We held our special day at Trappers Turn 11 days ago. We worked closely with Claudiu with the Kalahari. He made everything so easy and effortless. We did have an issue with the arranged shuttle, but we do not fault the Kalahari for the mistake since it was contracted out to a 3rd vendor. Everything at the venue was amazing. It was a beautiful setting, the food was amazing, and it just was the perfect day. We had so many compliments from our guests that everything was great from start to finish. We loved the fact that you could get your package to cover all your food and beverage needs without any hidden fees. Claudiu, thank you so much for making our day so perfect. Your team and staff are superb. We couldn't have asked for any better!!!

We got married at Trappers Turn 10 days ago and cannot say enough good things about our experience. Even throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Trappers Turn and the Kalahari were flexible and understanding. Our original event manager was Claudiu, but due to the pandemic we were switched to Chris. Both were awesome and knowledgeable. I love Trappers Turn because it is a beautiful venue both inside and out. The grounds included many colorful flowers, a lovely pond and stream, and these cool old-fashioned clocks just outside the building. Our guests loved the veranda and due to the pandemic some chose to eat outside. The veranda also allowed for a great view of the fireworks show Trappers Turn allowed us to hold for our wedding. In addition to the setting, several of our guests commented that the food they ate was the best wedding food they had ever had (we served pork, chicken, and the cauliflower steak), and the late night pizza was also delicious. Trappers Turn does not nickel and dime you. Their rates are super reasonable and you are not hit with any silly fees for tablecloths and napkins. The room rental is a set price for the entire day (some venues in the area charge per head). Any alcohol ordered but not drank you aren't charged for. Again, I highly, highly recommend this venue for your wedding. If I could give this a 6th star I would!

We had our wedding at Trappers Turn this past weekend and it was a complete dream. It has been such a great experience from start to finish! We toured the facility with Jo Ann and she was always knowledgable, helpful, and friendly. Through the planning process, we worked with Karl and he was always quick to respond, professional, accommodating, patient, and kind. The venue itself is classy and timeless and of course, a beautiful setting. The service and food is beyond excellent. The staff truly made everything easy for my husband and I and both of our families so that we were all able to enjoy every moment without worry. We are absolutely thrilled to have selected Trappers Turn as our wedding venue!

I cannot speak more highly about Trappers Turn as a wedding venue. Claudiu and his team were AMAZING! The service and food was top notch. We have had a lot of guests say it was the BEST wedding meal they have ever had. Thank you to the entire Trappers staff. You helped make our day very special.

Our wedding was fantastic. Karl, our wedding coordinator from Kalahari, was the only person that could have helped me pull off a wedding so seamlessly. He did an amazing job helping me keep on track and answered any of the many questions I asked. The wedding itself was perfect. Guests still rave to this day about how excellent the food was. Double Cut, the restaurant down the hall, even let us take wedding pictures inside their cool bar area because they saw us taking pictures. The Kalahari put a lot of care and hard work into a day that my husband and I will remember forever. My guests still talk about what a fun weekend it was anytime we see them. If you ever need to plan a wedding, do it here. The prices can’t be beat and the service is 5 star. Ask for Karl, he’s the best!

The staff at Trapper's Turn are truly amazing and willing to work with you every step of the way to make sure your day goes exactly how you would like! There were no surprises, no malfunctions, just total perfection!! The staff care SO much about making sure everything is amazing for you, and I cannot stress enough how wonderful it was to work with them! Trappers is a gorgeous venue inside and out and needs very little to no decorating!

Such a gorgeous venue. The Trappers Turn and Kalahari staff made it very easy for us to plan our wedding from out of town. The staff was very flexible and accommodating and went above and beyond to meet and exceed our expectations. Despite being in the Dells, Trappers Turn is set just far enough away from downtown that you don't get the tourist feel at all yet, it is just minutes into downtown to all the major hotels and attractions. We could not have been happier with our venue selection.

Had an outdoor ceremony on the driving range and 175 person reception in the club house. The staff was amazing and took care of my setup. The wedding coordinator assigned to our event was super responsive and detailed. Huge bar and large outdoor wrap around deck with heat lamps! Would highly recommend!!! So much included in the price!

The staff at the Kalahari is second to none. Our wedding went off without a hitch, thanks to their professional and dependable crew. There are so many things to stress about on the wedding day, but my reception venue, food, and drinks was one thing that I had complete confidence in. First of all, the food was AMAZING and our guests still continue to tell us that it was the most amazing wedding food they had ever had! Full of flavor and HUGE portions, it was a great deal for what we paid! The Kalahari offers sheers to place around the walls, and a flower box to be hung from the ceiling over the dance floor. We took advantage of these and the result was breathtaking. It was the most beautiful wedding I've ever seen, and our guests raved about it! Once in the room you would have had no idea you were actually at a family resort. I cannot say enough GREAT things about the Kalahari and their staff!

Amazing place, food, and staff! They helped us every step of the way and when it came to the details - they had everything covered from the rehearsal dinner to the ceremony and reception. They even helped us walk through our rehearsal when the pastor was unable to attend. They were so accommodating and unbelievably helpful - we simply couldn't ask for more. We received so many compliments about the beautiful venue, the great food, and the overall atmosphere. The location also makes for beautiful pictures!

It was gorgeous and so worth it!! The staff was so helpful and there for me with every question and helped me incorporate all of my ideas. The food was AMAZING. I had so many compliments. The Bar is HUGE and every one was served promptly. The balcony overlooks a pond with a fountain and SWANS!! It really was a dream Venue

I loved having my wedding at the kalahari! They were super expensive tho.. you have to pay for everything including some decorations they already have. the staff was nice and the actually wedding day was great! the food was good and the servers did amazing at serving everyone fast..
