My husband (who typically doesn't like his picture taken) was happy to take pictures all day because Karina made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. d that her soft, classic, bright, and airy photography brought out the absolute best in New York City and in the couples she photographed, so I confidently booked a shoot with her. Karina was heavily pregnant at the time and didn’t stop snapping pictures for a second — a true Wonder Woman. She was doing circles around me! A true feat. Together, we shared stories and laughs and cab rides together…it was a lovely day and Karina was a huge part of that intimate memory. Three years later, my husband and I still swoon over the pictures Karina produced for us. There were dozens and dozens of shots she took that day and every single picture was perfect. I really mean that — every single picture. In fact, it was painful narrowing down our favorite shots when we framed our wedding pictures. She captured the city and our love in the most perfect ways. Karina herself listened to (and accomplished) everything we were looking for — we wanted photos in particular locations, certain poses, etc. but she also has a phenomenal instinct and would suggest things that we ended up doing too. She truly loves her job and is great at her craft. Karina goes above and beyond. You can tell with her photography that she’s got a special talent and a keen eye for photographing people. Her sunny disposition and fun personality made the day even better. Photos are such an important part of any special event — perhaps your most important event investment — so figuring out who you want to hire can be nerve wracking and stressful. There is no one else I’d recommend as thoroughly, confidently, and strongly as I would Karina. Please don’t hesitate and book her before someone else does. It was a joy working with Karina three years ago and it’s been a joy seeing her portfolio and clientele expand. We still keep in touch! My only regret is that she can’t photograph my maternity photos this winter since we live on opposite coasts. I know that I will be hard pressed to find someone as fantastic and talented as Karina here in California. If you’re on the east coast, my massive loss is your massive gain. zing work still carries over to her family sessions! She has done my outdoor family session last spring and our maternity session recently. She captures us so beautifully and elegantly, even with two crazy toddlers! I’d love to redo my wedding vows and she for sure would be “The One” for me!
