About this vendor
Hi, I'm Kaila. I'm a freelance hairstylist based in Nashville, Tennessee. I specialize in hair styling, bridal, cut & coloring and make-up. From on set to behind the chair, when styling hair and make up, I concentrate on using high performance, non-toxic products. I believe there is a "cleaner" way to achieve beauty. My desire to do hair came from my passion for fashion. I love how the two go hand-in-hand. When I'm not doing hair, I'm spending time with my family, exploring my town (usually scouting for the best food), dreaming of Florence, Italy and staying up-to-date with all things hair and fashion.

Working with Kaila was a truly wonderful experience from start to finish. I typically don't wear makeup and had been having an awful hair year, and Kaila put me at ease with her pe...
rsonality and talent throughout the entire process. I ended up doing two hair trials as I was a bit clueless and changed directions, and Kaila was accommodating and provided great feedback. Kaila was prompt and flexible with our schedule on our wedding day, and took my bridesmaids and mother's needs and wants into consideration throughout their time with her. I truly felt more beautiful than I have ever felt, while still feeling exactly myself with Kaila's work. As a plus from her talent, she is personable and kind and a pleasure to spend a (long!) day with!
Kaila did an AMAZING job on my hair and makeup for my wedding. She also did my maid of honor’s makeup, and did a fantastic job.
On top of being great at what she does, she’s a su...
per nice person. She has a calming energy as well, which was so nice on such an anxious day. I would recommend her to anyone.
Kaila did an amazing job on my hair and makeup for my wedding -- the pictures were flawless! She is extremely kind, helpful throughout the process, and she is a wonderful person to...
talk to and hang out with. She made my makeup look natural and she made my hair look so loose and romantic while feeling tight and secure throughout the day, even after two hours of dancing. She also did hair and makeup for my maid of honor and hair for my mother, mother in law, and officiant. All were happy with the result and our photos looked fantastic! Can't recommend her highly enough.
Kaila is AMAZING! End of story. She did my hair for my wedding and it was everything I imagined, and more. Kaila listened to what I wanted, and worked to make sure the result match...
ed what I had in mind. I absolutely loved my wedding day hair, and cannot recommend Kaila and her beautiful work enough! I also happen to know that she is beyond talented at ALL things hair--not just wedding-related. Thanks Kaila :)

he has a way of elevating your hairstyle so that it’s even better than you imagined, and makes you feel your best. She’s flexible, innovative and patient - everything you need on your wedding day! I still look back at my wedding party and am in awe of how beautiful she made everyone look and feel!!
Kaila is the best. Love how down to earth and reasonable she is. Not only does she cut my hair (which is a big deal, because I don't do that very often) but she did my wedding ha...

Kaila had been my stylist for 5 years before I found ‘the right one’... she was my ear to listen, my sound board on ‘boys’ for so long- that it only made sense for her to help me f...
eel amazing once again- but on my wedding day. She has such a talent, that even 4 years after my wedding, moves to different states for us both- and children, I still can’t wait to see her, even if it’s only once a year. I highly suggest her for color, cut & the confidence boost needed to make it thru your daily life!

I’ve known Kaila almost my entire life - since we were just two kids in elementary school. And how lucky for me that one of my childhood friends grew up and became the most talente...
d and tasteful hair stylist! Not only do I wait until I fly “home” to visit family to have my hair cut because I don’t trust anyone but her, but now my sister and mother will only go to her as well! She has excellent taste and uses all non toxic products, so you’re guaranteed to get the best. It was a no brained to have her do my hair for my wedding day along with my bridal party, and the result was absolutely gorgeous. My curls held up (and my hair does not typically hold a curl at all!), my vision was exceeded, and the photos turned out beautifully. I cannot recommend this talented lady enough and am so proud to call her my friend!
I have been getting my hair done by Kaila for 10 years now. All I can say is she is simply the best! A master at what she does. She listens to what you ask for and delivers 100%. W...
hen it came to my wedding there was no one else I wanted to make my hair look beautiful other then Kaila. I’ve gone to other stylists before and what gets to me the most is when they do what they want, not what you are asking for. And like I mentioned above Kaila gives her all to make you completely happy. For my wedding I wanted a simple braid with waves. For something so simple she made it look so beautiful and elegant. So many girls at my wedding complimented my hair. Even after my wedding my friends who were getting engaged asked me for contact information. If you are looking to book with Kaila I would pick her hands down. Her work is beautiful and you will not be disappointed.
Absolutely THE best!! Kaila was very professional, personable, and affordable! She did a great job listening to what I envisioned for my wedding up-do, and scheduled a trial appoin...
