Kaila and Company

looked for days on end because I just couldn't make my mind up. Yet something always brought me back to Kaila's page. Her photos were all just so full of life and color, which I absolutely loved. After video chatting with Kaila for the first time I knew I had to book with her because she made me feel so comfortable and I knew she would be there to help me with literally anything I needed. Not only did she shoot for our wedding, but also our engagement, and a boudoir shoot as well. Kaila has such an artistic eye for detail. Some of the things we did and places we took pictures I was maybe a little unsure of, but she knew exactly what she was doing because those things I was unsure of turned out to be the photos I love most. She knows exactly what she is doing and is truly a pro. I am so happy I chose Kaila to capture so many special memories in our life. Not only do I have amazing photos to look back on but I also gained a friend through the process. So if you made it this far in the review stop reading and book Kaila right now!! She is so worth it!!

ly with a camera in front of us but Kaila was able to make us look super natural. She did our engagement photos as well as our wedding photos. I really recommend having a photographer who can do both. We were able to get to know each other and it was a game changer. I picked her because I loved her style. Her photos just ooze love. She is able to capture the emotions in the moment and that meant a lot to me. Having quality photos of our day was a priority for both of us and that is what we got! She had researched our venue prior to the wedding and arrived early enough to get the lay of the land. We had a planning meeting where we made a timeline. So when we did our photos outside of the venue grounds she knew where to go and kept things on time! She doesn’t over edit/add weird filters to the photos. Every shot she captured looked clean and high quality. She caught everyone in their best light and I have so many quality photo options to choose from because of it. She was very supportive to everyone and made sure we looked out very best. She made sure I was happy and content the entire time. If you are in doubt please check out her IG account @kailaandco you will not regret picking her.

we talked, I would feel relieved and leave with several ideas I hadn’t considered. She is honest, thoughtful, genuinely passionate about what she does, and we love her artistic vision and style. Kaila truly helped make the planning process and day of feel stress free and FUN! We would recommend her in a heartbeat!

ed our preview galley just days after our wedding and her photos are AMAZING! Her extensive experience really shows and she was so focused on making sure we got the best photos possible, despite the on and off rain on our wedding day. I loved her photo style as it portrays the natural beauty of everything without being overly edited. She was easy to get in contact with no matter the time of year. Highly recommend booking her for your wedding!

raged us to FEEL our feelings throughout the whole process. Her energy is contagious and she will feel like a lifelong friend within minutes of meeting her. If you’re uncomfortable in front of the camera - she will guide you every step of the way so you walk away feeling so excited to see the results. If we had to relive this experience over and over again, we would choose her every single time. Love you Kaila, Dom & Em

e stunning. She was able to capture all the little moments perfectly. She also managed to keep us on schedule when I was running late! I can't say enough good things. Book her - you will not regret it!!

oothly. She makes you feel wonderful during photos and are instantly comfortable. I have ZERO regrets hiring Kaila and can't recommend her enough!! Thank you!

ne questions, and her help with our wedding day timeline and working with our planner made our day so seamless and hassle-free. NOT TO MENTION HER TALENT? The sneak peak pics we got from her (so soon after our wedding!) were all breath-taking and beautiful. She had so many fun and romantic photo ideas and fit right in with our wedding party (while still directing them for pics, which is a lot like herding cats). My husband and I felt so spoiled all day, and Kaila hyped us up for every pose (which goes a long way with a couple who tends to be camera-shy)! I was so, so impressed with all of Kaila's work and our guests were so surprised that she was a one-woman show that still managed to capture so many special moments and was calm, cool, and collected throughout the whole day. Kaila, you were my wedding day rock and I love you so much!!! HIRE HER Y'ALL, FOR REAL

ple off spilled drinks on the dance floor while still photographing the action, she spent an hour on the phone talking me through a timeline mishap the week of the wedding to make sure we minimized stress day of wedding. As for her photography skills — they are GOLDEN. Kaila has a gift of capturing moments that scream the emotions the people are feeling. The warmth, the emotion, the love just come through the screen. Please, do yourself a favor and book Kaila. I promise on wedding day you can’t just trust anyone to capture these fleeting moments you want to last forever. You can have confidence and peace of mind that Kaila will understand the assignment and give you exactly what you are looking for.

us with our timeline, she fixed my hair in the middle of our reception, and she never failed to remind me of the things that were most important to me. And in some of those stressful moments during the day, she knew exactly what to do to help smooth things over. Now...the photos. They're incredible. Kaila captured the most amazing shots, and every single one is my favorite. We aren't usually into getting photos taken, but she truly made it fun. She let us be ourselves, and we felt so comfortable with her. I connected with a few photographers before booking Kaila. You might find some who charge slightly less, but you will not regret booking Kaila. If you have to spend hours with someone on one of your most special days, you want it to be someone you'll enjoy hanging out with. And Kaila's that person. She's fun. She's genuine. She know exactly when to be honest with you. All I can say is -- trust her! When she gives advice on how to pose, where to stand, etc., she knows what she's doing!!

ed over her work and I can honestly say that I feel as if I chose the perfect photographer for myself and my husband!! I can’t wait to hire her again for an anniversary or maternity shoot one day!

