My wife and I were admittedly nervous about wedding day photos. It was important to us to capture our celebration, but neither of us know how to pose and we were worried we'd end up looking panicked and awkward. Thank goodness for Kami! She has such a fun, joyful energy that immediately makes you feel at ease. Her excitement is contagious and she keeps you laughing the whole time. She is the ultimate hype woman! In fact, she made the photoshoot so fun that we forgot all about our nerves! As a result, we actually look natural in the photos, which we didn't think would be possible. She was also incredibly organized and made sure we efficiently captured all the family and friend pictures we requested, which we know was not a small task. Finally, we are so impressed with the turnaround time-- just THREE days after our wedding, she sent us a sneak peek gallery full of photos. They are stunning and really capture the absolute joy of the big day. We couldn't be happier and feel so excited to see the final album. We can't say enough good things about Kami. She's simply the best!

You already know her photos are out of this world if you’re reading this review. Let me highlight all her other amazing qualities. You know those rare people you meet in life that are literally sunshine in human form and every person adores them? That is Kami. She is the best vibes, hilarious and someone you instantly want to be best friends with. I can’t tell you how much this will impact you and your guests mood and translate into your photos. Our wedding was 3 months ago and my guests still talk about how amazing she was. Kami is the most trustworthy human. A pretty important quality for the person that has all your wedding photos on their camera and third wheels your wedding day! She will show up early, scout out your venue for the best shots, keep you on timeline, and capture every moment and more that you could ever want. Kami DELIVERS. She was the most helpful vendor we worked with during the wedding planning process and has incredible guides for planning your engagement shoot and wedding timeline. She sent us over 100 preview shots within a week of our wedding! Her edits are immaculate and she perfectly captures every emotion of the day. I adore everything about Kami and feel so lucky she captured my most important life moments!

We are SO lucky to have snagged Kami as our wedding photographer! She is a total joy to work with throughout the entire process. She is so easy to talk to, and she radiates joy and kindness that make you feel like your best friend is running around making your wedding day wonderful. Also, she is clearly a total boss at her job. She can be in charge and wrangle family members for photos, but also seamlessly blend into the background to capture fabulous candids. I never felt like we were posing or making photos happen, the whole experience was very natural and easy. Her authentic friendliness and easygoing personality made my husband and I feel very comfortable. Obviously Kami’s photos speak for themselves, but how she got them is a true testament to how amazing she is at her job. She made us look good in our photos by giving us simple instruction that made us laugh, relax, and enjoy sweet moments together. We’re still hearing from our guests about how awesome she was weeks after the wedding! Working with her was fabulous, and we could talk for hours about how much we recommend hiring her as your photographer!

Kami was amazing to work with! She was so fun and helped keep everything light hearted and her energy is unmatchable. She is thoughtful, kind, and made us feel very comfortable for our big day. I have waited way too long to leave this review, but working with Kami was one of the highlights of our wedding! The funny thing is, I actually found her while I was helping my friend look for a photographer for her wedding in 2018, before I had even started dating my now husband, and when he proposed in 2020 I knew I would be reaching out to her ASAP. Not only is her style seriously dreamy, bright and airy, but she is always open your suggestions while simultaneously offering a well of knowledge on posing/secret spots to shoot/ways to loosen you & your partner up! We first learned how amazing she was when she got behind the camera for our engagement shoot in 2021, and she kept us laughing all day long. We literally spent 6+ hours together, had lunch, gabbed, got to know each other and by the sunset portion of our shoot, she even had my husband (who is not a super big fan of being in front of a camera) relaxed and comfortable, posing so naturally. We knew for sure at that point we had picked the right gal for the job, and she did not disappoint! Having her around for the big day brought not only a sense of calmness & security, but also such fun, so many laughs and SUCH. AMAZING. PICTURES. She seriously nailed the brief, and we're so lucky that we got to work with her! The pictures will last us a lifetime and every time I look back at that I'm, reminded how just how joyful and quite frankly magical our day was, all thanks to our amazing vendors. So if you're considering Kami as the photographer for your big day, I CANNOT recommend her enough! Seriously, do yourself the favor and book her as far in advance as possible. Seattle, you're so lucky to be getting Kami as a more permanent fixture in the wedding industry, and I cant wait to see which couples lives she changes out there!

Kami is absolutely amazing and the best photographer around!! Not only is she incredibly talented but she has the best personality. She makes you feel so good and comfortable in front of the camera and is great at directing you. She knew how important it was to my husband and I to join our cocktail hour so she got our photos done quickly and did an outstanding job. I truly cannot speak more highly about Kami. We also did a family/engagement shoot with her and she was so wonderful to our 7 year old and made him shine in front of the camera. You must have Kami’s talent and energy at your wedding or photoshoot!! Hiring her was the best decision we made.

