work with! She was very communicative, and she made me, my husband, and my entire wedding party feel at ease when we were taking our photos on our wedding day! I just love her vision and her ability to capture our love and the joy of everyone who attended our wedding!! I cannot thank her enough for being a part of our wedding day and capturing our special moments and all the little details! I CANNOT stop looking at our wedding photos!! :)
Side note: Karis also took our engagement photos, and they were AWESOME as well! She was patient, was open to ideas, and was able to guide us in poses and stances so we had the perfect lighting and shots! We really enjoyed the experience, and Karis caught so many great photos from that day!

engagement pictures first, and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. We had no idea what to expect, and she made it easy to get perfect shots.
Our wedding - I cannot say enough about the pictures she captured. Her husband came as a second shooter, and between them, our day was captured in the most perfect way. From the beginning of the day shots of us getting ready, to the last ones of us saying goodbye to the evening - they're all stunning and perfect and so memorable.
Our wedding did even make it into Middleburg Life (we were married in Middleburg, Virginia) all due to Karis' gorgeous photography.
We're throwing an anniversary party this year - and the first thing we did was hire Karis again. Cannot recommend her enough.
Karis was absolutely wonderful the day of the wedding, and the photos are gorgeous. We found her on the vendor referral list for our venue. Hire her - you won't be disappointed.
