If there was some way we could work things around and capture your special day there's no reason we wouldn't have. Additionally, we accept all payment methods, we always push for PayPal first because it provides great invoicing and receipting for both parties. We understand that you are upset about having to use a different form of transaction to get your refund, if you were dead set on PayPal we would have happily worked that out for you but you never expressed any concern at the time when we suggested Venmo or Zelle and we felt an immediate transfer would prove more efficient as it arrives in your bank account the next day. Also, so you are aware you would not have lost any money if you canceled your date. If you review the contract you signed it states "Cancellation by the client with less than 48 hours’ notice may result in up to 100% of total charge. Cancellation by the client 14 days before the scheduled date will result in a 50% charge being made in order to cover costs incurred. Cancellation by the client when the production has commenced, or with less than 48 hours’ notice, may result in up to 100% of the total." Thus you would have only received a charge if you canceled 14 days or less before your date. I understand you are upset and I am very empathic to your situation but I love capturing weddings. I've been doing this for over 5 years. I've done well over 100 weddings and wouldn't continue if I wasn't passionate about it. I'm honored and humbled to get to capture people's special day and create a film that they can share and cherish forever. I love what I do for a living. Looking at my personal Instagram I can see why you would be confused with the lack of weddings, we use YouTube for all our weddings because we can't post any wedding videos on Instagram due to copyright music policies they can only be shared on Instagram stories. The lack of weddings on Instagram has nothing to do with my level of love for filming weddings. Again, we are deeply sorry you had a bad experience. Let us know what we can do to make it right.
