t work, but also a welcoming personality! It was my big day! I wanted to make sure the people that surrounded me, made me feel beautiful, calm, comfortable and confident! Karly did just that! Karly was extremely patient and friendly and did AN AMAZING JOB! She made me feel like I was the most beautiful bride on one of the most important days of my life! I showed her a combination of photos (because of course I couldn’t choose just one) and she pulled it all into one look and I was absolutely obsessed! You absolutely have to book with her!

at Karly's work all over social media I didn't think I needed a trial run, and although I was a little nervous that we didn't do one I KNEW Karly was going to take care of my face, AND SHE DID! She did an amazing job - my bridesmaid and I has the most gorgeous makeup. Karly was very in tune with what I wanted done, and what kind of makeup my bridesmaids wanted as well. I would recommend Karly every single time someone asks me for a make up artist. Hoping I have another event soon just so I can book her again!

We did a trial in her studio which was easy to find, clean, and professional. The trial was excellent and she was able to make me the glam "peachy dewey girl" of my dreams. She even made a custom blend of my lip color and made notes for the formula on the day of. She even gave me a little bottle of it on the wedding day so I could re apply. Planning for the wedding day was straight forward and she was able to book an assistant for the day of because of our schedule restraints. The assistant was the same quality as her and I couldn't have been more pleased. She arrived on time, her tools were organized and clean, and everything was very professional and fun. All of my bridesmaids makeup were gorgeous as well. All of them were comfortable and happy with their results. The bridesmaids ranged in their comfort with wearing makeup and Karly and her assistant were able to accommodate everyone's needs perfectly. Couldn't have been more happy with their work. I would absolutely recommend Karly without any hesitations.

Now moving on to my actual wedding day, you will not believe how HOT that day was, it was the absolute worst heat wave in SoCal and my wedding was outdoors of course. There was no ventilation, it was humid as heck, and everyone was sweating profusely. What was the best possible outcome, our makeup remained INTACT! through dancing, through sweat, through humidity and heat we all looked gorgeous. I had a big ass wedding party 11 bridesmaid plus MOB and MOG and she hired an assistant and made the makeup of our dreams come true. Cannot recommend this woman enough! Hire her if you want the absolute best of the best for your wedding day.

From the first bridal make up trial to the wedding day, Karly was everything I could hope for and more. My make up was absolutely perfect (and I mean it). Seeing myself in the mirror legit on our wedding day brought me in tears after she finished. Karly was one of the best parts and highlights of my wedding y’all. I would hire her 1 million times over, but one wedding is all I can handle in a lifetime ;)

She made me really comfortable upon meeting her and then the trial was seamless. We did have a large bridal party so she brought in an assistant, Ali and she did not disappoint either. Everyone's make up was absolutely stunning and lasted all evening! And I mean that! Through the sweating during the thousands of photos, ceremony, dancing, drinking, etc. everything stayed perfectly with maybe a light powder and lipstick touch up. Another thing I will note is if you are skeptical about using false lashes...DON'T BE. I teared up a few times during photos, the ceremony and our speeches and those bad boys did not come off, not even in the corners. I took them off the next morning and was amazed how intact they still were. I am so glad I booked Karly a year in advance because she is a very sought after artist and if you are looking to feel like Beyonce fabulous, Greek goddess on your big day or for any event, you need to get on it and contact her!

ed out and Karly was amazing about getting back to me in a timely manner, sending me an outline of how she would makeup all 7 of my bridesmaids before my early afternoon timeline AND change locations with us. She even allowed me to add on my mom later down the line and fit her easily in her timeline. I was not able to do a makeup trial and she absolutely blew me away with my face! I have never liked my makeup more and I will definitely be getting my face done by her anytime I have the chance for special occasions. The best part though was watching my girls' faces and my mom's face as they looked at themselves after she finished their makeup. She had my whole party feeling like their best selves! Karly is such a warm, calming presence. She was so great to work with and it was a pleasure to have her as my makeup artist!

glam that I wanted for my wedding look. But, really it wasn't my makeup that I was impressed with, it was my sister's makeup. My sister took a big spill a few days before the wedding and ended up with a gnarly black eye, scabs, etc. It was ROUGH! Karly worked some magic that frankly, I didn't think was possible and made it look as if my sister was unscathed (see Karly's IG for the before and after, it's amazing)! On top of it all, Karly did a beautiful job with all sorts of skin types and skin ages...the moms looked amazing, as did everyone else! You will not regret booking Karly, she's truly an incredible artist.

