The Olathe location catering manager was very kind and easy to communicate with. The tasting at Hy-Vee prior was plentiful and easy to schedule. We were able to add appetizers the week before as a last minute decision. We went with pasta bar and the only issue was that the plastic serving tongs kept snapping in half. otherwise it was great!

10/10 Tyler and Murray were great and easy to work with and staff on site day of were very helpful and nice. We loved the food and everything was taken care of and thought out wonderfully. We used the Hyvee on Noland Rd in Independence, MO.

Honestly not impressed with the service we received. The price was definitely affordable and it tasted good but it was so hard to get ahold of anyone to book them. Only one person ...

in the whole department knew how to add attendants (which was required for our venue) and they were always either “out for the day” or too busy with a holiday that they said try again later… Eventually we did managed to get it booked but it was a huge pain. Then they showed up an hour earlier than we booked, didn’t stay by the table as they were supposed to, and didn’t say anything before leaving (we had a tip for them but they just disappeared before they were supposed to). It was just a few platters of food so it really shouldn’t have been that difficult…

nal. We did a plated dinner that was served for 230 guests. John and Mike were great to work with. They did a wonderful job working with Chef Mark to set up a tasting for us and helped us plan our menu. Our menu was a preset mixed green salad with candied nuts, fresh strawberries, feta cheese and a champagne vinaigrette. Our main course was fresh mediterranean salmon, a chicken breast with a spinach cream sauce, roasted potatoes, and green beans almandine, and of course wedding cake (almond wedding cake with champagne filling and frosting made by Linda at the same Hy-Vee) for dessert. The food was outstanding! Neither the chicken nor the salmon were dry and everything had incredible flavor! We continue to be told that this was the best meal our guests have ever had at a wedding. Hy-Vee set all of our tables with water goblets, china, and glass beaded chargers, and silverware. They plated and served 230 people in about 45 minutes which was absolutely incredible esspecially considering the small amount of prep space that was available. The servers did an exceptional job serving, filling water goblets, and clearing the tables. I cannot thank the Hy-Vee team enough for such an incredible experience, and for being so easy to work with. You all made our day stress free and made our wedding a dream come true.
