through her process and what the timeline will look like. We were so ahead of the game with booking, but even being more than 12 months away, communication was so easy. She is busy though so we were understanding that there may be time she was away from her phone/computer to catch up on other things! When it came to the engagement photos, I think that the time we spent just chit chatting on that first zoom call really allowed us the opportunity to break the ice and give her the best chance at capturing the candid moments of us as a couple. With her help, we could be silly and romantic running around Milwaukee. In the end, her photo-journalistic editing style made the photos even more silly and romantic. At that point, we were unbelievably excited for the big day and to just hang out with her all day! Prior to the wedding day, we had a call just going through all the family and photo groupings, the day of details, what she needs from us and what we needed from her. It was reassuring that she was so experienced and prepared to be a single shooter and we had zero doubts that she would do it so well. On the big day, she showed up ready to get the ball rolling. She shot the details, she got both sides of the bridal party, she was buzzing around getting shots of the decor and venue and by the time all the prep was done, we were rolling on over to the off-site location for first look and group photos. She was so helpful delegating where to be and was so so sweet just checking in on me as well. I appreciated that a ton! I am so beyond excited to see the shots of the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception in a couple months. Seriously cant recommend this woman enough. She is hard working and works hard for her brides. I will miss not having the wedding to look forward to so we can see her again, but we plan to connect again for more photos in the future.
