I am a mamma, a wife, a knitter, a baker and a sunshine chaser. I love being a photographer and capturing special moments and memories for others. I specialize in weddings & portraits. I started out in the wedding business assisting for many wonderful photographers and honing my skills. I have been shooting weddings for 10 years. Kara was so amazing from start to finish! She did both our engagement photos and our wedding photos. She helped to make us feel comfortable and ourselves in front of the camera. All of the photos were beautiful and truly captured the feeling of the day. I cannot recommend Kara enough. She is wonderful!

Kara was absolutely wonderful. Not only are her photographs breathtakingly beautiful and made us feel like our best selves, but she went above and beyond to help us in any way possible, not just with photography. I recall a moment where none of my bridesmaids were anywhere to be found, but Kara was on the ground helping me get mud off my dress. She was so flexible about scheduling and very supportive. She was one of the easiest parts of the entire wedding planning process, and it was such a joy to meet and work with her! Highly recommend!

Kara did both our engagement and wedding photos. I loved all of the photos! Kara, was positive, thoughtful, and always checked in to make sure she captured everything I wanted. I enjoyed working with Kara and would highly recommend her!

I was not a bride but a wedding planner for one of Kara's past couples. She did an amazing job. A pleasure to work with and beautiful photo's of the couples day. I recommend her to all my couples.

Choosing Kara as our photographer was the best decision we made. She was so fun to work with and put everyone at ease. The photos from our wedding are absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed working with Kara so much she will definitely be our photographer for any future events.

I loved my experience working with Kara! She was so thorough listening to what I wanted during all of our preparation sessions. She has lots of flexible packages which worked well for my budget. And our day of experience was exactly what I wanted. Kara is very low-key and did not overpose or stage us -- I knew she would make my husband and I feel comfortable. Our friends all agreed, it was the most relaxing, low-key wedding photo experience any of us had ever had. The photos were ready for me when I got back from my honeymoon and they looked beautiful.

Kara was great to work with and makes you feel relaxed in front of the camera. She is easy to communicate and schedule with and turns around the photos in a very timely manner. She did a great job capturing the fun dance party at our reception. We will cherish our photos for many years to come.

We can't say enough great things about Kara - she was an absolute joy to work with throughout our entire wedding planning process. Our engagement pictures and wedding pictures turned out just how we imagined and she perfectly captured our big day. We really wanted a specific, soft, vintage look for our pictures and Kara respected that wish. She met with us multiple times to make sure the timeline of our day was in place. She was extremely helpful the day of the wedding, she was prepared for anything, and she had excellent spur of the moment ideas for shots! We can't wait to have Kara photograph many more exciting moments in our future!

From start to finish, we loved working with Kara. And our photos look great! Kara was great in helping us plan for the wedding and the shot list ahead of time. She was great with our families & with the kids - and she understood our personal style and what we wanted for our photos. I couldn't recommend Kara more!
