Truly could not have better things to say about working with Kari. I found her on the knot and it was the best decision we made for engagement pictures! First of all, Kari is incredibly responsive and detail oriented. I suggested a location and she countered with a slightly different one that had less foot traffic and it was perfect! She perfectly coordinated timing of the photos with the best lighting. But most importantly, she has incredible energy and gave us the perfect amount of direction. She made what would have been something awkward into a fun time for me and my fiancé! Lastly, her photos are incredible. I could not love ours anymore and we have gotten so so many compliments. Please do yourself a favor and hire her for all of your photography needs, you will not regret it!

Kari was fantastic! She was so helpful and easy to work with from the very beginning. My now husband and I eloped in Vail, CO, and Kari not only took gorgeous photos, but helped find the best locations for pictures and created a timeline that worked perfectly. She offered to drive us to and from your hotel, so we did not have to worry about driving, and she even had snacks for us if we got hungry in the middle of out shoot! Kari was the absolute best, and I am in love with every single photo she took!

Kari was absolutely phenomenal. We loved how our photos turned out, but just as importantly, we loved working with her. Wedding planning, especially during a pandemic, is stressful, but Kari went above and beyond and truly was involved throughout the process (last-minute pandemic changes and all!) She gives great directions and truly has an eye for what will look good on camera. I cannot recommend Kari enough!

Working with Kari was AMAZING! She was such a professional throughout the entire process and made my husband and I feel so comfortable. We used her for both our engagement photos and our wedding which was the best decision we could've made. My husband and I both come from very large families and were concerned that family pictures at the wedding was going to eat up a lot of time, but Kari was able to work her magic and capture pictures of all our loved ones without wasting any time. Within our wedding budget & planning, my (now) husband & I prioritized two things, our wedding venue & photographer. We wanted engagement photos at the site of our proposal in Vail, CO and had chosen a beautiful ranch venue in Steamboat Springs, CO for our wedding. Both had sweeping mountain landscapes and we wanted a photographer that was going to be able to do them justice. We poured over numerous websites and Kari’s portfolio and aesthetic stood out. I was drawn to the fact that she doesn’t solely do wedding photography (as sometimes, the portfolios of wedding-only photographers seemed kind of cookie-cutter). We couldn’t have been more right in our choice, as Kari absolutely crushed both sessions. She was game to drive dark, unpaved mountain roads on an early Saturday morning (I mean 2 AM early!) to get to our chosen location for sunrise engagement photos. We aren’t even morning people, but her suggestion regarding the sunrise lighting was so worth it and we had a total blast romping around with her in the wee hours. This also gave us a great opportunity to understand her style and organization, so that we felt less awkward and ready for our wedding day pictures. On our wedding day, she was able to beautifully capture us, our friends, family, and guests in a variety of lighting (high sun, cloudy/rainy, dim market lighting, and sunset) and indoor/outdoor settings. We opted out of a second shooter and we were so impressed with how many moments she was able to capture by herself throughout the whole day. Kari got us our 20+ picture preview the next day! Furthermore, even though she had a jam packed schedule the rest of the summer, she provided us with our full wedding album (via an online gallery AND a USB) quicker than we expected! Our wedding venue also loved Kari’s pictures so much that they featured them front and center on their homepage and all over their website. We chose Kari Geha to be our wedding photographer for SO many reasons, beyond just her artistry and talent. Her bubbly, humorous, and adventerous personality were such a bonus! Our guests commented that they never saw her stop smiling or laughing! From the moment we first met her in person, she was so much fun and made us feel comfortable and at ease. All in all, Kari was an absolute treat to work with and we would (and have) highly recommended her to others! We couldn’t have been more right in trusting Kari to tell our story. She has provided us with pictures that we will treasure for a lifetime. We look forward to working with Kari again in the future for family portraits and events. Thanks Kari!

