She helped us so much leading up to the wedding with helping with our timeline to calming us down when we were supposed to have rain on our big day. She was there and prepared with the clear umbrellas. She also helped keep us on schedule day of and her second shooter was so helpful and amazing too! reviews but Kaley makes me want to shout from the rooftops how incredible she is. I hired Kaley for a boudoir shoot, an engagement shoot, and for our wedding pictures. I was hesitant about doing a boudoir but knew my husband would love it and I’m so glad I did! Kaley makes you feel SO comfortable. She directs you and knows the angles where you will look your best. She made our engagement shoot effortless and she really captures your love. I don’t like being in front of the camera but Kaley has a way about her that makes you feel like the camera is not even there. And our wedding photos - OH. MY. GOD. I have gotten SO many compliments on them and everyone says it looks our wedding photos are straight out of a magazine, and I agree! I truly could not be happier with them! Aside from Kaley’s talented photography skills, she is just an amazing person all around. She genuinely wants to get to know you and help in any way she can, she accommodates with timelines and planning, she regularly checks in with you and responds promptly, and she actually texts (if that’s your method of choice)! For me, this really made our relationship feel more personal and less business-like. One other thing I really loved about Kaley’s process was the in depth questionnaires she has her clients fill out. In these, you answer what you want most out of your boudoir/engagement/wedding photography and how she can best assist you. It’s the little details like these that make Kaley stand out from the rest. She was so personable and friendly, and her portfolio speaks for itself. We knew we wanted her as our photographer as soon as we saw her photos, and then after speaking with her, it was an easy decision. She was great at communicating with us prior to meeting in person, and she made two people who are very awkward in front of a camera extremely comfortable and brought the best out of us in her shots. I was amazed by how easily she got natural emotions and reactions from us and her directing made it really easy for us to not overthink it. She hyped us up and made us feel photogenic even when we thought we wouldn't be! Even with COVID happening prior to our wedding, she made sure the photography wasn't one of our worries and she did a great job putting us at ease. She even texted us a few times to check in and see how we were doing, which was so sweet and thoughtful of her! She really treats you like family. We even had asked her about some other wedding things and she came through with lots of tips and helpful info for us, which we highly appreciated and was totally above and beyond! On the wedding day, she was fun and organized and knocked out all the shots we wanted with our wedding party and families as well as all the romantic couple shots pretty quickly so we could rejoin the party back at the venue and not miss anything. She picked out beautiful locations for shots and really showed all of our personalities in the photos. We were blown away by all the gorgeous photos she got on the wedding day and she made the day look just as magical as we remembered it. We had such a difficult time picking which ones to frame! She also sent us a few teaser photos the day of our wedding so we had beautiful photos to post right away the next morning! After seeing the preview photos, all of our friends wanted to see the full galleries as soon as we received them and when they did, they all gushed over all of them! Tasha and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Kaley and we absolutely LOVED having her as our photographer for both our engagement photos and wedding photos! We'd recommend her to literally anyone looking for an amazing wedding or engagement photographer. We both feel so lucky that we were able to have her photograph our special day and giving her 5 stars doesn't feel like enough!

the kind of person you’d want at your wedding even if she wasn’t photographing it. She makes you feel so comfortable, so natural, and is so supportive. For people like my husband, who is not comfortable behind the camera, I was amazed at the way she could direct us and simultaneously make us forget she was even there with a camera. She has an incredible eye and is so creative, she was great with communication, checking in, answering questions even unrelated to photography (as a new friend and with what is included in her package - a whole wildly helpful booklet of advice). It ended up being a little cold and rainy but she had no hesitation to go outside for photos (which turned out AMAZING, despite the cold and rain!). as no small task. We were going for: folksy, gritty, boho, romantic, Scandinavian. We set to researching to find our person, our photography person. We were looking for someone whose style stirred our spirits and whose work captured our moods, whose aesthetic vibed with ours. I knew that I needed to love this person (hopefully a woman, we always want to support womxn-owned businesses and bosses) and have that person love me right back through the madness of this experience. Our priorities included finding someone that we could communicate honestly with (and that communicated openly back), that we could trust, that could boss us around when appropriate. We met with a handful of photographers at a local coffee shop but the shop sparkled the night we met with Kaley. We connected with her right away (me especially because I’m more sensitive than my husband), we were kindred spirits, we had a stellar and super helpful initial conversation. We asked her to be our photographer before we even parted ways that evening. From the time I first reached out to Kaley, by referral from a friend of a friend, she was warm, enthusiastic, encouraging, adaptable and the moments she would capture for us in the months since that first night–that will always be our most precious memories–are really the sweetest thing. She invited me to reach out with any concerns or curiosities anytime and she was always responsive and resourceful. I reached out and she was so excited at our idea to do a housewarming shoot, and was more than up for the challenge of including our birds (who are notoriously uncooperative). “Super sweet and talented” is such an understatement. e was! Right from the start she was so easy to work with. She was able to help us troubleshoot locations for engagement photos when all of our sessions kept getting rained out. She was always willing to offer suggestions for clothing options and was able to help us feel relaxed when posing for photos was not our forte. At the wedding she was a dream. She helped us capture all of the important things, and also ensured we got all of our family portraits done in a timely fashion- even with an incredibly large family! All of the photos we got back are simply beautiful, and we are still getting compliments on them and on her! I cannot recommend her enough!

My husband is not comfortable in front of the camera, and having Kaley give him directions made him SO COMFORTABLE. What's best is that she doesn't feel like a "vendor", she is a friend and guest that just happens to be taking the best pictures ever.