Don’t think twice about booking Kami - she was the absolute best wedding photographer I could have ever hoped for! She was the first vendor that we secured, and even from the initial conversation we had, she made me feel so excited about the process. On wedding day, Kami was so punctual and kept everything on schedule and on time with such ease. She also has the most infectious and upbeat personality you could ever hope for - she got us all so amped up and excited about the big day, from getting ready, to group shots, to capturing the special moments between us. Additionally, Kami got us our previews within 48 hours of the event and they were OUTSTANDING! our family and friends loved both Kami and her second shooter, and we got rave comments about how spectacular the preview photos were as well. Let me tell you.... booking Kami was one of the first vendors we booked for our wedding and easily one of the best decisions we made!!! Not only is she incredibly talented (as seen by her beautiful work) but she is so kind and makes you feel so comfortable behind the camera! Our engagement pictures turned out amazing! For our wedding - she gave a great detailed questionnaire to make sure she captured our vision, and let me tell you- KAMI EXECUTED!!!!! We received our sneak peek pictures 48 hours after our wedding, and WOW!!!!! We are so obsessed with them!! Have already received rave reviews from our friends and family! During the wedding day, she was calm, organized, and kept everyone on track- which is saying a lot for navigating a large bridal party and family!!! If you want insanely beautiful pictures - book Kami for your photos, you will NOT be disappointed!!!!

After securing our venue in Mexico, securing Kami as our photographer was an easy and immediate next step, having known her since high school and always loving her work as seen through social media. What I didn't realize was that we were getting SO MUCH more than just a photographer. Kami is your voice of reason, HYPE woman (this is an understatement), comedian, FRIEND, and 10000% the kind of person you want to be a part of your big day. and literally all days...she is that cool. What many brides-to-be don't realize (me included), are that the photographs themselves are only ONE factor to take into consideration when selecting a photographer. You spend literally HOURS with your photographer on the biggest day of your life, through all the emotional, intimate, exciting and special moments. Having Kami with us during these moments was easily, without a doubt, one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, if not the best. Let alone, her photographs are absolutely FABULOUS!!!!!! We appreciated so much getting a few sneak peaks just ONE week following our wedding - OMG!! We had so many guests at our wedding approach us during and afterwards saying how much they loved our photographer. For Kami to make an impression on guests, even ones that weren't in the wedding party, really just shows how unbelievable Kami was. BRIDES, there are so many stressful and difficult decisions to make throughout this process... hiring Kami should not be one of them. SHE IS THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU KAMI!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW WOW WOW!! Kami is the ABSOLUTE GREATEST and the best wedding decision we could have made. After I reached out to her via message, we scheduled a phone call and it was instantly like talking to an old friend. She is kind and funny and loves dogs which is obviously extremely important! My husband and I are not great at posed photography and we don't particularly love it but with Kami it was so easy and natural....she may have even made the experience fun. It was important to us that our wedding photos didn't feel stuffy and she more than delivered. Our photos are absolutely stunning and we couldn't be happier. Also, did I mention she is just the absolute coolest?

Kami is SO INCREDIBLY GOOD at her job. She seriously blew us away. We were, admittedly, not looking forward to the picture taking aspect of our wedding. But it turned out to honestly be one of the most fun parts. We did an engagement shoot with Kami too, and from the first picture she made us feel super relaxed. She's a magician. She's so good at keeping you laughing - you honestly forget she's taking your picture. It never felt staged or posed - just natural and fun! It feels like you’re hanging out with a friend that happens to have a camera. This makes for the most fun and happy pictures that perfectly capture the energy/emotions of the wedding day/weekend. We cannot imagine our wedding without her. SERIOUSLY SHE IS THE BEST.

On a scale of 1-10, Kami scores a 10,000! Even on our first zoom call with her we could feel her positive energy, excitement, and passion for her craft, and we knew we had to book her. Although we originally booked just for the wedding, we added on an engagement session as a practice run for the wedding. Kami immediately brightened up a grey cloudy day and made the session effortless and fun, and eliminated our camera-shyness. We were so pleased with the whole experience, and were BLOWN AWAY when the photos arrived! They were so bright and dynamic and they brilliantly captured the day! She brought the same magic and bright energy again and again with our following elopement session and finally on our big wedding day. Organized and flexible, she was a rockstar and went above and beyond to make sure each session we had with her was fun, memorable, and effortless.

I could literally cry writing this because I don’t know how else to express how amazingly wonderful, funny and talented Kami is! I could not have had a better photographer (now friend) for our beautiful wedding day. Thank you so much Kami for everything you do and for just being YOU. Love ya! xoxo

There are just no words to describe how happy we are we found Kami. Since our first conversation with her, we knew she was the photographer for us. She was so open and honest about everything and walked us through everything from beginning to end. We were so nervous for our engagement session since we’ve never been photographed, but we both walked away feeling so confident and happy. Kami hyped us up the whole time, made us feel so comfortable. The day of our wedding was beyond perfect mostly because of Kami. She was so calm, collected and got us on track for everything. She made both of us feel AMAZING and our whole first look/bridal party photos felt like a party. All our friends and family were so comfortable and excited that she was there to walk us through everything. There’s so much we could say about Kami but to keep it short, she was the best investment of our lives. She is absolutely worth it and anyone would be lucky to have her capture their big day.

You can tell that Kami is completely passionate about photography and working with others based on everything she does! From her website to her social media, every photo that she captures is truly a piece of art! Kami photographed my wedding this past December and from the moment of hire, Kami is fully invested in getting to know the bride and groom in order to capture the moments that mean the most to us. She is prompt in her emails, always reaching out to make sure all questions and concerns are addressed, and works well in collaborating with a wedding planner and other vendors involved. Once wedding day arrived, I can't thank her enough for the energy and positivity she brought out in everyone! As someone who is camera shy, Kami made me feel so comfortable and confident in front of the camera. Overall, my wedding photos turned out beautifully and I love that I can easily access them online. I definitely recommend her!

