photographs have an untraditional yet timeless feel. These are definitely not going to be your average wedding photos. Kadi and I met in college and I knew the second I got engaged, I need to book her as my wedding photographer. Her eye for capturing all the little moments is incomparable. I don't even know where to begin! To say that Kadi is amazing is an understatement. My husband and I felt an instant connection with Kadi after our initial call and knew she was the one for us. Not only are Kadi's photos incredible, but she is fun and goofy person. Kadi had great ideas for our engagement shoot and really listened and incorporated what we were hoping to capture. When choosing vendors, I did a LOT of research into photographers because photos mattered more than anything to me! I am very happy I went with Kadi! Kadi isn't just a typical wedding photographer. She is very artistic in the way she arranges a photo. She is also very friendly and fun to work with. Before our engagement photos, my husband and I had never taken any professional photos in our lives so we were very nervous, but Kadi made the experience fun. Having an engagement session with her helped us be more comfortable taking photos on the wedding day. I would recommend Kadi to anyone without hesitation. Kadi’s lovable, fun personality made the day so much better! She took amazing photos and made all my photo visions come true. I had a lot of ideas (eating ice cream, band t and undies running across the highway, bathtub champagne photos, and swinging my extensions on the dance floor) and they all turned out AMAZING. During my initial consultation with Kadi, I knew she would be the perfect fit for our wedding day photography. Not only does she have stunning photos that speak for themselves, but she gives off really fun and positive energy, and is very quick to laugh, so I knew that I would feel relaxed with her on the big day. The day of she was prompt, organized, and I didn't have to worry about a thing. My husband and I were so in the moment and just had so much fun posing for her. She had our favorite music station on for bridal party photos which kept spirits high and we didn't feel rushed at any point. She was also incredibly attentive to me personally, fixing my hair, my veil, making sure I was hydrated, and checking in with me throughout the day. I really don't think we can say enough about how great Kadi is as a person and photographer. Due to the unforeseen circumstances of COVID-19 and having to change our date, our original wedding photographer was unable to work on our new date. She recommended Kadi to us. What an amazing recommendation that was. Although we only started talking to Kadi about 6 weeks before our wedding date, she was amazing and helped us in so many ways. We had a number of video chats and were able to iron out so many details about our wedding that we hadn't even considered. She was so personable and accommodating and really made sure that we got the type of photos and style of photos that fit our vision. On the day of our wedding, she absolutely killed it. We have only seen a few selected photos thus far while she edits the rest, but we were in tears and completely blown away. Every shot we have seen so far was beautiful. Of course taking the photos was a breeze. She knew exactly what she would like us to do and very clearly communicated that to everyone taking photos with her. She worked extremely well with some of the unruly kids at our wedding as well. She seemed to be able to capture every single aspect of our wedding, but was never in the way. On top of that, Kadi went above and beyond and was assisting the wedding party with the small details to make sure the wedding went off without a hitch. Kadi is really a wonderful person and made our wedding photos look absolutely stunning. I cannot be happier with Kadi and would highly recommend her to shoot photos for anyone who wants high quality work.

We LOVED using Kadi as our photographer. Like many couples recently, our wedding plans were altered by COVID. Kadi was so flexible as our plans changed. Instead of shooting our wedding (which was in a different location than originally anticipated and MUCH smaller due to COVID), she did a post-wedding photo shoot in our full wedding attires (since we didn't wear for our mini wedding). While we had never met in person before, we all hit it off and had a blast! She has the BEST personality for a photographer - so so fun. And...her pictures!? she's an insane photographer and has the best eye!! 10/10 recommend and 10/10 would use her again. Thank you Kadi!! you're the BEST!!!

Kadi was beyond incredible throughout our entire wedding planning process. We were unfortunately a Covid couple, which meant our wedding and all of the details that went with it were changing constantly. Throughout it all, Kadi never made our changing plans feel like a problem or an inconvenience to her. In fact, when we found out our original venue cancelled on us, she instantly wanted to jump on a call with us to give us ideas on where we could take our wedding plans. Mind you, Kadi was also going through her own cancelled/ postponed wedding due to Covid, yet she always made our wedding feel like her number one priority. When our wedding size went from 200 friends/family to 14 immediate family members only, we no longer felt the need to have a wedding planner, which made me a little nervous. However, Kadi helped us coordinate everything on the day of our wedding and she truly made the day go seamlessly. On top of all of this, all of her photographs were so beautiful. She somehow made my husband and I feel totally comfortable getting our photographs taken (which couldn’t be further from our norm). It really felt like she was a good friend that we had known for years. She caught all of the candid, intimate moments perfectly and my entire family loves the photos she captured of us all. I will cherish them and the experience forever, and we fully intend to use Kadi for any and all special moments going forward! She truly is one of a kind and so so talented. We cannot recommend her enough.

