Karin was a dream to work with. She did a beautiful job on both our engagement and wedding photos. She was very professional, kind, and easy going. She made us feel comfortable. She communicated with me clearly and quickly if I ever had a question. Her turnaround time for our photos was very quick. We would definitely recommend her!

easily the best decision I made for our wedding was having Karin photograph it. We knew at our engagement shoot that she was going to capture the most special pieces of the day. We let her take the reins for our engagement shoot and ended up at one of her favorite spots in Lynchburg and my did it make for the most gorgeous photos. Karin has the biggest, warmest heart and related to us in our faith and her hometown on long island. Her personable and lively demeanor makes the shoots relaxing, unintimidating and FUN. She gives precise direction for each photo so you're never standing there not knowing what to do. Takes the stress out of it. Not only is the experience working with her so excellent, but the product... I don't have words for it. Her work is breathtaking. I am the biggest fan of her candid shots because it really captures the essence of the people in it and the event. She captures those small moments and in the brightness and vividness of her photos, makes them a cherishable memory. I hope to work with her again in the future and would 100% recommend her for any photo needs, whether it be a wedding, engagement shoot, pregnancy shoot, etc. She is a true expert in what she does.

I absolutely loved having Karin as my photographer on my special day! She was a huge help! Everyone was so behind on getting ready and she helped get us into shape (in the best way possible!) to get us down the isle and have the wedding start on time. After the wedding my husband and I kept talking about how much we enjoyed having her as well and parents and guests😊

Karin was so much fun to work with, getting all the shots and family combinations. Wedding was just 3 days ago and I've already gotten to see the first group of shots on hey blog, and I'm so incredibly pleased. Karin did an absolutely amazing job for our wedding! She made sure to get every picture on our shot list, and she made sure to stick to the timeline so we were never behind schedule! Karin was a very kind and enthusiastic photographer to work with! Girl has a SYSTEM and is very thorough making sure all sorts of photo combinations with friends, family, and bridal party happen. She is super efficient with her work - we stuck directly to our schedule, made it in time for our reception kick-off without delay, AND got all the photos we needed. Her photography itself is beautiful! She made me and my bridesmaids feel gorgeous and gave the men so much confidence in front of the camera. We got our photos within two and a half weeks of the wedding (record time from what I understand according to other brides), and they are STUNNING! Karin is wonderful at what she does... HIRE HER!! You won't regret it!

Listen to me, hire Karin. When I tell you Karin and her co-photographer were two of the most incredible artists that I have ever met I am not kidding. They went above and beyond to deliver the best photos for us. They brought props and set up the cutest backdrop and scenery (? not artsy myself) for the detail shots. Their passion for photography is unmatched and it shows. I did not research poses or anything beforehand, and I did not need to. They coached us all to achieve the best shots that flattered everyone. They drove I believe 4 hours to get to the location where the girls were getting ready, and then another 20 mins or so to the venue which was amazing because we were quite rural on the Virginia coast. They were such great sports and efficient with time following a predetermined flexible schedule that they created to match my goals for the day. They captured organic spontaneous events throughout the day, and events at the reception that we didn’t know were going to occur like the professionals that they are. For instance multiple action shots of the groom and a friend doing a dance lift (?) that no one saw coming, and only lasted for a few seconds. Such great photos to help us remember our special day. They also edited the pics and returned to me in RECORD time. Like 10 days? Just incredible. I repeat, hire Karin.

Karin was fabulous to work with! From day one she was responsive and answered all our questions. Based on her years of experience, she provided a helpful timeline but yet was flexible to meet our special requests. Her photo booth was a hit at the wedding and provided guests with instant fun photos! The wedding photos she took were beautiful and captured all the special moments of the day. Five stars plus for Karin!

Karin was absolutely fantastic from the day we first contacted her. She was great about planning and providing a schedule, so that the day of ran smoothly, and we knew what to expect. On the big day, Karin was SO MUCH fun to work with, as well as efficient. She was excellent about giving cues for posing and made us feel comfortable! The pictures were delivered in about 2 weeks (during a VERY busy wedding time) and were absolutely gorgeous. We love all of the photos and will treasure them forever! Thank you Karin!!

Karin’s photography skills require no question. She captured every shot quite beautifully. In terms of technique, she had perfect focus, made sure her subjects were lit just enough, and she was very structured when it came to scheduling. We got all of the shots that we had discussed with Karin in our pre-wedding meetings, and more. While Karin is a fantastic wedding photographer if you are looking for structure, easy-to-follow posing, and properly-taken photos, we had some expectations that were not quite met. As highly artistic people, we thoroughly enjoy a more non-cookie cutter, nonchalant, eclectic approach, which was lacking in the photography. Karin’s style is far more rigid than we would prefer, however, if you are comfortable with structure, then she is perfect for you! Another unfortunate component is that in her contract she does not allow for the client to further edit their photos. Again, we like to make things our own, and therefore found this restriction disappointing. We are still very happy with our photos, so do not take this to mean that we dislike them. We just tend to gravitate towards a different approach. One last note is that Charlotte, her second shooter for our wedding, created a nice balance with Karin. Together they were able to get some unforgettable shots! Hopefully this is helpful to anyone making a decision for photography.

Karin was so amazing!! Her communication and preparation were incredible, and all of the photos from our engagement session and the wedding day were absolutely gorgeous!