There are not enough words to describe Kami. That is mainly why this review has taken so dang long! Do yourself a favor and book her as your photographer. Throughout the entire process of booking, postponing, planning, she was always caring & helpful. Her energy is infectious. She makes you feel comfortable and at ease and is the all time hype woman! The whole day it was like she was part of the crew not a photographer. I cannot count how many times family & friends complimented her work and how much they just wanted to hang out with Kami. She has been basically adopted into our family & friend circle! Her artistry and vibe is all real! Hands down she will be your favorite vendor and person on your wedding day. We love her! 100/10 would recommend!

Kami is incredible!! From the beginning of the planning process to the day of the wedding her enthusiasm was infectious. It was the quickest decision we made on a vendor! We wanted someone who would make us feel comfortable the day of our wedding and still capture those sweet posed moments. The family/bridal/couple photos couldn't have gone by faster and couldn't be more beautiful. Could not recommend more!

Kami truly is the BEST! Not only are her photographing skills unmatched, her warm and outgoing personality makes you feel SO comfortable about having your photos taken! We hired Kami for our engagement photos and for our wedding day. I was a bit nervous at first because I didn't want to come off as awkward, silly, or cheesy. The second you meet her you will feel so comfortable- like one of your friends is taking your pictures, not someone you've just met! Not only that, Kami made the planning process of hiring other vendors, such as our videographer, makeup, hair (and any other vendors you might need) so easy! She provided us with recommendations for vendors (all who were AMAZING!) along with a suggested timeline to help keep us organized. She is a true PRO!!! I trusted her with everything and am so glad I did. She knows what she is doing and I could go about my wedding day knowing she would capture every little thing perfectly!

Our one year anniversary is fast approaching so I guess there is no better time to write this review! Kami is literally the entirety of what everyone has already written and more. Her images are insane - the magazine worthy kind, and she has a glittering, bubbly, one of a kind personality which is super important if you have a curmudgeonly husband who hates photos (like mine). From a business perspective, she’s a pro - super organized and knowledgeable about weddings and has a great network of vendors in the area. What stood out the most for us about Kami is probably different than other couples experiences, but worthy of explaining. We got married during the pandemic and she went ABOVE and BEYOND her duties as a photographer. She checked in on us without being pushy, was flexible when our plans changed, was patient when we didn’t have a plan, helpful when we were searching for a new venue, and showed genuine care and concern throughout the whole year. She was the one consistent vendor who rode an emotional rollercoaster with us from our exciting engagement photos in Jan 2020, to our dispiriting wedding postponement in May 2020, to our small and joyful pandemic wedding in Nov 2020. I actually don’t know how we could have done any of it without her and we will forever be grateful she was along for that ride. If you’re looking for a wedding photographer - she’s the one. 10 stars and the moon!

Kami was a dream to have as our photographer! She made all our photo wishes come true. Her pictures are STUNNING, vibrant and full of life! She captured our joy, our love, our fun, our essence and our party so authentically and beautifully. I love all her pictures of my wedding so much that it's hard to pick favorites. She also has an incredibly positive, kind and easy going energy. I felt like I had a friend shooting the wedding. She made me feel beautiful, confident and in my skin. I just wanted to keep hanging out with her. I can not recommend Kami enough. Her work is EXCELLENT and she is a gem of a human.

Booking Kami for our photos was an incredible experience from beginning to end. We are not a couple that enjoys taking photos and had a lot of anxiety going into our engagement shoot. Kami made it feel so natural and fun, sometimes we forgot it was a professional shoot. Come wedding day, neither of us had any anxiety about being the center of attention and posing for thousands of pictures. We knew we would feel comfortable in front of the lens and that Kami would capture the day perfectly. We’ve just received our preview pics and are STUNNED at how they have turned out. We can’t recommend Kami highly enough for her professionalism, easy-going attitude, and fun atmosphere. Side note: we also want to be friends with her because she is so cool lol.

This review is long overdue because I couldn’t quite put into words how perfect it was to work with Kami. The span of 3 weeks for our engagement shoot, my boudoir session, and our small wedding had minimal planning, but Kami helped it flow like it was all meant to be. She is magnetic, hilarious, genuine, and absolutely THE BEST at teasing out natural smiles and laughter. Everything was fun and comfortable—we left each interaction feeling like models. Our wedding was elopement style, with just our parents and my best friend performing the ceremony, in Balboa Park. Then we had a taco and beer backyard reception with friends. Kami captured it all so beautifully! I am so grateful we were able to work with her! If you’re on the fence, BOOK KAMI! She is your missing piece!

Kami was the best ever!!! She was so professional and fun. She made us feel so comfortable and relaxed through the whole process. If you want to have an absolute fabulous time and truly enjoy getting your photos taken, Kami is your girl!!! I first noticed how sunny, bubbly, and happy everyone looked in her photos and now I fully understand why. Kami is an absolute pleasure to work with! She is the ultimate hype person and ensures that she captures the bright, happy mood of the moment. Kami also provides a wealth of useful information and is always there to answer any questions you have, whether it’s related to photography or any other wedding-related concerns. My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Kami for both our engagement photos and the wedding. We had never done a photoshoot together and Kami made sure we both felt comfortable, natural, and most of all, had fun with it! She gave us direction when needed, but really just let us be ourselves and laugh our way through it. The photos were better than either of us could have ever imagined -- great framing and the editing was on point. After the engagement session, we were even more stoked and ready to have Kami by our side to capture the magic of the big day. Her positivity and warm personality brought an energy like no other that made us feel like superstars. Kami is absolutely hands down the best wedding photographer! From the minute you meet her you want her not only as a photographer but as a friend (actually a best friend) She is outgoing, fun, down to earth, real, genuine, FUNNY, the list really does go on. Kami traveled to Palm Springs to shoot our engagement pictures and drove out willingly and without hesitation. She made it so easy and fun. She makes you feel extremely comfortable and has all the phrases to make you smile and laugh. On our wedding day, she not only made us feel good but had our bridal party cracking up too! Kami’s pictures are stunning and she captures moments in a fun unique way. We can’t say enough great things about her! By hiring Kami you are doing yourself a BIG favor, BIG, HUGE!