1 day so we could all keep the excitement of the night going. She was not only the perfect photographer but a source of support for me throughout the day! She had my back and wanted to make sure things went exactly how I wanted. She rolled with some bumps and scheduling mishaps and everything turned out perfect. I am so grateful that she took sometime away from family and her newborn on a holiday to help make my day perfect. My partner is camera shy and she adapted to make him as comfortable as possible. And I can't forget to mention our engagement shoot. We had a BLAST getting to know Kaila one-on-one and the pictures complemented our wedding photos perfect. She has a special touch! I cannot give a higher recommendation. Book her now!!!!

endly, and made our day special. We have already gotten to preview some photos and they are amazing!

s my friend, my bridesmaid's friend, my biggest supporter and bustle expert. When some details didn't go as planned due to Covid, Kaila went out of her way to ensure that we made great memories out of what I thought was going to be the hardest part of the day. I can't thank Kaila (and Chris!) enough for everything and will 1000% be reaching out to Kaila every time we need photos done.

camera, and Kaila and Kara made us feel so comfortable and it felt like we were all friends. They made me laugh constantly throughout the day and were so laid back, they quite literally helped fan my sweaty booty after taking pictures for hours in the 97° heat. We got a preview gallery of over 90 photos within 48 hours and I have not stopped staring at them, they are absolutely breathtaking!! 100/10 recommend using Kaila!!

ures just the right moment. Very unique! ❤️

to have a good time! My wedding was postponed due to the venue closing due to covid and Kaila made sure to accommodate us and ensured us she would still be there on our big day! She is very detail oriented and actually takes the time to make sure your vision is executed! Also, we all know how time consuming editing photos can be, Kaila even sends a little sneak peak of some of the photos soon after they are taken which is so thoughtful! And best of all, the photos are nothing short of amazing! Book with Kaila and you will not be disappointed!

th me and help create the perfect timeline for the day. The photos were absolutely beautiful - my family cannot stop gushing over them. She was funny, kind, and easy to work with. I also really appreciated the quick responses via email when I had last-minute questions. I would recommend Kaila to all of my family and friends getting married in Ohio.

ided to instead have a small wedding in my sister and brother-in-law’s backyard in Dublin, OH, over Labor Day Weekend, so I suddenly found myself needing to plan an entire wedding in two months. I was frantically searching photographers on Instagram and came across Kaila. I loved her style of photos, so I checked out her website and sent her a message asking about her availability. Kaila responded within an hour confirming her availability, and over the next few hours we messaged back and forth. She kindly answered my questions and addressed concerns I had about how wedding photos in a suburban backyard would look. All I can say is that even through email, Kaila’s warmth and positivity absolutely shines. I knew we had hit the photographer jackpot, and by the next evening my fiancé and I had signed our contract with Kaila. Since we did not have a DJ for our wedding, Kaila was a huge help in setting a timeline for our day, and on the day-of she kept things moving and on track. I was constantly asking “what time is it?! How are we doing on time??” and she would always answer calmly and would assure me that we were right on schedule. I was definitely an anxious bride after everything we had gone through with postponing and then canceling our original wedding plans, and she was an expert at calming my nerves. She was the perfect combination of professional and compassionate. Once the ceremony was over and we moved on to family portraits, Kaila was great at gathering everyone who needed to be in a particular shot and getting the photos done quickly so that everyone could eat, socialize, and enjoy themselves. Kaila had awesome suggestions for our individual and couple portraits, and her directions for how to position ourselves were very clear. My fiancé and I can often look a bit stiff or awkward in photos, but Kaila’s directions and demeanor made us feel so comfortable and confident, and the resulting photos reflect that. She was also happy to take requests for specific photos that I thought of on the spot (like recreating a photo of my siblings and me from years ago) and would give suggestions for how to make those photos even better. Two days after our wedding, Kaila sent us our previews. I was expecting just a handful of photos, but we received dozens! That was such an awesome surprise. The photos themselves were incredible and it was so fun going through them and reliving the joy of our wedding day. Simply said, Kaila is a master of her craft. The shots are beautifully edited, you can see her expertise in our posing, and she caught so many little moments that are so precious for us to remember. And those are just the previews, we still have the whole gallery to anticipate and enjoy! I honestly cannot recommend Kaila enough. I wish I was having another wedding tomorrow just so I could have her photograph it again! Kaila made our wedding day so special and was a major factor in how perfect the day turned out to be. I hope I have reason to work with her again in the future – if we decide to do a couples or family photo session, she will absolutely be our go-to. If you work with Kaila, you will not regret it – it may just be the best decision you’ll make for your wedding, because it certainly was for mine!