Karin was such amazing person to work with during our engagement and wedding! She was very responsive and made things for my now husband and I so easy. If I had questions, she with no hesitation was answering them. On our wedding day the process was easy and stress free because of Karin. She had things in order and stuck to the schedule. I would choose her again if I had to do it all over!

We had such an amazing experience with both Karin and her second shooter Charlotte! We definitely did not give them the easiest task and they adapted perfectly. Hiring a photographer for our wedding was intimidating and stressful for me because a very close family friend was our usual "go-to" photographer, so having our pictures done by someone I wasn't very familiar with (I get stage fright 😅) made me nervous. From the very START, I felt like I've known Karin my entire life. She is so amazing and makes you feel extremely comfortable. She dealt with my crazy brain that seems to not function much anymore and showed much patience when she had to ask me for things one hundred times. I could not have imagined hiring a different photographer or anyone capturing our day as perfect as she did. She and her assisting photographer will always have a special place in my heart. Our wedding day flew by and now I will always be able to cherish these documented memories.😍❤️

It's true--your wedding day goes by in a blink of an eye. All the food will be eaten, all your flowers will die, and soon the memories will begin to fade. And that's why you invest in good photography, and that is exactly why Karin is worth every single penny. We were first drawn to Karin because of her portfolio--she takes light, airy, dreamy pictures that were bright. We weren't into super moody, editorial like pictures, we wanted bright, happy, joy. And Karin delivered all of that. Karin is so easy to work with and she makes sure you feel comfortable with the pictures you take. She also poses you just right where you actually look like models and that taking pictures comes naturally. She works hard to make sure she gets the perfect shot and she captures EVERYTHING. Even the smallest detail did not go unnoticed. The pictures came back super fast and she communicated the delivery of the pictures throughout the time she was editing. She captured everything that our wedding was and I can't help staring at the pictures over and over again. Thank you Karin for giving us these photos to remember one of the most beautiful days of our lives.

Karin was absolutely incredible! From the time I reached out to her in January through my wedding in August, she was communicative, informative, helpful, and professional. She sent us links to view her previous galleries so we could get a sense of what her typical wedding day shoots were like, and she helped us work through our timeline for the big day to ensure we got all the photographs that we wanted. She even showed up early on the big day (after traveling a few hours) to stake out all the best spots for photographs. She took incredibly beautiful photos, and during the ceremony and reception, we didn't even notice her and her second shooter. She was able to get us back our fully edited gallery in record time. We couldn't have been happier with our choice, and we will have beautiful photos of ourselves, family, and friends for the rest of our lives.

Karin was the perfect photographer for our fall engagement photos. It was supposed to rain most of the day of our session. Karin not only had a rain plan, but also offered us the flexibility to move our session up 6 hours to reach a break in the weather. Once there, she made us feel so comfortable and suggested poses that would work best for each frame. She had a very reasonable turnaround time, and even posted sneak peaks prior to the full gallery. I fully recommend Karin!

I don't know where to start. Karin was a blessing from the very moment I emailed her to ask about hiring her as a wedding photographer. She immediately responded to my message, and I was able to set up a phone call. I had absolutely no idea what I was doing, but she was very patient as I asked a whole lot of questions as if I DID know what I was doing. Once I spoke with her, I knew that she was the one we wanted for our pictures. We were long distance, but Karin worked with us to get our engagement shoot done, even though the day was super overcast and gloomy. The photos turned out wonderfully. Fast forward to the wedding. It was wonderful. Karin made everything look amazing, and she had so much fun doing it. I can't say enough about how great it was working with a photographer who genuinely loves what she is doing. Everyone loved working with her. Now that the wedding is over, my wife and I are brainstorming ways we can hire Karin again. There's always a maternity shoot!

Karin is hands down the best! She met with me personally to discuss the details of my wedding day. Initially what drew my daughter and I to this photographer was the price. Not having a large budget to work with, we were looking for nice pictures at a reasonable cost. This photographer has COMPLETELY EXCEEDED my expectations and provided our family with an ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL gallery of this once-in-a-lifetime event! She managed to capture spontaneous expressions, breath-taking portraits, and images of the venue (i.e. flower arrangements, decor, food, etc.) that will be treasured for years to come! Being an "amateur enthusiast" in photography, I always flit around trying to capture each detail of every major life event. My daughter was insistent that I leave my camera at home and be fully present for that day. I was a bit worried at first that she would miss something, but between Karin's eye for detail, her organizational skills, and her second photographer, I can honestly say that she did not miss one single shot! Furthermore, I loved every picture. Everyone looked beautiful and radiant! I found it difficult to pick my "favorites" because I loved them all! Karin was a pleasure to work with as well. Throughout the day, she and her assistant remained calm, pleasant, and professional. We received a "sneak peek" of the wedding a few days after the event and all of the photographs shortly thereafter. If there were 10 stars, I would rate her that high, and I have recommended her services several times since. You will be completely happy with any photography service you choose to hire her for!

Karin did a wonderful job with our photos! They all turned out beautiful. For two people who don't like to have their pictures taken, we had trouble deciding between hundreds (literally) of photos that we loved and wanted to frame. She also captured some great candid shots! Both Karin and her assistant were easy to work with and she had our photos to us two weeks after the wedding! I've heard of people waiting up to a year to get their hands on their wedding photos, so I was very surprised and excited to get them so fast!
