Correspondence with her was extremely professional, and her work is fantastic. Family and friends have continued commenting to us about how wonderful the pictures she took turned out. Kala was extremely kind and helpful! She was very responsive and able to accommodate us in such short notice.
The day of our elopment, she took the most beautiful pictures of us in multiple locations around the area we got married in Brooklyn. She was extremely patient and fun to work with and be around! She captured who we are and our love so perfectly.
Additionally, Kala was so fast! Within hours of the photos, while we were at dinner celebrating, she sent us a ton of sneak peeks and we were over the moon! That couldn't been all she sent us and we would've been happy!
She shared with us the full library and was so gracious to even do a quick touch ups for us months after for our Holiday Cards.
I'm so happy we had a chance to meet and work with Kala and recommend her to anyone looking to capture their special moments and love.

She also made a personal investment in our story and got our pictures back to us so quickly; a piece that I personally appreciated so much. job making it personal and our true personalities showed in all the photos. Kala is actually the maid of honor in our wedding next year and we would have hired her in a heartbeat (but want her on the other side of the camera this time!) so we unfortunately had to hire someone else for the photography. BUT we hired her assistant to be our videographer and we could not be more excited!

Our wedding party and family all said how wonderful she was to work with throughout the big day and her photos are absolutely stunning! She even had a sneak peek sent to me that same night. If you’re in the market for a photographer for any occasion look no further! We would use Kala again in a heartbeat!

Kala, you were a pleasure to work with! You were kind, accommodating, personable, and professional. We would recommend you to anyone!
Kala is GREAT. She is very professional and exceeded our expectations. While planning our wedding Kala provided us with the information we needed to make our decision on who would ...
be doing our photos. Kala was reasonably priced and had great works so we chose to work with her. Prior to the wedding she had quick correspondance. She took care of the responsibility of contacting the venue and providing them with the insurance information needed. The day of the wedding Kala was on time. She even brought a professional helper to ensure every moment was captured (we had 240 guests). Kala was very respectful of the church ceremony and did not distract the guests or us by taking too many pictures or getting in the way of people’s viewing. She took the rest our our photos at Niagara Falls. The commotion of this busy location did not distract Kala at all! She took great stages photos. She took some candids that turned out to be some of my favorites. When the wedding was over she was finished with the photos in a timely manner. She sent us a link to a lovely online site along with neatly labeled USB drives. Kala was very professional. We highly recommend her work. I have been in several weddings since and I have confirmed that Kala’s work is exceptional by comparison of other photographers. Don’t just consider Kala for your wedding... book her!!

5 stars is captioned “The best ever,” and that is truly what we got with Kala. She was on time, willing to travel to get to our desired location for our engagement session, and was...
just an absolute pleasure to work with. She brought a ton of ideas for us to play with and decide what we liked best, and when we decided we didn’t like one or more of the pictures because of how we looked, she allowed us to take them as many times as we needed to to get them done the way we wanted them. Additionally, her editing skills are top notch! The pictures turned out absolutely stunning, and we could not be more grateful to have chosen Kala to do our engagement session. We are even more excited to have her do our wedding! If I hear of anyone who needs a photographer, I will 100% be sending them Kala’s way. 10/10, absolutely would recommend!
Kala is AMAZING!!!! When she first started out, we hired her as a second photographer for our son's wedding and then our daughter's wedding 2 months later, and actually preferred a...
nd used Kala's photographs more than the "seasoned" photographers that we had hired! So when our daughter Rilee got married 3 years later, we hired Kala as our #1 (and only) photographer and her pictures blew us away! Not only does she capture every important moment, but she does it in a way that you almost don't even know she is there! She is beyond easy to work with and adds a lightness to the air so everyone is at ease and comfortable in her presence. We have one more daughter, and you can be assured that when she gets engaged, Kala will be one of our first phone calls!!! :)