uch more than just a photographer. She was my hype-girl, voice of reason, therapist, basically a bridesmaid (she did my bustle and fixed my hair and veil), and thought of absolutely everything. She was the calming presence that we all needed that day. The whole wedding party has not stopped talking about how much they all loved her. She truly felt like a friend. She was there to support us 100% and went above and beyond. She made our wedding perfect.

was very professional all day and kept great composure even when some would try to change what her photo shots should be or when our bridal party wasn’t listening. Kaila captured all of our family portraits that we listed out perfectly. When it was time for the bride and groom pictures she knew exactly what pictures she wanted and gave great direction. She was perfect when it came to questions before booking, during the process of the contract and communicated well leading up to our special day. She got our pictures to us in a very timely manner, faster than we could have expected especially when comparing it to other couples. You will not go wrong with booking with Kaila Sarene Photography. She is beyond talented at what she does and puts her heart into it!

nally planned. A lot of vendors struggled to deal with the resulting uncertainty but Kaila never faltered and was a source of rock-steady poise throughout everything. She did everything she said she was going to do when she said that she was going to do it. I never had to worry about her reliability or her professionalism during our work relationship - when everything else was going to pieces as a result of the pandemic, it was nice to know that we could always count on her. Kaila's workflow is excellent as well - all of the contractual details were managed online with clear, easy to understand language and immediate, "always on" accessibility. The entire process was so convenient and easy. This convenience factor was especially important to us because we got married in my wife's childhood church which was nowhere near our current residence. Additionally, Kaila has an easygoing temperament that will mesh well with a lot of personalities - that's an underrated virtue when you have a big family with a lot of strong personalities. I appreciated Kaila's ability and desire to work well with everybody - everyone seems to have an opinion when it comes to wedding so the ability to be diplomatic is critical to success. Finally, I LOVE our wedding photos. We hired Kaila for a total of 5 hours and Kaila worked every second of the 5 hours that we paid for. Not only that, she worked with us in some of the worst heat and humidity! Not once did Kaila complain or suggest that we compromise our vision because of the heat. We were so impressed with Kaila that we retained her for our delayed wedding reception that we are having next year - repeat business is the best endorsement, no? I wholeheartedly recommend Kaila without reservation.

cool and collected while staging shots and getting my family portraits together. She took amazing photos and got them back to me in record time! She even sent me several edited wedding photos before the night was over! She did my engagement photos, boudoir, and wedding. I would highly recommend booking her!!

making sure all our photos turned out perfectly. It felt like having a friend at our wedding! If you’re looking for a fun, professional wedding photographer who is amazing then run don’t walk to book her!

ble, communicative, and never once did I feel concern about working with her. Aside from taking amazing photos, she made us feel comfortable and supported as more than a photographer-couple relationship. We even bonded over tacos and went to dinner after engagement photos since we loved her and her husband so much! If I had to re-plan this wedding, there is no doubt I’d choose to work with Kaila again.

e went above and behind. I was constantly tagging her in inspo wedding photos leading up to the date and she was such a good sport about understanding my vision. Kaila was the perfect mix of taking charge to bring my vision to life quickly so we could get them done and get back to celebrating while letting me put my two cents in occasionally and accommodating family (and my 2 and 3 year old nieces who can't sit still). We had 30 photos the next day to look at during the honeymoon which was such a welcome surprise. She truly is SO talented. I cannot recommend her enough. Every photo took my breath away and 4 months later, I still look at them all the time. If you're as stressed about choosing a photographer as I was, look no further. She truly captured memories of our wedding day that I'll look fondly on forever.

reschedule. My husband and I live in Nashville, so she jumped on a flight the following week just for our shoot. On my Wedding day, she helped to keep me calm and was so fun to have by my side throughout the day. I could not recommend her enough!

ted that may not have been the normal photos. The gallery she gave us was incredible and will be cherished forever.

