Pavol did a phenomenal job capturing our June 2021 wedding! He arrived early and worked late into the night to catch all of the day’s best moments - big and small - and he compiled them into a professional edit which we will rewatch and treasure for years to come. He was also very friendly and easy to work with, communicating about our needs and expectations in advance and directing us through the important shots on the day of. Kasala Photography was absolutely phenomenal for our wedding day. The packages were customizable so I got everything I wanted and didn't have to pay for anything I didn't want. Pavol was responsive and kind leading up to the wedding, and he captured our wedding day perfectly. He took pictures of all the details without us telling him to and made sure we captured all the photos we asked and then some. We could not be happier with our photos!

Pavol did the videography for our wedding in July, 2021. Pavol was SUCH A TREAT to work with. He is so kind and cares deeply about the couples he works with. I was especially impressed with his knowledge of Crested Butte and was really helpful scouting locations for first look and great shots. He was very organized and always professional, returning emails VERY promptly and making payments really easy. Most importantly, he made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and just really made us feel like ourselves on our special day!

Kasala Productions is absolutely incredible! I have worked with Pavol in many circumstances, and he always impresses me beyond my expectations. He has a natural ability to capture the true beauty of each event that he documents, and he does it with a friendly, caring attitude! I have worked alongside him at many weddings, and I even hired him to photograph my own wedding! I cry every time I watch his videos because he did such a fantastic job filming and editing. Pavol was a breeze to work with. We canceled our original plans for 140 person wedding because of COVID and did a small eight-person wedding with just our immediate family instead. Pavol was super-fast with communication and had an elopement package that was perfect for us. He even suggested places for our elopement ceremony, above and beyond. Pavol was great to spend the day with, and you could tell he was such a professional. The end product was excellent. Kasala Productions is a hidden gem. If you are reading this, then you are in the midst of wedding planning and trying to figure out what is important to both of you. We really wanted photo AND video at our ranch wedding and we cannot stress how amazing everything turned out. We hired Pavol to do our engagement photos and immediately knew we wanted him to be our wedding photographer as well. He is professional, very skilled, adaptive, creative, and honestly just fun to spend an afternoon with! My husband and I had a very small budget for our wedding. When I first reached out to Pavol, the quote he gave me was not something we could do. But, Pavol came up with an option we could manage with concessions in other areas. Get a simpler cake, do your own makeup, get a second job. My wife (Emma G) has already reviewed Kasala Productions but I feel compelled to add/echo her comments and add to the rating - something I've never done before! Right from the beginning, our experience was positive - Pavol was incredibly responsive and sent us borderline immediate replies to all of our questions. From the day we asked for a quote (via Thumbtack - also recommended) until our wedding, this level of attentiveness never changed! Our first time meeting Pavol and his wife Mary was in their hometown of Crested Butte for our engagement photos. We drove from Denver and it was such a fun trip into the mountains. I was afraid of engagement photos being awkward (just like most guys) since I'm not a natural behind the lens, but we had so much FUN taking them! They turned out phenomenally and we were able to acquaint ourselves with our wonderful photographers/videographers. Our wedding was in Westminster and they happily made the trip from Crested Butte. When the situation called for an experienced, artistic eye to set the stage, Pavol would calmly give direction; when the memorable moments of our celebration unfolded (oftentimes, spontaneously) Pavol and his crew hung back as flies on the wall to capture it. The collective end product is an absolutely perfect memento of our day. If you're in Colorado, book Kasala Productions!!

Pavol is everything we could have dreamed for in a photographer and videographer for our wedding and MORE. He is always quick to respond and as a bride, that was extremely comforting. The photos (from our engagement and wedding) captured us perfectly-- our love, our personalities and our laughter. Our wedding video is next level and to be able relive that day is priceless. Pavol and his family are SO MUCH FUN to work with. The wedding day can be stressful, especially during family photos. Pavol worked so hard to ensure we checked off all of the photos on our wish list, and with family and a wedding party of 20 this was not an easy task. He also made sure we had fun photos and had great, creative suggestions for us. The amount of photos and video footage we received tripled our expectations. If you haven't booked him yet, get on it! Also, take advantage of the wedding video guest book-- it was a great way to capture our guests and their sweet messages for us. Pavol has offered to re-edit our photos and video (unnecessary because he is amazing and did not need our direction), but I mention it because if you've got a certain vision in mind, he will make it come to life and won't stop until you're extremely satisfied. Pavol Kasala is mind-blowingly good! His vast wedding photography experience (especially in the outdoors) helped us create the most spectacular wedding photos. His passion for capturing our moment was evident from the first shot; he caught everything we wanted and more. I truly can't recommend Kasala Productions highly enough. Pavol's not only an absurdly good photographer, the man's a blast to hang around which makes the entire process so much easier. And, of course, our finalized pics and video turned out beautifully. If his messages are any indication of how he does business I would stay clear. My fiancé and I got a very reasonable quote (from someone else) but wanted to check out other prices due to our small budget and this guy left a bad taste. He started off great - super nice, but when I told him we could not afford $3,000 for video he asked what kind of budget we were working with and what we expected to get from it and that and maybe he could work something out. I proceeded to tell him that we were quoted $1500 for full day and I guess he didn’t like that. He said he wouldn’t race with people driving the industry down and then said he hopes the guy who gave me that quote would stay in business long enough to deliver my movie. I simply responded that he need not worry about this other vendor and told him to have a great day. However this kind of attitude is not tolerated and you cannot be snippy when you don't get your way. BRIDES BE WARNED

We're so glad we found Kasala Productions to be our wedding videographer! The day of your wedding really does go by quickly, and having a video of the day that you can watch over and over again is truly invaluable. Pavol and Mary were taking video all day, from the pre-wedding preparations to the last dance at the reception. Our video was edited so beautifully and was really more like an artistic movie than a wedding video. Pavol was quick to respond to questions over e-mail and had our video edited within a few weeks of the wedding. I would highly recommend Kasala Productions!