I booked her super far in advance because I didn't want to miss out on having her, so if you inquire and she has your wedding date open - consider that fate and jump on that opportunity. She made everything so easy; she listened to me and understood what I envisioned for my big day even though I had trouble putting into specific words. I showed her so many makeup inspo photos and she was able to blend everything together and glam me up just as I dreamed. From initially reaching out, officially booking her, scheduling my trial and up to my wedding day she has been nothing short of amazing. She truly went above and beyond to work with me. She was always kind, responsive and honestly such a beautiful person on the inside and out. Karly is a natural, humble, talented professional and I feel so honored to have had her glam me up on my wedding day. I felt beautiful, confident and relaxed on my wedding day. email that I sent out about a new date, I was reassured by Karly that she would be there on my special day, whenever that would be. I actually got to spend a lot of time with Karly because she did my initial trial, engagement makeup session, and also my tea ceremony makeup which was the day before my wedding. I always felt comfortable in Karly’s chair and our conversations were super natural that I felt like I was talking to a friend. We tried a wide range of different makeup styles during each session and I love that Karly is so talented and could do anything that I came up with! Any adjustments that were needed (very few, any) she did with a smile! On the day of the wedding, her and her assistant came on time and even though we were on a tight timeline, we never felt rushed. It was really important for everyone in my bridal party to feel and look beautiful and I’m so glad that Karly and her team were able to do that for me! I loved the way I looked during my wedding weekend thanks to Karly! She genuinely cares about her clients and she will go above and beyond to accommodate as best as she can! On the day of, she was on time, super friendly with my entire bridal party, and made everyone feel and look their best! n-laws for the trial she went over preferences with me and made me feel comfortable. I ended up moving forward and booking her for our 2021 wedding. we had to postpone our wedding but karly was gracious enough to move my deposit to the new date. I ended up doing another makeup trial closer to our new wedding date. this time I went to Karly's studio which was adorable- clean and in a safe neighborhood. The second makeup trial turned out even better then the first- which I didn't know was possible. Up until the wedding day I had been texting Karly random makeup questions, timeline recommendations which she was very responsive and super helpful. She even gave me a recommendation for a place to get a spray tan for my wedding. I truly feel like she went above and beyond. The wedding day came and I've never felt more beautiful. Thanks again to Karly, she is truly talented and a kind person.

She worked with me from day one to make the perfect schedule and a handful of revisions for ALL my bridesmaids/mothers. Her talent with makeup is also out of this world! All of us ladies looked picturesque the ENTIRE day (even lasting to the next morning). Her application will not go anywhere. She glammed us all up beautifully. I'm so grateful to have gotten to work with her!!

ne added stress off my shoulders. She was originally booked for my wedding date, but due to a covid cancellation my day became open again! She reached back out to me & informed me she was available so I took the first opportunity to get my contract & deposit in!! We had met 2 months before me wedding and did a trial, she traveled to my home since most places were still closed. She went into great detail when asking what look I was going for & what I did/didn't like in a makeup look. She took EVERYTHING I said to heart and absolutely NAILED it. I knew I had made the right choice in that moment. Come my wedding day she took great care of all my girls and was able to achieve each girls requested look. Some wanted soft neutral glam and others wanted a bold statement look. Each girl looked GORGEOUS. My makeup was spot on to how the trial went and lasted ALL DAY AND NIGHT. Through the tears and all. Karly was even sweet enough to stick around after first looks to touch up before the ceremony. My friends and I STILL talk about what an amazing makeup artist Karly is. When I looked through Karly's instagram, it comforted me knowing she had done make up for women of diverse skin tones. Karly did such an amazing job with my wedding day make up, and she made my bridal party and family look so fabulous, as well! My friends and I keep wishing that Karly could do our make up everyday so we could look that fab everyday! She also did my make up for my wedding rehearsal dinner on short notice, and I felt like a celebrity after she did my make up. Karly was very responsive in her communications with me, and she showed up on time on the wedding day. Last minute, my cousin requested if she could also get her make up done, and Karly was flexible in accommodating her. I will definitely be going back to Karly over and over again for future events :)

We met for a trial and I was so happy with how the trial went. I even went on an unplanned hike near the beach and my makeup did not budge! Karly is a great artist and you will be glad you book her if you do. She’s very professional and so punctual! We had a very early start time (5AM) for my wedding and at 4:45AM she was there to get ready for set up. She even remained calm with my difficult mother lol. s. The only makeup I wear is mascara and a little brow pencil so when I say that makeup is intimidating, I mean it. Not only did the makeup feel weightless, but I also felt like a model. I was worried about looking like a "clown" but Karly only enhanced my natural features so that when I looked in the mirror, I looked like myself. I kind of gave her an idea of what I wanted and she absolutely nailed it. Even when I pulled an audible on my wedding day, switching it up from the trial we did at my engagement shoot. Seriously you guys, I have extremely oily skin and my eyeshadow always creases, my make up that day DID NOT BUDGE ALL NIGHT! When we met, she was even more genuine in person and truly a kind soul. 2020 was a crazy year with lots of ups and down with so much unknown for us brides. I was very lucky I got to keep my wedding date and Karly was along for the ride every step of the way. On my wedding day, she arrived early and was very professional. I come from a loud family and she fit right in with us and our goofiness'! My bridesmaids make-up turned out so stunning and I know the girls were very happy with their results.