We were devastated after moving our wedding three times due to covid and finally canceling. We ultimately decided we just wanted to be married and had a two-person ceremony. Kadi made it feel so special and romantic despite having very little to work with in terms of scenery and schedule. Kadi saved the day so many times, I lost count. She really put us both at ease and we ended up just having fun, which was the goal. I can’t wait to see the full album!

Very professional, very fun, and very creative. She constantly reminded us that it was our day and kept us calm and encouraged us to be silly and have fun. We wanted to take photos on the top of a hill that required some hiking thru some steep rocky hill side with overgrown bushes and she didn't hesitate for a second! Everyone was photographed having a good time in a very natural state. We were blown away when we received all our pictures. Would chose her again if had the chance.

I could not ask for a better wedding photographer. Not only is Kadi extremely professional but feels just like a brides best friend. Someone that you have known for many years! We took our photos in Jalama Beach, a spot that is so special to us, and Kadi's work made me fall even more in love! If I could upload a wedding photo, they would speak for themselves. Kadi is super talented as you can tell from her portfolio. Aside from that she was a joy to work with. She was able to capture all the moments in our wedding honestly and beautifully. We had high expectations and they were exceeded when we saw our photos. Admittedly it’s a little hard to be present on the day of the wedding with all the schedules and moving parts to coordinate but I teared up when I saw our album because it brought me back to the day without the stress.

There is so much to say about our wonderful experience! I never thought it was possible for pictures, especially those with my face in them, to bring me such joy! Kadi was able to produce photographs of us that I cannot stop staring at! As cliche as it sounds, her approach truly captured the essence of our relationship: the devoted husband and the sassy wife. She was able to capture us in moments that depicted love, laughter, and fun; she was able to do this while at the same time making us the main focus despite the breathtaking setting--a setting that she recommended, scoped out, and took advantage of in order to produce magnificent pictures. I am very grateful for this, as I suggested a park. A park! If you need guidance, Kadi knows what to do! She will help you find the best setting, impromptu props, and she is very accommodating, fun, and professional. My husband and I had so much fun throughout the entire session, and it was all thanks to Kadi! Her work is phenomenal and she makes the entire experience very memorable and enjoyable.

Kadi was so accommodating & patient. She got along with everyone in our group and it felt like she was part of our family. She took the time and energy to meet with us multiple times before our wedding to really get to know us and understand our love. Her photos are mind blowing, she really knows the best compositions/angles to capture just the right emotions for each shot. We had a blast with her!

Outside of her incredible abilities as a photographer, Kadi dedicated so much time and energy to helping us work through the logistics of planning our elopement during a pandemic, in a place we had just moved to, that was experiencing the worst wildfire season on record. There are not enough positive accolades in the english dictionary to describe Kadi Tobin. As with many covid couples, our plans changed multiple times throughout the course of this year and Kadi was there every step of the way as a confidant and friend to talk through all of our options. I'd imagine the wedding planning process is always filled with a myriad of emotion, but having to cancel not one but two weddings took a major toll on our confidence. Kadi was there to help us drum up a new plan, offering suggestions of places she's visited, other locations she'd shot at, or just spaces that felt like "us". When we opted to pull of our wedding a third time, this round with just 5 guests, Kadi was 100% on board. By the end of the day she felt like family to us all and we welcomed her in with 6 foot distanced open arms. I can't say enough good things about Kadi, she captured our day perfectly and gave us sneak peek photos just days after we said I do. This girl is the real deal and our wedding day just wouldn't have been the same without her!

We had a wedding during the pandemic and while we had to change to a very different ceremony and reception (from 100+ guests in a big venue to just our immediate family in a small chapel/backyard), we are so, so happy that Kadi was there to capture it all. She is seriously the best photographer and was the perfect addition to our intimate, emotion-filled celebration! During the day she seamlessly integrated into our day. My family even thought she were a friend of ours that joined us for the day, not knowing it was our first time meeting in person! Her talent/eye for incredible shots + personality are why we booked her and it was the best decision. I also appreciate her so much for stepping in to help in all the big and little ways, putting on my veil, being flexible with our 2-year old son, helping with my dress bustle, helping me fix my tear-smudged makeup, capturing all the details, making us laugh and feel so comfortable during our lake-side shoot. A few days after the wedding she sent us some highlight photos and they ARE ABSOLUTELY beautiful! I keep looking at them thinking wow that really happened! What a dream. We cannot say enough about how much we loved working with her. And the best part of it all - we moved our big reception to next year and Kadi of course will be there as our photographer again! Kadi is incredibly professional and extremely creative. She did a great job coaching us on how what to do and provided us with some insightful tips on what we could do to make our pictures both look better and feel natural. Our time with her felt like hanging out with an artistically talented friend. Some of her ideas to get certain shots were hilarious and yet somehow they always worked!? I highly recommend Kadi to anyone who is looking to take a variety of fun and aesthetically pleasing pics. We had a great time with her and we're VERY HAPPY with how the photos turned out. We worked with Kadi for our engagement photos and our wedding day. She is an incredibly talented photographer and I cannot imagine anyone else being such an integral part of our wedding. Kadi is based in Southern California but was super open to traveling where ever we wanted for our engagement session and for the wedding. She was always available to talk or text or email when our plans changed or she was coming up with a timeline for our day, which changed so many times as we made adjustments to the wedding because of COVID. She worked really closely with us leading up to both shoots to get a feel for what we wanted and what our vibe was. For the engagement shoot, she helped me pick out outfits and plan locations. For the wedding, she mapped out a timeline for the day and made sure we stuck to it, but also made sure to flag us down as opportunities for good light or interesting spots came up. She delivered our preview pictures within 48 hours and they are nothing short of breathtaking. More than anything, we felt incredibly comfortable with Kadi. Neither my partner nor I are used to being the center of attention or being in front of a camera, and Kadi made us both so at ease that it really felt natural and fun. You can tell that we feel great in the photos, which never felt posed or stiff. I’m in awe of Kadi’s talent, and would never hesitate to recommend her to any bride in the US!

