About this vendor
"By chasing our hopes and dreams, we inspire others to chase theirs--by being open and giving of our light, we lift the spirits of others, who then reflect light to another, and another."
I believe that my best brides, seniors, wives, and mothers come to me because they see glimpses of transparency, combined with my professionalism and talent and know that we were meant to work together. We connect because they are inspired and, know of their worth and beauty deep within. I've found that professional photographs of this crazy, beautiful life and the people that surround me have truly helped me find, inspiration, solace and beauty in what I HAVE instead of what else I want. They are priceless time capsules of organic beauty that I cannot wait to share with my children someday.

On top of being an extraordinarily gifted photographer with an amazing eye for those jaw dropping shots, Kali is also an amazingly warm and kind person who will have you feeling so...
comfortable and flawless in front of her lens. Kali shot my wedding with a second shooter to ensure that the guys got the same 'getting ready' attention that the girls did, and both perspectives for the first look. She is very organized with the information you get prior to the wedding to guarantee you get all those family shots you need, and has a way of capturing those sweet candid moments that make your heart melt.
In the beginning of wedding planning I search very long and hard for the perfect photographer. I stumbled upon Kali and fell in love with the delicate and soft artistry of her phot...
os. Engagement pictures and wedding day went great then came the bad news on Christmas Eve of all days she calls me to let me know that her hard drive bad crashed and she was extremely sorry but a good portion of the photos of my wedding were unrecoverable. When we received the link for the pictures it was extremely fluffed with extra photos probably that wouldn’t have made the cut. The most emotional and devastating part is there is absolutely no family formals, no pictures of me and my mom but 1, none of me and my brother and niece, none of my wife’s family or anything formal. We chose Audubon Clubhouse for the oak grove and setting for formal pictures. All formal photos were gone - I’m completely devastated. Kali offered us a photo album of terrible photos and a make up session. I am sorry but you cannot recreate your wedding day or that smile on your face. My wife’s family lives out of town and as do my bridesmaids. So this “let me make it up to you” was totally unacceptable. I know we can never get those photos back but it’s heartbreaking that the most important day of my life cannot be shared in photos we paid $3500 for. Kali can move on and learn from her mistake but spending the amount of money we did to receive nothing captured on our wedding day is appalling.
Kali Norton - Kali takes beautiful photos, but when her camera gets 'corrupted' and your wedding memories are lost, she only offers to take a family photo. Too bad most of the wedd...
ing party and family are out of town and we can never recapture that night. NO MONEY WAS OFFERED IN RETURN!!!!!🤔. I truly believe a real professional would offer a complete refund.
Kali is such a pleasure to work with and trust me, we didn’t make it easy! Between giving her less than 5 months notice and then having the non-event Hurricane Nate show up, there ...
was plenty that could have gone wrong.
Kali was so personable and made us feel so comfortable!! We had a small, intimate wedding that was full of love and surprises and quirky moments that Kali and her second shooter captured perfectly!
I can’t gush enough about how beautiful our pictures turned out. I will not only be recommending Kali to everyone I know but also can’t wait to have her capture all of our special moments in the future!

ery detail! She made us feel very at ease and was, therefore able to capture some very candid shots. My daughter continues to use Kali to this day to capture the important milestones in her family's life.

omes to commanding a crowd to get the 'list of family shots' done efficiently, she is mighty! She's a professional across the board, but you can't walk away from her at the end of the job without feeling like she's touched your soul in the best way. She was able to capture the personality of my husband and I, but also all of my guests! She gets to know the room, and makes the best use of her time capturing great shots of everyone AND all the small details! A storyteller for sure, she makes sure your wedding is captured behind the lens the same way you and your guests enjoyed it. Choosing Kali Norton was one of the easiest and best decisions I made for my wedding!
Think of your most perfect idea of how you want your wedding photos to turn out....and then somehow imagine them being even more than that. If Kali photographs your special day, I ...
promise that you will have all the above and more! From the get-go, Kali extended the warmth, sincerity, and excitement she had for us and our wedding starting with great communication through emails, then meeting in person in New Orleans for a get-to-know-you lunch, and following up with us over Skype to plan once more before our big day. We can't say enough about Kali (and her husband Preston!) and how they made two people who aren't really comfortable being in the spotlight, at ease on a very long, emotion-filled day - the photographs are the proof, though. We both saw our wedding day with a whole new set of eyes and I could not stop smiling while reviewing each shot that was taken. We started with Kali as our wedding photographer, but ended the day with a life long friend. Thank you again!!
We've had the pleasure of working with Kali for our 3 year long engagement, so there was no question about her shooting our wedding! She takes the time to truly get to know her cli...
ents, and as a result, we've gained a friend! Lord knows how much I emailed or texted her about our vision for each of our shoots and our wedding, and she was patient and more than willing to help each time! Not to mention, she captures our vision to a T!!My husband and I are beyond grateful and blessed that we've been able to work with Kali over the past few years! Simply the best! 😘❤️
Kali was amazing. I normally hate to have my picture taken, but she made us both feel so comfortable and relaxed. We had so much fun with her and the photos turned out beautiful!
I can't say enough wonderful things about Kali. She is an absolute dream to work with and made us feel comfortable the entire time. The day of our wedding, it stormed, but Kali sta...
yed positive and we were lucky enough to have the rain clear up and take some amazing shots! She also kept me calm and reassured me that we would have plenty time when we ran an hour and a half behind schedule. She is super laid back and her bubbly personality puts you at ease. She literally thinks of everything and I felt comfortable with letting her take control (this is coming from a control freak and perfectionist). I had no doubt that she would capture our day beautifully. I chose her because I knew there would be no worries or concerns about her work. She not only took care of our photography, but also lent a hand when I needed suggestions on other vendors. I've followed her work for some time and I just love that she's not really a posed photographer. She likes the more candid shots which allowed us to relax and be ourselves. I could go on and on about how phenomenal Kali is. She is an excellent photographer and friend. I couldn't think of anyone better to capture our love and our best day ever!
Kali! I cannot say enough about this sweet lady and her AMAZING work. If you want clean images that aren't over edited, images that look soft and romantic, she's your photographer...
.
Seriously, we booked her a month before the wedding date and she was so professional and accommodating. She really gets to know her clients and her creativity & talent is evident in every picture. My husband does not like taking pictures but Kali made us so comfortable and you can see that in the pictures. All the picture turned out so natural and just.. beautiful.
If you're looking for a photographer, consider Kali first. You will not be disappointed.