I cannot recommend Kami enough. If you are thinking of booking her and on the fence, just DO IT!! You won't regret it. She was hands down our favorite vendor for our wedding day and made our entire day feel so special. When first looking for a wedding photographer, I was drawn to Kami's work not only because her photos were beautiful, but also because the couples all looked like they were having a BLAST. I didn't realize how much time we would spend with the photographer on our wedding day, and Kami's infectious energy made the entire experience so much fun. She made us feel like a million bucks! I didn't realize how much I would need that on the day of, but she seriously made us feel like the most beautiful people in the world. My husband and I are both usually so awkward taking pics together, and she did such a great job of making us feel comfortable. Not only is her energy amazing, but she also was incredibly professional and knew how to command a room! We had a ton of family portraits and she was able to "herd the cats" with ease. She kept everything on time, and we even got through our photos quicker than we thought so we could get down to the venue early, enjoy cocktail hour, etc. Lastly, I appreciated how Kami was able to blend in during the actual event - she captured all the moments but wasn't "in anyone's face". I barely noticed her when she was taking candid shots. All in all, as you can tell, I'm obsessed with Kami and she made our wedding day. She exceeded our expectations in every way. 12/10 recommend!!!!!!!

My partner and I are thrilled by our decision to work with Kami. From the first phone conversation where she and I talked out what she would photograph for us, she made me feel comfortable, listened to, and even more excited for the wedding. We had a small ceremony at Cabrillo National Monument and Kami took so many amazing photos that surpassed every expectation we had. After the ceremony, Kami was able to instruct and direct our family members with such efficiency, friendliness, and humor that we were done with portraits in what felt like no time. She is a true professional and made the entire process painless. I normally hate taking pictures, but when Kami walked my partner and I through a series of poses, we had FUN doing it. She was so positive and warm that I forgot to feel self-conscious. She kept us laughing and made us feel completely at ease. Kami captured our wedding in such a beautiful way. She is also SO MUCH FUN. She made our whole bridal party feel comfortable and hyped everyone up. Working with Kami was like working with a friend. A REALLY talented friend. From the moment we met her, we knew that she was the perfect photographer for our wedding day. I came across Kami's work on Instagram and instantly fell in love! What I didn't know is that we wouldn't be able to have her shoot our wedding for another 3 years, but boy was it worth that wait. Having to postpone and reschedule our wedding was a logical nightmare, but Kami was so understanding and supportive during it all. She is so communicative and every time I received an email from her it made me smile. Not everyone's personality comes across via email, but Kami's does and it is so refreshing, especially when you're planning a wedding. Find vendors you like and want to work with it makes the process so much better! Her kind, uplifting and contagious energy is what drew us to her and was exactly what my husband and I needed to feel 100% comfy in front of the camera. And not only did she make us feel comfortable we looked amazing. Only a few days after our wedding we received sneak peeks of the big day and we got to relive the day all over again! She captured all of our emotions perfectly and so many sweet moments of just me a my husband enjoying the day together. I will cherish these photos forever! And to top it all off we received a package in the mail after our honeymoon of our sneak peeks printed and a hand written note from Kami. I just love good old fashion snail mail and this just shows the level of detail and care she has for her craft and couples. Our bridal party and guests all were raving about Kami at the wedding and we were all just blown away when we received the images! Can not say enough great things about our experience. Soooo looking forward to getting my hands on all of the images, but in the meantime, I get to relish in all of the beautiful sneak peeks.

When wedding planning there are a LOT of important decisions you have to make and I can easily say that booking Kami as our wedding photographer was the easiest and best decision we made. Not only is her work AMAZING but she truly makes you feel comfortable and confident which shows in the photos. Ever since we booked her, she was there for every step of the way - providing awesome vendor recommendations, guidance on outfits, timelines, etc. and she stayed organized throughout. She literally checks all of the boxes. On wedding morning when I started getting nervous, Kami walked through the door and I was immediately at ease (my husband said the same)! Long story short, she’s incredibly talented, reliable and an all around amazing person who brings the best energy to your special day. BOOK KAMI. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. Incredible is not a strong enough word. If you are reading this review then you are already considering Kami. Go ahead and book her and I promise you will not be disappointed. Everything about working with Kami was natural, and stress / hassle free. We hired Kami for a small wedding turned elopement (thnx 2020). Kami is an absolute pro. The perfect balance of personable creative artist meets organized and efficient business woman. It was most important to us that we get a lot of direction from our photographer. I was going for the posed “un-posed" look. I didn't want to spend money getting dressed hiring a photographer only to have an awkward hand or fake simile in our wedding photos. Kami not only gave direction, she did it so naturally. Honestly, me and my hubs have never looked better. We were completely put at ease. Kami clearly has a lot of experience here, she caught way out of place detail, like "tuck your arm here instead of there, you’ll thank me later". I am thanking her 1000 times over. We had the opportunity to let Kami know in advance any particular shots or areas of the venue that we loved. She did an amazing job of researching and scouting the shots in advance. We didn’t take all our photos with the same single background, but captured many angles + backdrops and moments. She found us a tiny rose garden at sunset. Talk about a money shot. I couldn't have imagined a better photo. Additionally, we had a wedding planner, but Kami was great with developing our timeline to make sure we had proper lighting and captured the sunset (a few hours after the ceremony). All of this is on top of the usual qualifications you'd look for in a photographer Punctual - in fact early to look around, chat with us, and research. Responsive - emails, Zoom calls, follow up. The portfolio - a true artist. Absolutely no issues, which is a rarity in wedding planning. Don't hesitate here. Kami will exceed even the highest expectations. She will put you at ease and your photos will be stunning. I couldn't be happier with our decision to go with Kami. Now I just need an excuse to work with her again in the near future.

