r. We sent a deposit to to book the wedding date, however, that's when things began to go downhill. From that point on, Karla was very difficult to talk to and incredibly unprofessional. Every phone call was all about how she had a broken ankle, and was struggling. Struggling to get around. Struggling to keep her business running, struggling to pay her employees. The next phone call, she then had a broken pelvis and spine. I was not unsympathetic, I listened and tried to commiserate with her. But, as the mother of the bride and a customer, I honestly felt it was odd and unprofessional. It's not like she mentioned it once, it was multiple phone calls. Not just with me, hut with my daughter, the bride. Then again on her wedding day, to me, the bridesmaids heard her, and later with our wedding coordinater who also thought it to be odd. She was rude on multiple occasions and made me feel very overwhelmed and frustrated while trying to help my daughter plan her wedding. She couldn't understand simple details without getting confused and demanding a phone call. She would adamantly tell me that I needed to provide photos, which had previously been provided. So I'd resend them to her in screenshots, or forward her the previous emails. But then blamed me for the miscommunication. I understand she's busy, but when you run your own business you have to try to be a bit more on top of things to help the bride or her mom feel a bit more calm during the planning process. She was chaotic and unorganized. She didn't follow our instructions. Had I read previous reviews, I would have seen that there was another complaint about the same issue. My corsage completely fell apart, she blamed me stating once she dropped it off, she didn't know how rough one might be with it. I put it on. I did nothing else and it fell apart. It was not user error, It was hot glued. I cried. I was devastated. EVERYONE can attest to that. The entire center fell off and I couldn't fix it. The grooms pocket boutonniere was too large to fit, his dad had to cut it. The bride wanted a cascading bouquet, which Karla had photos of, she did not get. She charged her that though, which is much more money. She said it was her fault for not being decisive enough. She charged us for parts of out centerpieces that never arrived. Offered store credit, we live an hour away. We would prefer the credit to go back to our credit card. There were so many issues, the venue apologized to me for the recommendation and removed her from their list of recommended vendors starting that we are not the first to complain about her attitude and her work. We do not recommend this florist, in fact....BEWARE!
