Based in Poughkeepsie, NY, we document your wedding through beautiful photography and cinematography. Have your big day committed to film in stunning stills or a heartwarming highlight reel. An additional artist can be available on the day, with the pair providing 8 hours of event coverage. You and your sweetheart are welcome to an engagement session to kick off the wedding journey, and a trash-the-dress shoot when the day has drawn to a close. We can travel to you! Our work has taken us from Maine to California. For clients who wish for extra coverage on their special day, we offer the option of a second photographer and additional hours. Other than wedding day coverage, we also cover engagement, welcome parties, boudoir, portraiture, and trash-the-dress sessions. Kai is the best!! He did our engagement shoot and wedding photos and both came out so beautiful. I could not recommend him enough. I provided a shot list that I wanted for the wedding and he, and his partner, made sure that I got every photo on that list and that our guests were where we needed them for all of the photos, which was so incredibly helpful on the day of. My husband and I had also never had professional photos taken of us so I was worried about the photos looking too staged and/or awkward but kai was so amazing at making us feel comfortable in front of the camera to get the best photos possible.

We cannot recommend Kai’s Photography more!! My husband and I are not the most comfortable with having our picture taken, but he made us feel so relaxed throughout. The pictures were absolutely beautiful and are better than we could have ever imagined. He kept us on track with our timeline and our photo list. I cannot recommend him enough!

Kai was very easy to work with, he was flexible with our location preferences when it came to our engagement photos, understood our vision when we communicated the feeling and style we wanted to portray with the photos. Even when our engagement shoot had to be rescheduled due to weather, he continued to stay in contact with us about the changes in weather, location, and days we could meet up. Ultimately it was nearly a 3-hour drive for him, but he showed up before us and absolutely delivered. Kai was always quick to respond to text messages as well which was a great relief. I felt confident leaving photos out of my mind since I knew he was more than capable of getting things done! The photos absolutely blew my mind and they're still talked about several months later. It was a real privilege to work with him and we hope that out paths cross again. We can't recommend him enough. If you're thinking about it, take this as your sign to reach out. You won't regret it one bit.

We loved working with Kai! Our photos are so natural, and so many delightful moments were captured. This was the most easy-going party of our wedding planning. We got our photos back in 2.5 weeks and they are stunning. We don't know how we'll pick which ones to eventually put in an album because there are so so many gems. We're thankful for how our happiest day was artistically captured.

Kai went above and beyond to capture the magic of our wedding weekend events in his photos! From booking to the wedding day, Kai was kind, helpful, and easy to communicate with. He completed phone calls with me in advance to discuss scheduling, style preferences and offer suggestions based on his expertise. My husband and I didn’t want an engagement photo session (included in our package), so Kai was flexible enough to photograph our wedding weekend welcome party instead! On the day of the wedding, he and his partner were relaxed and flexible, especially with the unpredictable weather, which kept me and my family at ease and helped the photography time move smoothly and seamlessly. He even stayed 30 minutes past his contracted time when our schedule was running a bit behind so he could capture our dessert bar. Then, just 4.5 weeks later, we received all our photos and they were BEAUTIFUL! We highly recommend hiring Kai Photography for your next event!

I must first say that Kai’s Photography went above and beyond the call of duty. Our photographer, Bryamz, was very professional and accommodating all throughout the wedding day. Usually weddings can be a bit stressful and it’s hard to manage a lot of people all at once all while making sure things are done timely. My goal from the beginning was to make sure this wedding was as stress-free as possible and Bryamz clearly understood the assignment. He made sure every detail and every important shot was prioritized and did so efficiently as to give us the most in the time we had him for. We couldn’t have asked for a more professional and efficient photographer. He definitely proved to be well versed in photography and definitely knows how to capture the best angles. If you’re looking for a professional and also very RESPECTFUL photographer to capture the best moments of your special day, Bryamz is definitely the man to go to. 10 out of 10 and would highly recommend!

I don’t think that there are enough amazing things to say about Bryamz. He was extremely flexible with the changes I needed to make, first being my wedding date and then after that the timeline of the actual wedding day due to potential weather issues. He is very easy to communicate with and responds so fast. My husband and I are so glad that we chose Kai’s photography to photograph our wedding day. Both Bryamz and his assistant were so kind and helped keep the day moving along smoothly. They took any and all photos we had asked for and they also captured candid photos of our day. We did not hire a videographer, and with all of the photos that were taken, I personally do not regret it because they captured each special moment. I would highly recommend Kai’s Photography for any of your photography needs if you are looking for someone who is flexible, affordable, personable and takes beautiful photos!!

I could not ask for a better team of photographers that go above and beyond with their work. They are passionate about photography and very kind and punctual. They truly did an incredible job capturing each and every beautiful moment that occurred during our special day! Not only that, but they make you feel so comfortable and take the time to get the best possible photos. We would highly recommend Kai's Photography! The small crew shot both photo and video for our wedding. They were very friendly, timely, gave great advice for location and poses and did beautiful work. The two photographers were flexible the entire time and took hundreds of formal and candid photos/video. They also allowed for some extra time at the end when their contracted time was up. We are 100% glad that we hired this vendor!

Easy to work with; professional but also warm. Lots of wonderful and sweet candid shots of us and of our guests but can also capture more formal poses with a keen and sharp eye. Turn around was quick and as promised. A really great experience and we’re really happy with all the photos and appreciative of all the work B did.

we had great experience with B. Very friendly and understanding. There were a few mishaps as the day got closer, and he was very understanding and flexible with us. We REALLY appreciate that. If you are "shopping" for a Photographer, just know he will be there for you. We bombarded with questions at the beginning and as the day got closer and he was always there helping us. The experience with this vendor was absolutely amazing! You will not go wrong with him. From the beginning the level of communication was amazing. He displayed respect, punctuality and professionalism. When the day of the wedding came around he kept showing all that for everybody including the family and guests. Although the wedding was over 300 people, he was able to capture beautiful shots of the guests and the important moments of the wedding. My husband and I are so happy and thankful with all the work he did and the pictures we received.