Stop looking for photographers - you’ve found the best one!! Here’s why: 1. She’s a tremendously talented photographer. Kami does her research, keeps you relaxed/comfortable, and is super creative. She was extremely prepared for our engagement shoot and on our wedding day and achieved amazing results (look at her albums). On our wedding day, she positioned herself thoughtfully, and respectfully. 2. Kami is a true professional, super fun and keeps it light. She brings amazingly positive energy, is fun to be around (an absolute bundle of joy) and has a higher level of emotional intelligence than anyone we know. She made us so comfortable in our pictures which reflected in how much we loved how they turned out. 3. Kami is a leader in both her field and as a person. If you could create a perfect photographer (and person) to go through a pandemic with, it would be her. Throughout some of the most difficult times of the COVID-19 crisis, she was calm, empathetic and so committed to making sure we were doing well, even when we had to reschedule, etc. We talked to her multiple times about our situation and she not only made us feel better afterwards, but feel on top of the world. We’ve known Kami over the last 1.5 years including through the COVID-19 pandemic and have learned about how she is an amazing photographer (again look at her albums!!), but more importantly an amazing person. How do I give Kami more than 5 stars???? It's hard to express in words how amazing Kami is -- as a person & as a photographer. My husband, family, and friends loved her worth ethic, professionalism, personality and how passionate she is about her work. We had endless guests compliment our engagement photos and could hardly wait to see the ones from the wedding. From planning to the day off Kami was easy to get ahold of with answering any and all questions we had along the way. Easy to say she was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day, by looking at our wedding photos you would think we had multiple shooters which goes to show her ninja skills of covering everything and producing legit STUNNING photographs that we will cherish FOREVER!. Needles to say Kami is in the family as she has also shot another one of my best friend's wedding and will be our go to girl for special events in the future. I recommend her wholeheartedly to every bride and so thankful to have gotten to dance with her on the dance floor and hug her to show our deepest appreciation on our special day. We got our wedding photos back this past week from Kami and I couldn't start smiling, crying and laughing looking through them because Kami captured our day in a way that tells your story of your wedding and gives emotion in every image! She will capture the moments that you missed out on, the moments that were most important to you and the moments that you didn't know were that important to you until later!! Kami was one of my besties in high school and even though she moved to San Diego, my (now) husband reached out to her 6 months before he proposed to see what weekend she'd be in Seattle and would be able to shoot our proposal - he literally scheduled our proposal around Kami's schedule and I'm so glad he did! The photos from that day and our mini engagement session were amazing and more than what I'd hoped for! When we were starting to plan our wedding, Kami was the only photographer I wanted to shoot our special day and again, we checked to make sure she was free on the dates we were looking at. Luckily, we booked 16 months in advanced, that girl fills up fast! Seriously, if you are flip flopping on whether or not to book Kami, this is your sign to do it!! Kami had a couple calls with us before our wedding and she helped me work through our entire timeline. We had a New Year's Eve wedding, 18 person bridal party (just with bridesmaids & groomsmen), massive family portrait session, all the getting ready photos that I could think of AND the sun set that day around 4pm so we were crunched! Kami helped us re-work our timeline to make sure everything could be fit in before daylight and was able to really keep us organized. Kami was also super helpful when we had the misfortune of our all-inclusive wedding venue shutting down 10 weeks before our wedding date. She started connecting me with people she knew in the Seattle wedding community and gave lots of recommendations on new venues for us to look at. She was so so helpful and helped us feel optimistic that it would all come together, which it did! Our wedding party and family made comments that she was so efficient with our time, made everyone comfortable and was so fun to have around. Kami is so encouraging and will tell you how beautiful you are but also help you if your pose looks weird and will give you tips on how to work with your dress, bouquet and everything else! I'll forever be grateful that we hired Kami - she is worth every penny, including the travel fee! Fly her to your wedding, you will not regret it, you'll love your images and be able to re-live your perfect day through her photos!

I can’t imagine my wedding day without Kami. As we sit here on our honeymoon with about 100 preview pictures, we feel so #blessed. Literally everyone is complimenting Kami in how many pictures she has already given us (our wedding was 5 days ago) and how great they turned out. As a bride, I appreciated how quick to emails Kami was, how flexible, and how she kept me grounded on the day of. It is evident she is a pro at what she does and loves her work. My fiancé has a very hard time smiling on command and she was able to get sooo many smiling ones of him. She is able to put people at ease with her great personality. We love her so much and wish everyone could have her at their wedding!

