m our first email exchanges that she was the photographer for my day! Her rates are incredibly reasonable for the amazing and beautiful work she does. Just scrolling through her galleries on her website is enough proof of that. I was a bride planning a wedding from 9 hours away and all of the advice she offered was so helpful! After a year of communication, the big day was finally here! Meeting Karen for the first time was like meeting an old friend or family member- I instantly felt comfortable around her (which was huge considering the nerves building!). Most people are not used to being posed for photographs but she really walks you through it and helps you understand what photographs well. She is also a lot of fun to be around. Neither my husband or I felt awkward around her;we ended up laughing a lot together! On top of all that, she really does make you feel like the most beautiful and special person! I loved every single photo I received back from Karen. The turnaround was quick as well for my photos for being a busy wedding season! They are beyond stunning and it's almost impossible to choose my favorite ones! If you're wavering on whether to book Karen or not, do it! It will be the best decision and investment you make for your big day!
