The Kansas Aviation Museum was the perfect wedding venue! Whether or not you are a plane enthusiast the interior and exterior of the building has a classic charm. We loved working with their venue coordinator who answered all our questions perfectly and eased any nerves we had. They did all the set up/tear down, and being able to have our rehearsal dinner in the same space made everything run smoothly! We would reccomend this venue to anyone looking for an experienced venue with a unique charm.
Kevin was great to work with and assisted in setting up tables, linens, moving tables between ceremony and reception. The venue also takes care of trash clean up and removing tables, chairs etc. The AC was mostly cool and Kevin (unprompted) apologized for it not being as cool as he wanted and offered some money back.
We fell in love with the building and after looking around at a few other venues, we agreed on this place. The price was very comparable to other venues—but I felt that we had it for more time than other venues. We booked the full facility for Saturday, which also included Friday evening for set up and rehearsal. We did have some minor frustration with the event coordinator, but he’s still new to the position, so I’m going to assume that is the root of our frustrations—he’s still learning! The museum was closed the day of the wedding, but our guests were able to walk the museum. There is also an indoor play area for kids—big hit! The Art Deco design of the building makes for a super cool backdrop. We had our wedding outside with the reception inside. I would totally get married there again—highly recommend KAM as a unique place for a wedding (especially if avoiding rustic).

The Kansas Aviation Museum was a unique, fun, low stress venue for my son and daughter-in-law’s rehearsal dinner. Grace and her staff are friendly, easy to contact, flexible, helpful, and well-organized. Our guests had a wonderful time exploring the museum, including the control tower. We had many comments about what a fun time they had. Our family would highly recommend the Kansas Aviation Museum!