I just went through an “11 Star Experience” training at work - how can something on a scale of 5 stars be so over the top that it feels like eleven stars...well ENTER IN KAMI OLAVARRIA!!! My husband and I are from Minnesota, but we were getting married out in California - so we had no recommendations or anything to go on. I came across Kami’s work, reached out, and immediately knew she was the one. From the beginning, through meeting her for our engagement pictures in Joshua Tree to our wedding day, everything was so much more than I could have ever expected. Kami made me feel so prepared for the wedding and helped me figure things out I didn’t even know. I can’t say enough good things about just the level of communication and planning that came in beforehand. THEN THE ACTUAL PHOTOGRAPHY WHAT!!! Seriously - for people who are uncomfortable in front of a camera - have no fear because Kami makes it SO FUN! My wish for everyone is that they get to be photographed by Kami - it’s that great. Plus, she kills it on the dance floor. Whatever you’re worried about with a wedding photographer, you absolutely do not have to be with Kami. She’s professional, fun, organized, super communicative beforehand, and DELIVERS on the actual photographs. She felt like our best friend and I am forever grateful the internet gods brought us together. We love you Kami!!!!!!

Kami is so fun and her images are stunning. She's an instant-best-friend type that will make you and your partner feel so comfortable, giggly, and in-love in front of the camera. She talks you through everything and makes you feel so awesome. And did I mention her images are stunning?! Let me tell you, I did not have a magazine-worthy wedding. This was a budgeted endeavor of the taco cart variety. But I was not willing to skimp on a photographer. I knew I wanted a warm artist to capture the evening and I'm so glad I hired Kami. I can't stop looking at the photos and reliving that day. She captured it so sweetly and thoughtfully. I'm so happy her eye captured our day for us. We look so pretty! lol. We look as pretty and happy in those photos as we felt that day, and it's her energy and talent that captures that.

Kami is the BEST! My husband and I had a wonderful experience working with her. She is so fun, knows what she is doing, and knows exactly how to make your photos look candid and beautiful! We just got our previews back and they are TO DIE FOR - we cannot wait to see the rest! Our family and bridal party all raved about her, too. Not mention she dealt with my sassy/difficult mother in such a professional way (not an easy task), and always had my back! I honestly could not recommend her more - hire her!

I do not even know where to start with Kami, she was by far one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day! My new husband and I argue over who can claim finding Kami, we both loved working with her so much. Before we even spoke on the phone we had the best feeling about her, she just radiates good vibes from the first email! We are so happy to of found a photographer that made us feel so comfortable and truly felt like we were old friends just having a good time together all while she capturing us exactly as we are. Of all the decisions we made for our wedding, Kami is easily the best one! She is so professional and friendly and easy to work with and talented!! I am usually very self-conscious so I was expecting to get maybe one or two pictures that I would want to frame or get printed of me but we just got the preview from our wedding and I can't believe how AMAZING they turned out! I'm printing every last one! She really captured the amazing feeling of our big day. Kami's energy is contagious - she was our biggest hype-man and extra set of eyes on literally everything. She listened to every request and even reassured my mom that its okay if the bottom of my dress gets dirty (you only wear it once!). I wish she was in the bridesmaids photos because thats how she felt! Love love love Kami!!

KAMI IS THE QUEEN. This review has taken me almost an entire year to post but that is only because we have been so busy enjoying and loving Kami as real-life friends!! It is true that Kami won our hearts the moment we met her. Already convinced she was THE ONE simply from viewing her outrageous portfolio, we went into our initial meeting with her trying our hardest to play it cool and not scare her off with how much we knew we needed her in our lives. It worked out and we felt beyond blessed to have her on our wedding team every step of the way. Kami did a sunrise boudoir photo shoot with me that was everything I imagined it would be and more! Her ability to make you feel like a million bucks in front of not only her but her camera, is an undeniable gift. Our wedding day would not have been the same without her. She has an expert level of organization and communication to get things done when they need to be done. She provided a helping hand with logistics and was a support system for us from start to finish. Our wedding photos are truly incredible and masterfully done. We are forever grateful to Kami for her love, support and guidance on our wedding day and beyond.