gined! My husband hates taking pictures but always comments how comfortable Kali makes him feel after we've finished. She captures the little details that I could often overlook and I'm so grateful for that! She really captures your personalities and story which is why we continue using her for everything! She handled our wedding day schedule and was super flexible when we got a few minutes off track so that we wouldn't stress. You won't regret choosing her!
I don't think there are words to explain Kali's genuine spirit. From day one of working with her I knew I was in the right hands. I do not love to be photographed, but Kali always...
made me feel comfortable and confident. She made us laugh and in the end our pictures were so natural and indescribably beautiful. I am continually in awe of all of her bridal and wedding photographs and I would choose her over and over again. If you're looking for a photographer who can truly connect with you and your vision as well as produce beautiful work then you've found her.
I truly loved everything Kali had to offer her amazing personality reflexs in her work. She made my wife and i's big day an easy experience. I would highly recommend her to anyone!...
When you do a photoshoot or have your wedding day she is fast on a return on the pictures and they look amazing.
Wedding planning is one of the top most stressful experiences I've ever had. As a perfectionist and being indecisive to a fault, I was overwhelmed by all of the decision making inv...
olved with planning my dream wedding, but the easiest decision I made was booking Kali as our photographer. As always, I did my research before booking, comparing value and artistic quality of photographers all around the Gulf Coast, and in the end, I had my heart set on Kali. She is wonderful to work with, both personable and professional, and thank God one of us is organized (hint, not me). I am absolutely in love with our engagement and wedding pictures, so much so that I am actually having a hard time choosing only a few to frame. Also, it deserves to be said that on the day of our outdoor garden wedding, it poured all day long and at times, I was a nervous wreck. Kali came through with the utmost professionalism and assured me that our pictures would still be everything I dreamed. And they were. She stayed collected and organized despite the day running behind schedule due to the weather and was able to capture the memories in beautiful detail while working around a bit of chaos. I am so grateful to have these moments documented so timelessly to return to over and over again.
Stop whatever you're doing right now and book Kali. There's a lot of stress before the wedding making sure that you choose a vendor that understands who you are and the type of wed...
ding you want and I can 100% say that is why I chose Kali. Looking through her gallery I loved the style of pictures she chose, but the time she took to really understand who Tom and I were was what stood out. We honestly didn't give her any direction other than just make sure that our personalities are captured and every single person that has viewed our photos has said its the most accurate and beautiful reflection of our relationship. On the wedding day, Kali will be your companion bringing a fun and calming spirit to the room. You'll forget that you're on camera and soak in the day. My pictures are more than I could have ever dreamed of, but I am most thankful that we could work with someone as special as Kali. There is truly no better wedding photographer out there.
Kali Norton Photography deserves more stars than just five! As a young bride, I feared that vendors and photographers would walk all over me. Some surely tried but Kali was so kind...
and full of advice that saved me in many situations. She gives so much to her brides! Aside from being completely smitten with her airy style and aparent artistry, I fell for her attention to detail and organization (that matched my own!!). You will feel like your wedding is meant for publishing after receiving your photos AND she's organized?! Seriously. Perfection. I could go on and on about Kali and her perfect little self!
Kali has such an eye for detail, and she beautifully captured our wedding from the ceremony to the reception she did not miss anything! Wedding planning can be so stressful, but wo...

t my wedding in June 2014 and the photos are everything I ever dreamed of! They were a dream to work with and made everyone feel confortable in front of the camera, even those who were apprehensive. They spent most of the day with us, snapping pictures as we were getting ready. They never imposed, quietly got amazing shots, and also made us laugh numerous times. I so enjoyed having them as part of my day. I recommend them a million times! Can I give her six stars?? :)
