About this vendor
Karlye Melynn Photography is a wedding photographer based in Dallas, TX. Through her documentary style, owner Karlye Melynn aims to provide an honest account of your wedding day. Her collection of crisp, clean photographs will serve as a beautiful reminder of your most special moments.
Karlye got her start in photography while she was living in New York City studying film and editorial makeup. During her studies, she found herself most at home behind the lens to photograph her work. Breaking out of her comfort zone and moving to the big city allowed her to truly realize this passion, and share her gift with engaged couples.
By nature, Karlye is relaxed and professional with a tone that makes her relatable to many couples. This helps her clients feel comfortable and leads her to capture the true emotions of each wedding. Treasured memories will be encapsulated for years to come through love and a little bit of laughter.
Engagement shoots, rehearsal dinners, and weddings can all be covered by this talented photographer. Karlye Melynn Photography can provide couples with digital files, wedding albums, and printed enlargements to preserve your favorite moments. In order to suit a variety of budgets, she offers several packages that incorporate a range of services. For those requiring additional coverage, a second photographer may be available for your event. Karlye loves to travel and would be happy to discuss packages for your destination wedding.

ow beautifully she captured each moment, I knew she was the photographer I wanted to trust with mine.
Karlye truly cares about her clients, and has a gift at making people feel comfortable in front of a camera. The energy and intentionality she brings to the weekend make her much more than a photographer, but a valuable addition to the most special moments!
She’s become the go-to photographer for our family (3 weddings and 1 newborn photo shoot so far!) and I would highly recommend her to anyone I know!
Karlye is the absolute sweetest human and ultimate hype girl! Her work is absolutely INCREDIBLE and I would HIGHLY recommend her! If you want to have a blast while also getting stu...

ure all your special moments so naturally, and with all of your inspo in mind. Karlye traveled with us to Las Vegas to capture our engagement and our elopement, she went above and beyond to make sure we got every shot, even hiking up mountains and through the desert in the Vegas heat! She has such an incredible eye, even if you come to her with no idea of what you want, she will be able to guide and direct you into the most beautiful photos that match your style and capture your love. Thank you, Karlye!
Karlye is the only photographer I trust. She has captured endless special memories of our family that we will cherish for years to come. We have used her for many stages of life an...
d I am kicking myself that I didn’t meet her until after our wedding day. She captures stunning (not cheesy) staged photos as well as the most breathtaking candid photos. She makes the session SUPER fun, effortless and you don’t feel like a goober posing. She gives you clear direction and is amazing with kids (including the ornery 2 year olds 😅). She captures each family members unique personalities and is intentional with each person and shot! Super creative! Super fun! Ridiculously amazing photos! I wish there were words to express how much she and her photos mean to us as well as how incredible she is!
Where do I even begin to describe Karlye?! BEST PHOTOGRAPHER HANDS DOWN. If you are looking for a wedding photographer look no further. She went above and beyond what we expected f...
or our wedding day! Not only were the photos she took something out of a dream, but she was amazing and so easy to work with. She walked into the venue and got right to work without asking. Karlye was the photographer at our wedding, but made so much more of an impact! My friends raved about her and her second photographers fun easy going personalities! They thought they were part of the party which they were. I would suggest her to anyone for anything! I’m hoping to do possible anniversary/ maternity photos in the future and will be using her again!
We had the best time working with Karlye. We knew that she was talented after she shot my sister's wedding, but the personal experience of working with her was better than we could...
have asked for! She helped us capture the details and big picture of our wedding day so carefully, and with ease. The photos turned out beautifully, and she was such a fun addition to our team leading up to and on our big day. I could not recommend her more!
Karlye is my go to girl for any photos! She did my engagement photos, my wedding photos, my dad’s wedding, and my maternity photos! She is always fun to shoot pictures with and is ...
really good at shooting natural photos. Also the way that she edits makes each photo that much better. I would recommend her to anyone that needs photos for any event!

tured every detail beautifully and the emotion in every photo is the sweetest. Just recently she photographed the newest fur member of our crew! Taking photos with a puppy is not easy, but every photo from that session has been saved into an album of my favorites. I love looking around my house and seeing all of these photos that we have thanks to Karlye. Four years worth of memories thanks to her. Karlye goes above and beyond, always. She truly is more than just a someone who captures life moments! She is one of our biggest blessings and someone who will be a part of our lives forever.

ghting and really bringing out the pure happiness that looks amazing in photos, without it looking fake or forced.
A little later on she photographed my families first photos with our baby girl that I am still obsessed with to this day. Kids are not always the easiest to capture but she managed to make my oldest have a great time while taking the cutest sibling/family photos ever!
Not only did she capture moments I will cherish forever, but she made it beyond enjoyable throughout the whole process by guiding us with such ease and professionalism.
I can’t recommend her enough!
Karlye is an amazing photographer!! She has done so many of our pictures in the past, that were so beautiful we had to use her for our wedding pictures to capture the most special ...
moments. which she completely nailed! You know she’s a great photographer when the pictures you receive make you feel like you can relive those captured moments over and over again!
Karlye was AMAZING and our pictures came out perfectly. She made me feel so comfortable during our bridals (which I thought would be kind of awkward posing alone), and killed it on...
our wedding day. She was also super responsive and helpful leading up to the wedding, which was so appreciated. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding photographer, or a photographer for anything for that matter!
Thanks Karlye, you’re the best!!
She captured every moment beautifully for my wedding. Karlye is so calm, focused, and always in the moment. This is important because you don’t want someone who will take over the ...
day. She simply let everything unfold naturally and was there to capture each special moment in the most beautiful and exquisite manner. She is also fun, kind, and makes you comfortable enough to relax. She has such a knack for natural light and can capture it in such a clean and authentic way. You see so many photographers who use these filters & slap a “gold” or “yellow” stamp on pictures, and that’s just not natural and authentic. Her work is clean, bright, and a breath of fresh air. There was not one picture I didn’t love, and she made me feel so beautiful in the moment. Planning to use her for other family photos in the future!
Karlye is awesome!! Not only does she take amazing photos, but she is so sweet and easy to work with as well. She coordinated all details with the venue we were shooting at, and wa...
s always prompt with texts and any questions I had. While shooting, she talked me through different poses and made you feel comfortable with each shot which is portrayed effortlessly in her photos! She used the lighting wonderfully and had all sorts of ideas for different poses and shot positions throughout our venue location. She is wonderful and so talented and I would highly recommend using her for your photography needs!!
