In fact, in addition to her beautiful work, one of the things that drew us to Kamila was learning that she shot events in both the New Orleans and New York areas, so she gave us a beautiful engagement shoot in New Orleans and then photographed our wedding day in New Jersey. What Kamila does is truly artistry, capturing and highlighting both the moments you've waited for and the moments you would have missed in the chaos (and would have been sorry to miss!) so that all you have to worry about is enjoying your day, as you should. And Kamila included us as active participants in the process--we suggested a few shots we wanted to make sure we got at our venue, and she not only took these, but used our aesthetic sensibility and her own aesthetic sensibility and creative eye to find even more and better photo opportunities in the spaces we were in. She knew the venues cold, the best place for each shot and made wonderful suggestions. After contacting her, I realized immediately how awesome she was going to be to work with. I asked her a million questions not even related to the photography of the wedding, but about food and tourist things, and she was SO incredibly helpful!! She was incredibly professional and organized. She even emailed me months before because she had looked up when the sunset was going to be and wanted to work pictures around that. As a self-proclaimed control freak, I knew she was going to be one of the vendors I didn't have to worry about. And she was very willing to work with us on our budget. I didn't want a "standard package," and she was awesome about listening to what I wanted and making it happen. The pictures turned out beautifully and I could not have been happier!! I would recommend her to anyone and everyone!

Kamila was great- she is really a sweetheart and super patient, (especially when one of my bridesmaids started to tell her how to take her pictures lol). Anyway, I knew the pictures would be awesome, but when i saw them, they were just beyond my expectations. Also, the pictures were uploaded within days of my wedding, which was really a pleasant surprise (I have heard horror stories of waiting months for wedding photos). Anyway, all in all, Kamila is a pleasure to work with, and the quality of her photos are really beautiful- I am so happy I went with my first and ONLY choice and chose to work with her on my wedding day, i would HIGHLY recommend her.

We also had a rather large wedding party and he was good about rallying everyone - it's kind of amazing that she was able to get so many pictures with all 15 people looking at the camera, smiling & with their eyes open!! She and her assistant buzzed around the wedding and snapped shots with extreme stealthiness. They were never in the way and we never felt overwhelmed with flashes or camera lenses in my face. It is really wonderful seeing her photos and thinking "wow how did she get that shot?!" One of the most notable points was the turnaround on my gallery. Our wedding was just over 3 weeks ago and I already have access to hundreds of shots (and more coming!). I was blown away by her efficiency! It took my husband and I about 1 minute after meeting with Kamila for the first time to know she was the one for us. She's is very personable and positive woman - perpetually smiling. This may or may not be important to all people but it really made the difference in choosing her over other candidates. Overall we had a wonderful and memorable experience working with her. For the level of professionalism and skill you will get from Kamila it is more than worth the investment. Do not hesitate - hire Kamila Harris!

The only reason we didn't have her for the ceremony was, because it took place in the Caribbean. We were as happy with the results as with our engagement photoshooting. Kamila has a very sweet personality and she is so unobtrusive, that no one even noticed she was there. She has a very artistic eye, so many of the pictures look like a beautiful piece of art. Also to mention is her fast turn around time. While I know many couples waiting for one year to get their pictures, we've always received them between 3 and 5 weeks. And she would always send some pre-view pictures within only a week.

added complexity of planning a destination wedding brought me to anxiety point a couple of times but never because of Kamila. She was always professional, happy to learn to use Skype for our meetings and more than accommodating to the time difference (I live in London and she's from NYC). Her calm demeanor on the actual day was super helpful as well for both my and the hubby's nerves since we're both pretty camera shy. Even with Hurricane Sandy's disruption she managed to post all her photos and have confirmed her assistant's photos will be uploaded over the next few days which is going above and beyond. Working with Kamila was an absolute pleasure and we couldn't be happier with the photos we've seen so far.
