as she follows you around all day, and takes OUTSTANDING photos (and lots of them!). Even our family and friends were raving about her and her partner, Jake, because they did such a great job.
Karli has a ton of experience and is very helpful in providing tips regarding: engagement photo outfits and locations, vendor recommendations (if you’re in Michigan), timeline planning, what to include in your details bag, and I don’t even know what else I asked her haha. She gave us a thorough planning guide and was available to answer questions promptly.
My now-husband and I had never had professional photos taken, and she gave us example albums to decide on what we wanted, walked us through plans and poses like a pro, made us feel comfortable, and told us we looked cute along the way :)
I highly recommend working with her and will likely be re-booking for family sessions in the future. Thank you SO SO much, Karli! I'd give you ten stars if I could.

pictures from her. They’re something I’ll cherish forever. She fit her editing style to the season and feel of the pictures perfectly (fall engagement pictures & spring wedding). She’s also great at helping with posing. As a bonus, she’s also a great person to work with with an amazing personality. She made us both feel very comfortable in front of the camera, and was really encouraging along the way. She was a great addition to the people we celebrated our wedding with, and we were so appreciative of her positive and calming attitude throughout the day. She helped us to stay on time with the timeline also, so she went above and beyond her role as a photographer and really helped the day happen so perfectly as a whole.

We got married on 5/12/18 in Elon, NC. Karli was there to take photos for both our rehearsal dinner and our wedding. I could not be happier with Karli. She was so sweet and easy...
to work with. I was very nervous about my photos because of insecurities about my weight and looks but Karli helped me feel better about it and her photos did not disappoint at all. All of my family could not stop talking about our photos and how much they loved them. Everyone was amazed at how gorgeous they were. Karli has a great eye and really helped us look our best. We don't even have all our photos yet, but she gave us a selection of photos to look at only a few days after the wedding and I'm already in love with what we have! I can't wait to see the rest in a month or two! She also gave us a handful of polaroid samples the night of the wedding which was special for us to look through and awesome to have them so quickly. The quality of her work was also amazing for the cost. She was more affordable than any other photographer I looked at, and that was even with travel expenses from where she lives in Michigan to where we were married in North Carolina, and personally think her quality was better too. Her work is truly worth it. I will definitely be using her again in the future for family photos. Thank you so much for your amazing work, Karli!
