With her extensive experience in the industry, Vanessa takes wedding planning to another level- she has the timeline nailed down to a tee and has such fantastic relationships with top tier vendors, that you cannot go wrong. She has truly seen it all and is prepared for everything (i.e., groomsmen forgetting tuxedo shirt studs). I felt like I could truly be present at my wedding without the mental load of thinking of the little details, because KarmaGoddess had it all covered. The whole team is extremely responsive and communicates in a (very appreciated) timely manner. To top it all off, Vanessa has the most calm and tranquil demeanor, which really sets the tone for a stress-free wedding day. She went above and beyond in so many ways and made my entire experience. amily is South American. Vanessa & her right hand, Katya, gave us the cultural fusion wedding of our dreams. Choosing Karma Goddess as our planning team was by far our best decision in wedding planning. I'd say the #1 reason would be how Vanessa & Katya were able to read our personalities and really cater their guidance to how my husband and I best made decisions. A close second reason would be how available/flexible Vanessa was for the entire 1.5 years we worked with her. Vanessa held many evening and weekend meetings and never made us feel rushed. We often thought back to the many planners we interviewed who said they would have a set number of meetings with us and that blew our minds. We probably talked to Vanessa almost every day via phone or text in the weeks leading up to our wedding. As far as connections, they found us discounts or affordable recommendations in Miami that easily made working with them worthwhile. Being in medicine, neither of us had a clue about design or event planning. Vanessa organized everything while still letting us make all the decisions. She found a way to present just enough variety of options without overwhelming us. By the end of our time together, she was already predicting what we would pick with complete accuracy :) They are extremely passionate about what they do, and genuinely enjoy problem solving and getting creative. We only had to visit Miami twice (a plus for us as we were swamped with our new jobs) but they would have welcomed us as many times as we wanted. We had the best time venue touring and food tasting with Vanessa and Katya. We hung out with them extra because we genuinely enjoyed spending time with them. The wedding days (this was a 3 day Indian fusion wedding) would not have gone as smoothly without them. When we ran into issues with the hotel, Vanessa and her team quickly solved them with a phone call. We later found out she also put out fires that we didn't even notice at the time. We get so many compliments on the design, food, and organization of our wedding and give Vanessa and her team all of the credit. We were in total awe when we saw how our reception space turned out in person. I would strongly recommend Karma Goddess without any hesitation to any of my closest friends or family planning a wedding. You will remember this day for the rest of your lives, and having a team who is as invested and passionate about making your big day a success is more than worth it.