Pavol and Mary blew my expectations out of the water! Before the wedding they took the time to understand our needs, and personalize our package to fit them. Then they drove to our rehearsal dinner, which was at least 30 minutes from where the wedding took place, just to explain to me where they would arrange the cameras the next day. The fact they were so willing to talk to us and explain how the next day would work put me at complete ease. They were incredibly flexible with arriving early enough to get shots of getting ready, taking AMAZING footage on the venue, and then having every possible of the ceremony and then staying until the very end of the reception. They were so kind and sweet to work with, ensuring we got everything we wanted without interfering. I just got my wedding video back and it is beyond my expectations. I cannot express how grateful I am to have had Pavol and Mary a part of my special day. Their work is truly AMAZING, and it clearly shines through in all of their videos. We could not be happier with our two hour edited video of the whole wedding, a highlight video, and a rehearsal video. I don't think that I could have had another videographer that worked as hard as Pavol and Mary. They were very receptive to my own ideas, and I am very grateful for that. The customer service that they bring to the table is incredible. Not something you see very often these days. I also very much appreciated the quick response time for all of my questions that I had. I decided last minute to do videography for my wedding, and when I inquired about it online, Pavol called me back within at least 10 min. After talking with him, I knew it was the right decision to make. I never expected to forget the little moments from my wedding day, but after watching our 2 hour video I realized how grateful I was to have it. All of our funny moments while taking pictures, inside jokes, speeches, you name it, they were all captured. This video provides so much more than photos ever could. There is a theme with Pavol and Mary's work, and that is story telling. The best day of your life should be able to be played back like a story (a true fairy tale if you will), and that is exactly how Pavol and Mary edited mine. I didn't know what to expect with my videos, and what I received was SO much more. Pavol and Mary were great to work with! They were professional, hardworking and you can truly tell they enjoy what they do. They went above and beyond, by traveling to our ceremony site in the mountains and attending our ceremony rehearsal so the wedding party/family/officiant were all on the same page. As the Mother of the Bride, my job was to find someone to video the wedding. I spent hours and hours scouring the Knot for someone that was artistic with the editing and telling the "story" of the day. I wanted it to be romantic and "real" at the same time and also not break the bank. Some of the prices these people ask for wedding video is ridiculous! I wanted a highlight video to put on Facebook that really showed the emotion and romance of the day and I also wanted an edited version of the whole day with everything in it that would be just for family. From the moment I talked with Pavol Kasala, I had a great feeling about him. I loved that he got back to me in emails to answer all my questions. I loved that his wife, Mary, comes and helps him. I love that they both come to the rehearsal to get the "lay of the land". Really, by the end of the wedding they feel like part of the family! The finished product? Better than anything I could have dreamed of! The quality, the colors, the sound, the priceless moments captured forever! And Pavol bends over backwards to please us. Both my daughter and I had a few requests and he happily made those happen. Even my daughter, who initially questioned the need for the wedding to be filmed (I was absolutely positive that we can't do all this work and not have it recorded on film!!) is now the happiest bride and has thanked me over and over for doing this. We have had over 700 views of it on FB and over and over again people tell us how amazing the highlight video is. Pavol and Mary are a class act and the work and service is flawless. I would hire them again in a minute.

Pavol and his wife Mary are hilarious, incredibly kind, down to earth and easy to work with. My mother selected a videographer for my wedding and I blindly assumed it would be good. Kasala Productions was GREAT. And at a great price! I was so pleased. It is so hard to tell how vendors will really be when selecting from hundreds of choices over the internet or phone. He took excellent footage with great lighting and sound, but the best part was how flexible he was with us AFTER the wedding, to create both the highlight film and full movie that we wanted. We had not met Pavol and Mary prior to our son's wedding in Crested Butte as we live in Virginia, but from the moment we met during the rehearsal and throughout the wedding and beyond, they were the quintessential professional wedding videographers. I always knew when I got married one of the most important things to me about the wedding was to have an amazing videographer so I could relive my wedding day for the rest of my life. I was nervous because I was having an out of state wedding and did not know any of the local vendors. The second I saw one of Pavol and Mary's wedding videos, I knew they were the ones that I wanted capturing the most special day of our lives. Pavol and Mary were absolutely incredible. They communicated with me throughout the year leading up to the wedding and I felt as if they were more wedding guests! Even though they lived hours away from my wedding venue, they drove down the night before to scope out the place and ended up helping us during rehearsal! My daughter got married in Windsor, CO and Pavlo and his wife drove all the way there to attend the rehearsal and wedding. I was skeptical about weather having a videographer would be worth the cost and intrusion. It was so worth it! Our big day was in a bit of a remote location so my family that couldn't make it really enjoyed it. It was wonderful for my husband and I to have the opportunity to watch the ceremony and toasts.
