When our wedding came around I felt so confident that Kara had it handled and turns out "having it handled" was an understatement. All of our photos are STUNNING - I've had multiple people compliment me on them, she made the day look even more magical. She works quickly and efficiently - we only spent 10-15 min taking bride/groom photos after the ceremony but have like 20 amazing shots. I also appreciated that she captured a lot of the in between moments; shots of our guests during the ceremony, the dance floor, speech reactions, etc. - I truly feel like we have moments captured of every minute of the day. She completely captured the energy and vibe of the day. So book Kara - you won't regret it!

After suffering the devastating loss of my father at the beginning of this year we were having a really hard time moving forward with our wedding planning process. On a whim (and I’m convinced some heavenly angel help from my dad), I looked at the forecast in Lake Cuyumaca and there was going to be snow on a random Thursday in March. If we are having a December wedding- wouldn’t you want snow photos too? Well my best friend had sent me her contact information and next thing I know I’m calling her on my lunch break and we are hatching a plan to play hooky with her in a couple of days and get up there for some photos. After a treacherous journey and way more snow than we imagined we made it up there and shot super quickly since I was totally frozen. Kara was such a trooper and had us laughing and made us so comfortable. We absolutely loved our time with her and the photos were proof of that! My fiancé and I both said how happy we were in that moment and she lit the fire for us summoning our strength to start planning again. If you need a photographer to capture your love, energy, and hope for your future ahead - look no farther!