Kadi absolutely blew my mind with how creative, calm, prepared and fun she was! She gracefully makes sure to get all the shots in without making the bride or anyone else feeling stressed - even if it’s time to rush. She is great at directing people during the shoots as well, we all had a blast with her direction and ideas! If you’re worried you or your wedding party are uncomfortable behind the camera - believe me - she will make everyone feel like they know what they are doing. And everyone will be laughing as she uses the little tricks up her sleeve that get everyone in the mood for an awesome wedding day. What I think makes Kadi really special is her attention to every single moment that’s happening around her. She notices when there is a beautiful moment that needs capturing - even if her back is turned, I swear, she feels the moment and turns around to find it and capture it! A sixth sense. This is a special gift that makes her amazing at her job. In the end, I couldn’t believe how well she captured the energy of the wedding I was in (I was maid of honor). The action shots, the planned shots, the shots of the decorations...all of the pictures were just...fantastic. If you hire Kadi, you’re hiring someone who exudes the love and excitement you want with you on your wedding day, seriously, she is a gift.

I would recommend Kadi to photograph any love story. Kadi was able to draw out the silliness between my fiancé and I; our engagement shoot would have been nothing but awkward otherwise. My fiancé and I aren’t those who know what to do in front of a camera, but we do love each other and enjoy laughing together; Kadi was able to coax it all out, witnessed and captured our relationship through stills. She allowed us to feel like ourselves, and she was also able to put us at ease even while giving us directions that made us feel silly; all in the name of great photography. I love the moments she captured, she knew how to direct us to get those shots, and she is all around a great human being.

Kadi is the best! She took our engagement photos in Zion national park last year. She really made my camera shy partner feel comfortable and the photos turned out amazing. She is incredibly hands on in the process as well. She helped with styling, timing, and location suggests. She’s really knowledgeable and experienced and I think that is so evident in the work she does and the time she spent with us and on our photos. The second we met Kadi, we knew we had to have her at our wedding. My husband can get anxious in front of a camera, but Kadi made us feel like we had known her for years and that comfortability came across in every photo. Kadi was our wedding photographer for our 2019 nuptials in New Orleans - she was such a trooper and came all the way out from San Diego for our special day and braved the brutal southern heat to take our amazing wedding photos. She also did our engagement shoot (which for me was the test to see if we could even really have a wedding photographer as my husband doesn’t love his picture being taken and we both don’t love the cheesy vibe that some sessions turn out to be). We have grown so attached to Kadi that we truly can’t think of anyone else to mark our milestones so we even booked her for our maternity shoot (which happened the other week at a socially distanced beach) and we’re hoping we can have her take new born pictures of our little one when he arrives this fall. It was super important to me to make sure that whoever was chosen to take our engagement and wedding photos felt like an actual guest at our wedding - like she was just there to be apart of our special day and it’s safe to say that Kadi is like family now! We couldn’t recommend her enough and we’re so thrilled that she’s so engrained in our lives!

Her planning is A+. For our engagement shoot, she helped with every detail of styling and location planning. She even helped me with shopping advice! Her demeanor is two thumbs up. She’s professional, down to earth, hilarious, kind and calming. She’s such a joy to spend time with (especially when its a long day of shooting)! Her team is just as fantastic as she is. For our wedding, she brought along gal-pal and talented photographer Stefanie Keeler (for whom we also are so grateful). Their work was so cohesive that it never felt like two separate styles. Speaking of the wedding…Kadi was an absolute treasure. She was there in times of need to either capture photos, lend a helping hand or just be there for a giggle with all our friends! When things got chaotic, she was there with her positive presence and helpful guidance. The experience with Kadi has led to some of our fondest wedding memories and we are so glad to call her our friend. 10/10 recommend. (In fact, I recommend her so highly that other friends of mine have already used Kadi for their engagement and wedding!)