he arrived on time and helped keep everything running smoothly. Our pictures were absolutely stunning! She captured everything so perfectly- even the small moments that I never could’ve asked for! She was also a dream to work with. All of the other vendors loved her! She was an all around great asset to our wedding day!

t and humidity, Kaila was fun, positive and flexible. Our day was a bit chaotic and we had a few detours in our photo route, but Kaila was down for anything and everything! Highly recommended.

this change and came with us! We received all of our photos timely and they are all amazing. She is so talented and I really feel like we became great friends! I would recommend her to any of my friends.

der Kaila our photographer, but our friend. She was there every step of the way leading up to the wedding and made sure our special day was perfect. She even helped me with a dress malfunction! I can't thank her enough for being the amazing person and photographer that she is. If you don't know who to choose as your wedding photographer, I will make it easy for you and say that you should without a doubt choose Kaila. Thank you so much Kaila! You really are such a beautiful person inside and out! We can't thank you enough! ❤️

me about Kaila is that she is a GREAT photographer at a really reasonable cost. The entire day she was nothing but helpful, caring and assertive. She let me tell her what shots I had been hoping for while not being afraid to speak up and encourage us to try shots out of our comfort zone. She left our reception and got us a preview of our photos THAT NIGHT - talk about a rock star. Every single photo I have seen from our day honestly moves me to tears because of the quality of the moments that she captured. So many friends and family members have reached out about the photos and I am so thankful that we had her and her husband (talk about a dream team) capture our day. I promise you, if you're struggling to find a photographer who's not only incredibly talented, but kind and joyful - look no further!

0000 questions when we first talked to editing the photos. She was fantastic the entire time. I had let her know my date but hadn't booked yet and she let me know once it was time to book because somebody else was inquiring about my date. I emailed her throughout the entire year including asking her if my groomsmen should wear white or ivory (I trust the professionals) She is extremely organized, there's a questionnaire that she sent me to fill out pre-wedding, and it gave me life, the questions were so detailed that I knew I didn't have to worry about anything. She reviewed my timeline, gave suggestions and worked with me the week leading up to the wedding. On the day of Kaila was early and ready! She definitely knows what she's doing, she got right to it, she's open to suggestions of what you want shot so don't be shy to tell her if there's a shot you really want! we hadn't done an engagement shoot because my husband really hates being in photos, yet being photographed by her felt comfortable for both of us, we would giggle when we felt silly which also ended up being some of our favorite photos. Even my husband loved the photos of himself, so really Kaila is a photo wizard and I couldn't be happier with my decision to have her at our wedding.

re to get every photo that we had talked about prior. Highly recommend!!!

e our photographer was by far one of the best decisions we made in the planning process!

a lot of practice modeling for photos but she walked me through it and made it comfortable almost like instinct I recommend her 100%!!!

ul pictures for the most special day of your life. She is very professional but also caring and kind. She understands what you want and also gives you ideas to think about. I have seen her deliver so many unique and creative pictures. She truly wants your day to be the best! There is no way you could go wrong by having Kaila take your wedding pictures. She is the ultimate professional photographer.

e also helps guide them to a great location for engagements shots or even wedding photos that go along with the bride and groom’s personalities. It’s incredible to see what her vision and creativity come up with all while being a kind person in the process. I think she completely deserves this as I see how much hard work she puts into her photography! Great job!

ess and easy for us to look so good! I have a VERY large family and was nervous about rallying everyone together for the family photo, and she took charge so I did not have to and got everyone together for the shot! I was SO THANKFUL she took the reigns on that one for me! I also value how kind, friendly, real and funny she was! She made taking photos in the cold so much fun! Not to mention, she got my preview photos from my wedding day back to me a day later--YES, ONE DAY LATER!! (That is unheard of!) I am so pleased with how the photos turned out and have gotten an enormous amount of compliments on them. Many people have asked me who my photographer wants to book her because she is THAT GOOD!!! Do yourself a favor and snatch her up NOW! I promise you will not regret it! :)

t. She was there from the beginning, acting more than just a photographer, but as a friend. She knew my vision for the day, and along with capturing every detail, she also made sure the pieces fell into place the best she could. She sent a preview so quick, and we were so in love! Then when she sent the gallery, I couldn’t stop the tears from rolling. My day was perfect, and she captured it so beautifully. From my mom crying when I walked down the isle, to the sweet flower girls giggling outside. I recommend her to everyone I know, she takes the best photos I’ve ever seen. If you’re looking for a wedding photographer, choose her! She’s worth every penny!!
