We cannot recommend Kara of Kandu Events highly enough! If it were possible to give her 10 stars, we would! From our very first call (in March) to wrapping up our wedding night (in October), Kara made our intimate wedding of 45 so flawless and so special. Her poise, positivity, care, and attention to detail allowed us to live in these once-in-a-lifetime moments and experience them fully. Kara is equally so approachable and so professional. While all of our vendors were incredible, Kara's orchestration and coordination with them is what made our wedding so easy, seamless, stress-free, and fun. Kara was 10 steps ahead of us, treating us like VIPs - from grabbing us drinks and food to working with our officiant, DJ, photographer, florist, and caterer and of course with our venue, AutoCamp Cape Cod - it all just felt perfect. That's the only way we can describe it. Kara was technically our day-of coordinator, but she planned with us step-by-step over months, taking calls, making sure our vendors were on time and prepared, leading our rehearsal the night before, moving the wedding night along, planning how to make smores in the rain, grabbing my bouquet when I forgot it, keeping track of all our decor and personal items, and a million other things I'm sure we didn't even see. Our wedding would not have been the special, perfect day it was without her. If you're looking for a day-of coordinator or a more hands on wedding planner to wrangle and lead vendors, craft and keep your timeline moving throughout the night - ESPECIALLY if you're getting married at AutoCamp Cape Cod - you simply have to work with Kara!

I can not recommend working with Kara enough. My husband and I are organized and detail-oriented. At first, we were unsure if we needed a day of coordinator; however, it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Kara provided lots of help leading up to the wedding, such as communicating with the vendors. On the day of the wedding, she had the perfect positive energy. She enabled us to not have to think or worry about any of the details of the day and just focus on the fun parts. Due to the weather, we switched to an indoor ceremony at the last second, and she was able to make all the necessary adjustments seamlessly. She exceeded our expectations, and many friends and family have complimented us since the wedding, saying how excellent Kara was.

Kara is so knowledgeable about all the details needed to throw a wedding on Cape Cod and having needed to bring everything in from 3rd party vendors, Kara was a critical part of making our wedding what it was. She has been in the game so is very aware of who the vendors are and what their strengths are to help us make informed decisions when choosing each vendor. When is came time for wedding week and wedding day, Kara was the rock that we could look to to ensure everything was on track and make sure everything and everyone was where they needed to be at all times. She conducted the entire event beautifully with ease and never came across as bossy which was very impressive to watch. We highly recommend hiring Kara when planning your event!

Absolutely Amazing Person! Kara is the person you need in your life, her calmness and overall organization kept me under control and sane the entire time. She brought so much joy to my day and if it wasn't for her I don't know how I would have been able to make it happen.
