and Mike were great to work with. They did a wonderful job working with Chef Mark to set up a tasting for us and helped us plan our menu. Our menu was a preset mixed green salad with candied nuts, fresh strawberries, feta cheese and a champagne vinaigrette. Our main course was fresh mediterranean salmon, a chicken breast with a spinach cream sauce, roasted potatoes, and green beans almandine, and of course wedding cake (almond wedding cake with champagne filling and frosting made by Linda at the same Hy-Vee) for dessert. The food was outstanding! Neither the chicken nor the salmon were dry and everything had incredible flavor! We continue to be told that this was the best meal our guests have ever had at a wedding. Hy-Vee set all of our tables with water goblets, china, and glass beaded chargers, and silverware. They plated and served 230 people in about 45 minutes which was absolutely incredible esspecially considering the small amount of prep space that was available. The servers did an exceptional job serving, filling water goblets, and clearing the tables. I cannot thank the Hy-Vee team enough for such an incredible experience, and for being so easy to work with. You all made our day stress free and made our wedding a dream come true.
