Kasie Kailyn Events is a wedding planning & design service, based in Charlotte, NC. Owner Kasie Shaw discovered her love of weddings while working in the industry under one of Charlotte’s top luxury planners. Kasie has been in the wedding industry since 2013. On top of her years working for a high end luxury planner she also had the pleasure of representing a beautiful wedding venue, as well as working with a vintage wedding rental company. Her experience in different niches of the wedding industry allows her to bring many different skills and perspectives to her planning and design process.
Kasie has a passion for organization, to-do lists, and a Type-A personality that "can't relax until its all done"! We pride ourselves on giving our couples, not only a stress-free planning journey but also a fun one! We love to have fun every step of the way and enjoy life to the fullest! We often find ourselves making life-long friendships with our brides because we become so close through our coffee or wine planning meetings.

Kasie Kailyn Events features three distinct packages to help couples bring their wedding dreams to life. Kasie’s full-service package ensures that no detail is overlooked, and she is available for unlimited communication throughout the planning process. From budget management to sending gifts home, she guides soon-to-be newlyweds through each step of the experience. Kasie’s partial planning package is for those who have a good grasp on their vendors and vision but need the guidance and help to execute their dreams. Alternately, hands-on couples may prefer the coordination package so they can have an industry professional’s advice while planning their special day.

worked in events for a lot of my career so I put a lot of time and thought into the decision (just like every other decision for my wedding...which is why I needed help! ha). I requested quotes and more information from maybe 20 planners, interviewed 6-7, and then went with Kasie. I knew right away she was put together and organized, got my vision, and what was most important to me, understood my budget. Kasie was incredibly tuned in to my budget, what was important to me, and helped me with every little step, always showing me where I could cut costs on things that weren't important to me or go bigger on things that did matter to me.
She exceeded my expectations at every step. I feel like I got more support than I was expecting with the partial planning package and she was always a text message away when I had questions. She had the best advice for vendors that had my vision and were within budget, and kept the vendors I had already booked in line. I feel like she had wisdom beyond her years, like she had been in the industry for 50 years - ha! She helped bring my vision to life of a colorful, Italian feel day.
My wedding was meant to be an outdoor wedding in front of the Vanlandingham Estate, cocktail hour outside and in the house, and then dinner, toasts, and dancing in a tent. HOWEVER, about a week out we were pretty confident we would get horrible weather with Hurricane Ian. Kasie was always on my side and fought for me when we had any issues with anyone. I knew I could leave all the details in her hands. Once I had made all the necessary decisions with her guidance to weather-proof the event, I just let any worry go and enjoyed the week with friends and family. The weather was horrific - probably the worst weather day of the year, but my guests were warm and dry and I didn't have any worries on the day.

y weddings. I was prepared for a stressful weekend and a hectic wedding day. When I arrived at 9AM on Saturday, I brought this feeling with me.
I was busy unloading things for the day with a sense of urgency, when I asked Kasie a question about an easel that I brought. It needed to be assembled and I figured it was the first of many things that needed be done. As we talked, it dawned on me that she was very calm and relaxed. Her assistant was also very calm, but very attentive. They both assured me that they could take care of the easel and everything else that I dropped off. It took a little while longer, but I finally realized that Kasie had absolutely everything under control. She had everything planned and was executing that plan with confidence and professionalism. I started to relax.
By the time the guests had all been seated and we were ready to start the ceremony, my wife and I had already enjoyed a wonderful day with the wedding party, our son, our future daughter in law, her family, and even the minister! It was a blast! By that time of the day, no one was stressed, worried, or nervous. The rain held off. The ceremony went perfectly and absolutely was beautiful. The guests had a great time. I credit this experience to Kasie and her crew.
I could tell several more stories about how wonderful the day went, and there's no guarantee your event will be as great as our day was, but if you want to put the odds in your favor, seriously consider talking to Kasie about your wedding.