Where do I even begin with Kami?! Short version: HIRE HER!! she is the freaking best photographer, & also probably the coolest human we know. Long version: We found her through a few other friends who hired her for their weddings. We saw how their photos turned out & before I had a date set, I knew Kami had to be our photographer. We worked with her schedule to be sure she could be our wedding photographer. It wasn't until my other friends wedding that we finally met her, up until then it had only been emails (this was our choice since I knew I loved her work & was so confident in the reviews from my friends). Seeing her in action at our friends' wedding made me so sure of the person we hired. She lets you & your partner do your thing. While there are some portrait photos for family, etc., it's much more of capturing the day, not making forced smiles/awkward poses happen. It's all very natural & true to how you would interact. She also captures the candid moments & the raw emotions throughout her photo sessions//your wedding day. Nothing ever feels forced or cheesy which is something I loved about working with her. She also does a great job of reminding you about things to do with your hands/limbs/where to look, so it's very natural. It's also not about her capturing shots for her portfolio. She is there taking photos to capture your day, the way you planned it. She makes it all about YOU. We used her for engagement photos, & the wedding, obviously. She is a great communicator - gets back to you quickly, or will tell you when to expect to hear from her. She delivers photos super fast compared to wedding industry standards & gives you timelines that she sticks to. She cares SOOO much about each of her couples. Having had the unique opportunity to see her at different weddings, I can say that she is such a genuine person, & is so excited for each wedding she shoots. And is genuinely excited & loves each of her couples. It's amazing to see/watch/experience her in action. She advocates for you prior to & the day of, she is sure to ask you questions that you wouldn't even think of prior to so everything is done & taken care of. Day of she is a ninja. We've already gotten some preview photos back (we got married a week ago) & I'm not sure how she was able to capture some shots, I don't even remember her taking some of them. She is the ultimate hype woman. She will be saying "yasss" behind her camera all day & make you feel like the models/royalty that you are. Kami also has a good list of vendors that she likes, which we were able to find our videographer through. So not only if you hire Kami do you get the world's best wedding photographer, you get to work with other vendors she trusts (if you need help finding them). She really wants you to have the best day ever, so if you need help with your timeline, she has suggestions, anything you ask she can probably steer you in the right direction//has ideas. If you want a photographer who is going to care about you & your partner, protect your vision to the core/help your wishes be followed, & someone who feels more like a friend or family member then a vendor Kami is your girl. You spend the most time with your photographer on your wedding day, more then your partner, when you think about it. So you want someone who is on your team, & someone you will also have fun with throughout the day, Kami is this person. If you are even considering her slightly, hire her! You will not regret it!!

If you are reading this, book Kami already! You will be so thankful you did. From our initial meeting, we loved Kami, her energy and approach to capturing our wedding jived with our vision. We met with a few other photographers and instantly knew Kami was for us – we wanted our wedding pictures to be full of laughter, movement & candor. Other photographers tried to sell us on being featured in magazines and showed portfolios of over-enhanced photos. This was not appealing to us and securing Kami as our wedding photographer gave me such a sense of relief and ease. If all else failed and our venue burned down during the ceremony, I knew Kami would still deliver epic photographs. Kami’s fun and bubbly personality allows her to seamlessly blend into any group but she has a quiet command that efficiently moves people into place (picture herding a room of excited girls or inexperienced family members into group photos). Kami is business when she needs to be but always does it with a smile on her face. I am so thankful Kami was on top of my schedule and knew what I wanted pictures of – without her, I would have forgotten to cut the cake or missed sunset timing for pictures. A huge testament to Kami was a few of my guests mentioned that “my photographer was everywhere but was never a nuisance”. As a single-shooter, Kami is exceptionally talented and works like an energizer bunny – I don’t know how she does it! Seriously – within 1 day of our wedding, she sent over 40+ edited teaser photographs. These photographs feature candid moments but are also so flattering! No unfortunate face contortions or eyes half-closed (I’m often guilty of both) – Kami expertly timed each photo to capture the beauty & joy. Kami delivered on everything we were looking for and more! I booked Kami for a pre-wedding boudoir shoot and outside of my wedding day – this may have been my favorite day of 2019! We had so much fun and she made me feel like an absolute queen. We shot for 2 hours and she turned around 150+ edited photographs within 1 week – remarkable! These are some of my most prized possessions, I am so thankful I booked this experience. Finally, I must mention Kami’s professional service and communication – both are world-class and are very important when choosing a vendor partner. She is quick and helpful when responding via email, text, or Instagram. Her billing system is painless and direct through her website. The photo gallery she delivers is also through her website and it’s super easy to see & download all pictures. She is organized, prepared, and entirely competent to deliver on your vision. We could not have selected a better photographer. Thank you Kami!!

I should have written this review two months ago, but I couldn’t find the words. After thinking about it for the past 71 days I finally realized that there is no way to describe Kami that would do her justice. She is literally one of the most amazing humans I have ever met, and she was by far my favorite vendor. Maybe that was because she didn’t feel like a vendor, but a friend. The moment I ran across her website I knew she was the right gal for us. From our first Face Time date (yes, she really cares about you and wants to get to know you!), to our engagement session, to our wedding I was pleased and excited every step of the way with her. She is kind, friendly, organized, and just an awesome person. Kami is someone that my husband and I feel like we have know forever (and we really hope we do). She was our biggest supporter leading up to our wedding, and advocated for us on the day when she knew some other vendors weren’t following our vision. Kami not only is pretty much one of my favorite humans I have ever met, but she is an AMAZING photographer. She is literally magic with a camera. There is no way she was born in this Muggle world. Not only were the photos she took timeless and beautiful, but she captured the awesome party that our wedding was, from the dance floor, with her camera in hand. Kami didn’t feel like a vendor, but a guest of our wedding whom all of our friends and family are still talking about. If we had to do it all over a few details might change, but we would hire Kami over and over and over again! She was worth every single penny and more!

This review is LONG overdue, but NEEDED to be done!! Kami was hired by my at the time boyfriend by recommendation of a wedding planner friend, and WOW did she deliver!! She was there to capture the moments leading up to his proposal, the proposal itself, and did a shoot with us post engagement before we headed up for dinner. She did such a great job of being incognito to photograph the raw emotion we were feeling. She is INCREDIBLE!! As my now husband would say, "Kami is BIG FUN!" She made us feel so comfortable, captured us being us, and all the feeling can be seen in the images. We are so grateful she was there for us!! HIRE HER!! She'll put a smile on your face the whole time she's shooting without even trying.