We genuinely enjoyed all of our meetings with her – she has a very positive and calming vibe, which can be very helpful! The final weeks leading up to our wedding were peak Omicron, and we had a lot of big wrenches thrown our way, but you would have NO idea because the wedding itself was absolutely flawless. If there were any actual issues the day of the wedding, I had no idea. Everything ran perfectly on time (even ahead!), and all of the details the day of tied together perfectly. I have never seen a wedding run so smooth. When I walked in to the room I literally started jumping for joy at how perfect everything came together. She really understood my vision, and was able to bring it to live. She provided great vendors, and worked well with the vendors that we wanted to bring in. I was able to completely let go the day of the wedding and leave all the details and coordinating to Vanessa and her team. It was so nice to just be able to focus on the fun stuff since I knew they had everything under control. Also shout out to Katya who spent a good portion of the day with making sure I was taken care of (including gluing my eyelash back on after cocktail hour). I felt they were genuinely invested in helping us have the best day possible, and could feel their excitement about our wedding. Vanessa, from the moment I met her, had incredible energy and smile that made all the wedding planning stress go away. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without her. We had to move our wedding THREE times due to COVID. I still remember the first time we talked about possibly moving our original wedding date- 5/2/2021- when COVID first started. I was in denial, I could not believe it was happening, but Vanessa made it clear that I need to move my date ASAP in order for me to get the date I want. Our wedding was at Vizcaya, so of course, this popular venue was already full a year out but we were able to find another perfect date thanks to Vanessa’s quick phone calls and decisions. Everyone thinks moving wedding 3 times must’ve been very stressful, but it honestly was not at all with Vanessa by my side. She has such incredible relationships with all the vendors that everything just worked out so smoothly. Vanessa was there for me for TWO AND A HALF YEARS, always available to talk to. My wedding day was amazing because of her and her team. I managed myself to not cry throughout my wedding until I said goodbye to her in the end, I could not even get myself to give her a hug cuz I knew I was gonna start bawling- she was such an incredible support throughout and she made the wedding just MAGICAL. I still can’t believe how perfect everything was, my guests commented that it was not only the best wedding they have been to, but also so well programmed that it was a such a seamless and incredible experience for them. Weather was perfect (“vanessa magic”), we LOVED our photographer that Vanessa highly ecommended from the beginning, Korean traditional ceremony we put together last minute went amazing, DJ was so much fun, and just everything was PERFECT. The only advice I want to give future brides is that you should just TRUST HER. I am the kind of person who needs to do a thorough research about everything to make sure I made the right choice, but all my research led me back to Vanessa’s first recommendation. So please, save yourself time, and just go with her recommendations. She knows the best. I don’t want to end this review because I feel like this will really be the end of my incredible journey with her, but my family, husband (!), and I want to sincerely thank all of the amazing team members of Karma goddess for working the magic and make our dream come true. She was there to help with anything and everything we needed all day and thought about all of the little things we had not thought about. There were some things I didn't know about until after the wedding, such as that my family had prepared a surprise video from guests that couldn't make it to the wedding. Unfortunately they kept it as too much of a surprise, because truly no one (none of the vendors or our venue) knew about it and there was no plan to set up the screen or anything. Luckily Vanessa came to the rescue! I don't know what she did or worked out, but somehow she worked her magic to make everything run very smoothly, as if it had been part of the plan all along. You can tell that Vanessa truly cares about her clients and really does everything in her power to make this the best day ever. I will admit, I was uncertain about hiring a coordinator at first, but I am so, so happy that we did! Out of everything, hiring Karma Goddess was truly the best decision we made and the best money we spent! She met a few times with the hotel coordinator as well as other vendors even when we were not in town. We were constantly mailing her packages for the wedding and the day we landed for the wedding weekend - she met with us and gave us everything we had shipped. On the day of the wedding, she was constantly around, her colleagues were consistently making sure my husband and I were okay. She made the whole day go smoothly, especially with our procession and entrances. At the end of the wedding she dropped a bunch of our things back to our room so we wouldn't have to worry about it. She gave us a peace of mind we wouldn't have had had we attempted to manage the wedding on our own. She was so easy to talk to and answered texts at any hour of the day. We are grateful for her tireless energy and for allowing us to enjoy our wedding day without stressing about anything!

I found her to be extremely organized, very prompt with responses to emails (which is huge when you're dealing with a ton of vendors and need answers quickly), and takes her work very seriously. At the start, she made countless revisions to our proposals to help get it to our budget comfortable level and towards the end when the stress started setting it, she went above and beyond what I expected by sending emails to each one of my vendors and making sure that everything would run smooth on wedding day. She even offered to track down vendors that were missing-in-action. The decor was gorgeous- I opted for smaller centerpieces, but so many people commented on how awesome they were. Overall, great service and a great choice!

Karma Goddess is based out of Florida but my husband and I live in the Washington DC metro area, and she handled us as if we were local. I know that I have probably sent her hundreds of emails, texts throughout the entire planning process but she responded back to all of them and right away, even if later in the evening. She had a true concept of open door policy. I never had to reach out to her, she always provided me with a week’s agenda and action items list to concur that week and month. She never worried me with details that she could handle on her own. Karma Goddess comes with vendor recommendations and management, budget planning and management, and time management.