Choosing your wedding photographer is a big deal! Wedding pictures are forever!! If you only read this much, do yourself a favor and HIRE KARI! Before meeting Kari I obsessed over her portfolio online. When we first met in person, she managed my frazzled, on my lunch hour with my notebook of questions self with patience and compassion. All communication with her leading up to our big day was so easy. Together we planned a first look surprise with the best man in a wedding dress. She was integral in making it happen down to saying things to my husband before the reveal like, "Oh she looks beautiful!" I cannot properly explain how much I trusted her - she transferred our wedding rings to the best man before the ceremony! She also managed my family circus including 10 kids under the age of 9. My husband had reservations about being photographed all day and commented on how comfortable he felt with her. Working with Kari was effortless and the pictures are gorgeous! I cannot recommend Kari enough! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!

Kari is amazing, talented and adventurous. She suggested doing our engagement photos at the Sand Dunes, which was downright magical. She is willing to travel places (she spent about 7 hours in the car with us) and climb all of the sand mountains, just to get the perfect shot. Neither of us are comfortable in front of a camera, but she made it feel natural. Her personality makes it so much fun. I can’t wait for her to join us on our tropical wedding and create more of her magic. I can’t recommend Kari and her work enough. You will not be disappointed.

Kari is hands down the best and most upbeat photographer I've ever worked with. Everyone in our wedding party loved her. We used Kari three times, for our engagement photos, our elopement photos and our larger wedding celebration photos. She was amazing! She was so easy to work with and made us feel super comfortable right from the start. She stood in the freezing rain with us at sunset for our elopement photos in October, she stood on top of a mountain pass at sunrise in the snow when it was 5 degree out for our elopement in March and she flew to Cape Cod, Massachusetts for our wedding celebration in June. She was so easy going with the travel process. She came to our pre-wedding bbq the night before the wedding and everyone absolutely loved her. Our family and friends had nothing but great things to say about her. We were absolutely blown away by all of the photos. I honestly can't pick a favorite set of photos, they're all so amazing. If you're looking for an amazing photographer in Colorado, I would definitely recommend using Kari!

Kari shot our engagement photos and did a great job. She was willing to drive up to the mountains at the crack of dawn to make sure we got photos with the perfect weather and light and the results were beautiful. She was also willing to work with our schedule even when we requested to change the time of our shoot last minute. Kari worked hard to get us our photos quickly and even got us a preview of a few photos within a couple days after the shoot. She did a good job directing us and setting up great creative shots.

There are so many wonderful things I could say about Kari...so where do I even begin? For starters, Kari is truly a master of her craft. My Fiance and I won an engagement photo session with Kari through a non-profit organization. She was a great communicator when selecting a location & date for the shoot, and offered her opinion when we weren't too sure the right route to take - I'm personally very new to the whole Engagement Photos thing. When the date approached and winter was arriving early in Colorado, Kari was very flexible in changing our scheduled time to be sure we got what we wanted out of the photos. On the day of the shoot, Kari's positive energy and easy-going personality was very welcomed and needed. She confidently suggested different things to try while simultaneously making us feel comfortable and ourselves. She got a preview of the photos to us within days and above all is a very talented photographer. I would recommend Kari to anyone.

I haven’t worked with Kari in a wedding situation, but that doesn’t change the simple fact that she is the most wonderful person to work with, in any setting!! Kari was our amazing wedding photographer. Booking Kari was the most comfortable decision my husband and I made during the wedding planning process. From our first meeting I knew we were getting the best. Kari helped us plan before the wedding, helped manage time during the wedding, and sent us the final photos 5 weeks after the wedding. My family was raving about her during our reception, and everyone has loved the final photos. I love Kari! Her package included both wedding and engagement photos and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out! In addition, she was able to capture photos in both a rustic setting (engagement photos) and downtown setting (wedding photos) flawlessly!The engagement session was a great way to get to know Kari and feel more comfortable in front of the camera before the big day. Not to mention, she did a great job of including our dog in our engagement photos as well! As for the wedding day, Kari was very organized in getting a shot list and day of information details.