How do I love Kami? Let me count the ways...Kidding. It's impossible. Kami was THE. BEST. choice we could have possibly made for a wedding photographer. It's like she was conjured up from some magical world that creates best friends who take amazing photos. Every single member of the bridal party told us how much they enjoyed working with her, and countless guests said the same. Kami IS the party and she makes everyone feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Her attitude would be reason enough to hire her, but the PHOTOS! Her photos are amazing. Like, noticeably, "wow, who took these??" amazing. I can't stop looking through our gallery and am debating wallpapering an entire room in them. I'd say vote Kami for President, but she refuses to run. Instead, vote Kami for your wedding photographer (and ask to see pictures of her pup)!

Kami is amazing, to say the least. She is unbelievably talented and can make you feel completely comfortable with her in a matter of seconds. Trusting someone to take your wedding photos is a big deal and Kami takes that responsibility very seriously. Her photos look phenomenal and she is so easy to work with. Although I’ll never personally get married again if anyone ever asks for photography suggestions the first person I will recommend is Kami.

Kami was all around AMAZING. Even though my husband and I live in the PNW and Kami lives in SD, she was so attentive and helpful throughout our entire wedding planning process. She was, by far, our favorite vendor to work with. She enthusiastically traveled out to Leavenworth to shoot our engagement photos, and gave us previews immediately. Day-of, Kami was incredibly helpful, flexible, and fun. I kept changing my day-of timeline up until the week of my wedding and forgot to send an updated timeline to Kami, but she assured me everything would be okay and offered to stay an extra half hour to make sure we got pictures of our send-off. She also brought an additional shooter for portraits due to the size of my bridal party. She thinks of everything! My family and friends LOVED her. I don't know how many times my mom told me how great Kami was, but she doesn't give out rave reviews easily. I constantly look back at both my engagement and wedding photos and am so grateful to have had someone capture those exciting times in our lives in a way that was genuine. I keep thinking about when we'll need more professional photos taken, just to be able to book Kami for something else :) Thank you for everything, Kami!

Guys, I can not stress this enough. KAMI. IS. AMAZING!!! My husband and I decided to do a very small and unconventional wedding in a hotel suite with no wedding party, no decorations, no reception...pretty much nothing to take photos of LOL. But Kami went above and beyond and still managed to deliver absolutely BEAUTIFUL photos! She has such a great eye for spacing and lighting and was always able to get her shots very quickly (even during the overwhelming group/family pictures!). And she is the absolute SWEETEST when you’re in front of the camera. She’ll chat and make sure you’re comfortable and direct you in a way that doesn’t feel forced. The joy she brings to her work is infectious and you’ll find yourself smiling the whole time you’re around her wether she’s taking a photo or not. You will not find a sweeter, more talented photographer than Kami!!

We were so lucky to find Kami! My wife and I live in NYC so planning was not easy. We were referred by a friend and we loved her style. When speaking with her, Kami made us feel comfortable and confident that she could give us the photos we were looking for. Also, her personality was so vibrant and fun, she made it easy to smile and take naturally beautiful photos. We quickly got preview photos back and she knocked them out of the park! People can't believe how good they came out. We couldn't be happier.

My hubby and I are super awkward in front of a camera and Kami made us feel so comfortable. Where to even begin except to say, we found our new best friend. Finding the PERFECT photographer was the most important thing to us after we booked our venue and so started the online search you are all on. Not only were we looking for someone who is able to take bold, bright, beautiful pictures, but even more importantly someone who could capture emotions, while keeping us calm (hard to do right?!) I’ve grown to learn each couple encounters their own challenges along their marriage journey; ours was the diagnosis of stage 4 cancer in my mom the month before our engagement. I hope this is not the case for anyone reading this, but please know if/when wedding stress arises no matter how big or small, YOU WANT KAMI BY YOUR SIDE! Kami is an amazing photographer, but an even more amazing human. From the moment we talked to her and shared what was going on she put us immediately at ease We had a friend capture our engagement photos the moment it was happening so we decided to bypass the traditional engagement photos, thus our wedding was the first time meeting Kami in-person, however this was not a problem at all as she had communicated extremely well throughout our entire process by sending nice check-in emails to ask how we were doing and if we needed ANYTHING. Within about 30 seconds of actually meeting Kami in person we were beaming from her infectious smile and joyous spirit that she glows with. She then proceeded to capture each family members emotion through the day with perfection, all the way down to our 1 year old puppy!!!! (Ps She’s a master dog photographer if you are having your fav 4 pawed family member join your day!!) You may be thinking, well what’s the catch, she must be out of our price range?...good news—there’s none.. She’s just that PERFECT and completely affordable/worth every penny and more. We could not be happier we chose Kami, sooo take our advice and go book her (NOW!) before she books up!!!! Happy wedding planning to all ;)

Kami is amazing!!! When looking for photographers, Kami's page immediately stood out to me because her photos are consistently so beautiful and look so bright and warm. When we had our engagement session with Kami, it became clear that a huge reason why her photos are SO GOOD is because she makes her couples feel comfortable and excited the entire time she is with them! You think you are going to just get some photos taken, but you end up laughing so much and feeling like you just got to hang out with this really cool person who just so happens to be taking your pictures. I am still receiving compliments from our wedding about how fun Kami was to work with. The wedding previews we received are absolutely stunning, she is such a talented photographer!! What is great about Kami is she is a great photographer for absolutely anyone and everyone! If you want the wedding photos of your dreams and to work with the nicest, funniest photographer ever, then you should absolutely work with Kami!
