ay, and she captured the spirit of every event perfectly. For our engagement photos, Kari was willing to hop into the back of a convertible and venture up winding mountain roads to find the perfect backdrop for our photos! She instantly made us both feel so welcome and comfortable in front of the camera, and her little prompts made us giggle and laugh out loud at each other, resulting in the most genuinely happy photos of my husband and me! I will treasure these photos as much as our wedding photos for years and years to come! At our welcome events, Kari seamlessly wove through the crowds of our guests, capturing almost every single guest that joined us that weekend! It was so important for us to remember everyone that had traveled and taken the time to celebrate with us, and Kari did just that! She captured old friends catching up, new friends meeting, and family reuniting in such a perfect way! On our wedding day, Kari was on it from the second she arrived! She also had a second photographer, who was so in sync with Kari and they truly tag teamed all of the shots to make sure they captured things from every angle! We had to pivot the day of due to wind, and they gave us their opinion on where we could go instead and still captured our first look so beautifully. The looks our both my husband and I’s faces during those moments truly captured the love that we felt that day. Kari and Heidi were great at organizing the large family groups for photos, and were almost invisible during the ceremony, speeches, and dancing, yet still captured every moment, which I think is one of the best characteristics of a great wedding photographer! We received our preview photos within 3 days of our wedding, which just continued the feelings of joy that we felt that weekend. The rest of the photos were not far behind, and Kari even took the time to send us a small gift with some of the greatest photos from the day. Her work is truly beautiful, but beyond that, she is a beautiful person who made us comfortable from start to finish in capturing our big day! We would recommend Kari over and over again!

She perfectly coordinated timing of the photos with the best lighting. But most importantly, she has incredible energy and gave us the perfect amount of direction. She made what would have been something awkward into a fun time for me and my fiancé! Lastly, her photos are incredible. I could not love ours anymore and we have gotten so so many compliments. Please do yourself a favor and hire her for all of your photography needs, you will not regret it!

She offered to drive us to and from your hotel, so we did not have to worry about driving, and she even had snacks for us if we got hungry in the middle of out shoot! Kari was the absolute best, and I am in love with every single photo she took!

My husband and I both come from very large families and were concerned that family pictures at the wedding was going to eat up a lot of time, but Kari was able to work her magic and capture pictures of all our loved ones without wasting any time. , CO and had chosen a beautiful ranch venue in Steamboat Springs, CO for our wedding. Both had sweeping mountain landscapes and we wanted a photographer that was going to be able to do them justice. We poured over numerous websites and Kari’s portfolio and aesthetic stood out. I was drawn to the fact that she doesn’t solely do wedding photography (as sometimes, the portfolios of wedding-only photographers seemed kind of cookie-cutter). We couldn’t have been more right in our choice, as Kari absolutely crushed both sessions. She was game to drive dark, unpaved mountain roads on an early Saturday morning (I mean 2 AM early!) to get to our chosen location for sunrise engagement photos. We aren’t even morning people, but her suggestion regarding the sunrise lighting was so worth it and we had a total blast romping around with her in the wee hours. This also gave us a great opportunity to understand her style and organization, so that we felt less awkward and ready for our wedding day pictures. On our wedding day, she was able to beautifully capture us, our friends, family, and guests in a variety of lighting (high sun, cloudy/rainy, dim market lighting, and sunset) and indoor/outdoor settings. We opted out of a second shooter and we were so impressed with how many moments she was able to capture by herself throughout the whole day. Kari got us our 20+ picture preview the next day! Furthermore, even though she had a jam packed schedule the rest of the summer, she provided us with our full wedding album (via an online gallery AND a USB) quicker than we expected! Our wedding venue also loved Kari’s pictures so much that they featured them front and center on their homepage and all over their website. We chose Kari Geha to be our wedding photographer for SO many reasons, beyond just her artistry and talent. Her bubbly, humorous, and adventerous personality were such a bonus! Our guests commented that they never saw her stop smiling or laughing! From the moment we first met her in person, she was so much fun and made us feel comfortable and at ease. All in all, Kari was an absolute treat to work with and we would (and have) highly recommended her to others! We couldn’t have been more right in trusting Kari to tell our story. All communication with her leading up to our big day was so easy. Together we planned a first look surprise with the best man in a wedding dress. She was integral in making it happen down to saying things to my husband before the reveal like, "Oh she looks beautiful!" I cannot properly explain how much I trusted her - she transferred our wedding rings to the best man before the ceremony! She also managed my family circus including 10 kids under the age of 9. My husband had reservations about being photographed all day and commented on how comfortable he felt with her. Working with Kari was effortless and the pictures are gorgeous! She stood in the freezing rain with us at sunset for our elopement photos in October, she stood on top of a mountain pass at sunrise in the snow when it was 5 degree out for our elopement in March and she flew to Cape Cod, Massachusetts for our wedding celebration in June. She was so easy going with the travel process. She came to our pre-wedding bbq the night before the wedding and everyone absolutely loved her. Our family and friends had nothing but great things to say about her. We were absolutely blown away by all of the photos. I honestly can't pick a favorite set of photos, they're all so amazing. If you're looking for an amazing photographer in Colorado, I would definitely recommend using Kari!
