I found Karen through the recommendation of our wedding venue in the Catskills. After looking through a couple of options, I decided to move forward with Karen as she seemed like a...
good fit in terms of style and that she focuses on smaller groups. Between the vendor search, the trial session and the actual wedding day - I had so many questions (also couldn't make up my mind about a lot of things) and Karen was very patient with me. On the day of the wedding she arrived early to set up. Karen was lovely and went above and beyond - helping with suggestions of how to fix things even beyond make up (my dress)! And of course my make up was everything I dreamed of, it was not over done, and a very natural look which I wanted. I didn't have to re-touch my make up even after circling the grounds for photography and hours of dancing! I had a beautiful up do that looked beautiful without any hair piece or flowers. Highly recommend Karen.
Karen made me look and feel beautiful for my wedding day. She welcomed me and my mother into her home for my trial, and we felt like we were visiting a friend. On my wedding day, I...
was anxious about last minute details, and Karen talked me down while transforming me into a bride fit for a magazine cover. In humid July heat, my makeup and false eyelashes stayed on through the after party, and my thick hair has never held a curl so well and for so long. And, it doesn't hurt that she was, by far, the most reasonably priced makeup artist I found in months of searching. If you're getting married in the Catskills area, book Karen and Annette.
Karen and Annette are incredible! I had the pleasure of hiring these amazing women for my wedding. From the first consultation to the last spritz of hairspray, working with Karen a...
nd Annette was wonderful. We all felt safe in their hands and loved the way we looked! Karen's clean, natural aesthetic for makeup was perfect for our laid back vibe, and Annette really advocated with her creative expertise to make sure we all looked amazing. Styling hair and makeup to the satisfaction of multiple women is not an easy job, and they did it beautifully. We really enjoyed spending our day getting ready with them. Thank you so so much!
Karen and her partner Annette were absolutely wonderful. Everyone's hair and makeup turned out beautifully. Very natural and not overdone at all, which was exactly what I was looki...
ng for. The morning of our wedding, which can be sort of an overwhelming time, was calm and relaxed thanks to Karen's laid back, lovely demeanor. She really put everyone at ease and made it a great morning. I have never liked my hair and makeup anytime I've had it done until now...I truly loved how I looked on my wedding day, thanks to Karen! Thank you, you're amazing!
Cannot say enough wonderful things about Karen. To start, when I explained to her what I wanted, she did EXACTLY that. I could not have been happier with how my hair and make up ...
turned out for my wedding. On top of being professional and great at what she does, Karen is the sweetest, most calming presence to have around. My Mom and I are going to continue going to Karen for all of our hair needs because we loved her so much. Thank you Karen!!
Given that our wedding was in the middle of nowhere, I was SO lucky to find the gem that is Karen Neblung, who provided me and my family with hairdos worthy of the big cities! She ...
was extremely attentive and engaged through the entire process, and I felt very comfortable and at ease with her. I adored my hairstyle and that of my sister and niece, and felt so grateful to have found her out in the "boonies"! Only wish I lived closer so I could have her do my hair all the time!
