I’m a storyteller, both with words (hey, once an English teacher always an English teacher) and images. That’s what I’m here to do - document the story of one of your greatest celebrations.
My work is heavily focused on the authentic, unplanned moments, the candids. By and large, my approach is observational and real, creating images that are genuine representations of you, those you love, and the space and moments you share.
I create true-to-life images that will bring you back to some of your sweetest, most treasured moments for years to come.

n immediately stood out to me as someone with the ability to capture the essence of a couple. As I browsed her galleries I felt like I knew the couples and their stories by the time I was done. My wife and I are very introverted, shy, and not used to being the center of attention — let alone in front of a camera. After consulting with Kaitlin it was even more clear that she was the perfect photographer for us. Kaitlin listened to our requests, asked us questions to get a better understanding of what sort of coverage we’d like, and checked in multiple times leading up to the wedding day to go over plans.
On the day of, Kaitlin was incredible. She set her flash units up perfectly to give a beautiful sense of lighting to our indoor pictures. Kaitlin was quick and professional with our family formals without feeling like she was rushing anyone. We love our newlywed portraits, largely due to how natural it felt to work with her—again this was huge for us as two people who are a bit camera shy. Our reception photos are equally beautiful, she captured meaningful candid moments without feeling like she was standing between us and the moments happening around us.
If you’re like my wife and me and aren’t used to being on camera, I would 100% recommend booking a practice session with Kaitlin either for engagement photos or couples’ photos. As a photographer I’m used to being behind the camera and not in front of it. She helped us feel comfortable and it also helped her see how we interact together as a couple.
At no point did we feel like Kaitlin was commandeering our schedule to check off boxes on a shot-list. She was seamlessly integrated everything. Genuinely, I cannot recommend Kaitlin enough. Working with her is like having a best friend there take your wedding photos.

A few weeks before the wedding we had a final call with Kaitlin. We reviewed our timeline of events, and gave an initial list of what we wanted for family photos. We wanted our family photos to take about 20 minutes so we could enjoy the majority of cocktail hour. We had the good fortune of finding Kaitlin and having her document our wedding and are thrilled with the memories she’s presented us with. She went above and beyond, from before sunrise to well after sunset, and many of our guests made it a point to let us know how friendly and kind she was to them. We are not accustomed to being in front of a camera - Kaitlin’s easygoing, warm personality made us feel comfortable and allowed us to get wonderful photos of one of the most important days of our lives.
She certainly has a good eye for classic “standard” wedding photos and will walk you (and your family/friends) through them in an organized way, but she really shines with her ability to become a part of your crowd/gathering to capture the real moments – she’s a fast friend.
