Karina is best known around town for more casual, family style meals, but I assure you, she and her staff pulled off our formal dinner brilliantly. The staff were charming and attentive, and the meal was absolutely exceptional. I'm still dreaming about those scallops! Everything was heavenly, and my guests are still gushing about the food two weeks after the wedding. Considering the decadence of our meal and the excellent service, Karina's pricing was very reasonable. I couldn't recommend Karina and her team more highly.

am from Missouri. She came to the house we rented for the ceremony and did all of the cooking right there! Karina and her assistant were flexible and at the same time kept us on schedule. The food was outstanding. I ended up adding on a few more small appetizers. She prepared a smoked salmon and cheese spread from fish her husband had just caught! We also had the mushroom/scallop kebab, wedge salad, bacon wrapped filet, potatoes au gratin, and sautéed summer vegetables along with a final local cheese course. Karina explained all about the different kinds of cheese and where they came from. Everything, down to the bread and butter was so delicious. The scallops melted in your mouth and the filet was incredibly tender and cooked to a perfect medium rare. The potatoes were perfectly creamy. The food at my wedding was one of my favorite parts of the day and I am so glad I chose someone local to cater instead of dining at a restaurant. Karina and her team were a perfect way to let my guests experience why my husband and I love Mendocino so much!

Karina and staff were nice enough to make sure my husband and I didn't go hungry or thirsty! Lastly, Karina is very, very nice to work with. She is a great listener and made sure all our concerns were addressed because we had a few food allergies and vegan/vegetarian guests. She even brought a few chicken breasts to grill for those that did not eat red meat. Thanks Karina and team!