Kadi was absolutely amazing. My husband and I are from Indiana and she never made us feel like we were far away. She was constantly in contact with us before and after she took our engagement photos. Since we aren't from Laguna Beach and had never been, she picked the locations out to shoot and she was spot on. We constantly have people tell us that our engagement photos are the best they have ever seen - and we couldn't agree more! Kadi is AMAZING!! Her style was exactly what we were looking for to capture our wedding and she exceeded our expectations! Our photos are gorgeous and capture our wedding perfectly with so much attention to detail. From start to finish she was extremely easy to work with...so helpful, reliable, organized and professional. Having Kadi photograph our day was honestly the best choice we made in our wedding planning process. We knew the photographer would be spending a lot of time with us on the day of and her personality and humor (she’s really funny, sweet and easy to talk to!) and overall energy made my husband and I feel SO at ease! My husband and I absolutely adore Kadi! She crushed it on our engagement and wedding photos - I get compliments all the time on them! I was very picky with the style I wanted and when I found Kadi, I was praying she was free on the day of our wedding. Thankfully she was and our pictures are everything. My husband's least favorite thing is being in front of the camera so I was a little nervous how he'd be but Kadi's "ways" of bringing out a natural smile were so helpful and exactly what he needed. Kadi is not only a fantastic photographer but also an amazing person. We had the pleasure of having her as our photographer when we got married this past summer in Whitefish, Montana. My fiancé and I are both fairly uncomfortable in front of the camera, Kadi immediately made us laugh and feel at ease throughout the entire experience. She continuously went above and beyond our expectations, and is truly dedicated to her craft. She is well organized and thinks through all aspects of the day, it was so nice knowing she had the whole thing under control and we could trust her. She also did more than play the role of our photographer and helped with a variety of other things to make the entire experience easier on us. Capturing incredible images that will last a life time seems to come second nature to Kadi, and I simply cannot recommend her enough!

We are coming up on our 3 year wedding anniversary! Time flies! I am so thankful that we chose to go with Kadi Tobin photography for our wedding. She did a wonderful job! She was able to capture a whole range of shots including very traditional formal shots as well as some amazing candid shots. My personal favorite is a group photo of our very large bridal party, where we are all squeezing in together and laughing! We ended up printing many photos to hang around our house and gave out some family photos for gifts. Fun fact - my father in law still has one of the family photos as his iPhone background - almost 3 years later! Not only is she a great photographer, she is a delight to work with! I cannot recommend Kadi enough!

We picked Kadi for our engagement photos based off how good the pictures on her instagram looked. She was amazing and spent a whole day with us that consisted of lots of laughs, traveling, bonding, and the engagement photos were better than we could ever ask for. We immediately booked her for our wedding and she blew it out of the water again. She is amazing at her craft and makes taking pictures fun and comfortable. Some of our friends saw our engagement and wedding photos and booked her for their wedding as well. I've been in many other wedding parties and have dealt with a variety of wedding photographers. Kadi is by far the best and is now a very close friend of ours as well. Highly recommend!

Kadi is fantastic! She made an effort to really get to know us and our relationship, so she felt like a good friend on the day. She managed to blend in so we rarely noticed her at the wedding, though when we did notice her she only added joy to the moment. Her prompts, when needed, brought out genuine smiles. On top of that, she captured all of the best moments and her photographs are truly incredible. I'm usually insecure about photos of myself, but somehow every photo she took was flattering. I can't recommend her enough! Kadi is a gem.

I am EXTREMELY picky when it comes to photography and after digging through the internet for weeks, I finally found my photography soulmate, Kadi. She photographed our engagement session and our wedding and captured the most magical, authentic, beautiful photographs I could have imagined. Friendly, funny, and kind, she made even my fiancé (now husband) relax, loosen up, and be himself in front of a camera, which is a feat in and of itself, as he isn't the biggest fan of being photographs. We shot at several different locations for our engagement session, which was incredible. After a couple brief conversations, Kadi knew EXACTLY what I was looking for and made it happen. During the shoot, it’s extremely relaxed and fun; she’ll never pose your or make you look stiff. My husband and I had a great time! Kadi did an equally impressive job capturing a multitude of special moments at our wedding. Professional, courteous, and detail-oriented, she worked with me seamlessly and perfectly (even though I was extremely stressed out about timing and schedule the day of). If you love whimsical, natural, expertly captured & edited photographs that you will want to share with EVERYONE and cherish forever, Kadi is your girl. Seriously, I cannot say enough good things about Kadi’s demeanor, professionalism, and, of course, her photos. Anytime I need a photographer again, I know who to call!
