Choosing Kassie as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions I made for our special day! She was incredibly friendly, communicative, and made us feel at ease. Not only is she affordable, but her quality of work is absolutely exceptional.
Kassie has an amazing talent for making you feel comfortable in front of the camera. My partner and I are not natural posers, but Kassie guided us with ease. Her directions were clear, making the whole process fun and stress-free.
What truly sets Kassie apart is her organizational skills and ability to take charge. On our wedding day, she was like a second wedding coordinator. Kassie made sure we got every shot we wanted and kept us perfectly on schedule. She went above and beyond, even bringing us drinks and making sure we took the time to eat dinner. Her attention to detail and genuine care for our well-being were evident throughout the day.
Kassie also blew us away with her quick turnaround time. We received sneak peek photos within a day or two, which was such a nice surprise. Our full album was ready in less than 8 weeks, capturing every beautiful moment and emotion perfectly.

If you are looking for a phenomenal, personable, caring, dedicated photographer, Kassie is your girl! From our engagement pictures all the way to our wedding day, Kassie was always so helpful and willing to give advice whenever we needed it. Not to mention, her bridal guide is full of everything you need to know to make your wedding pictures your dreams come true! We had to reschedule our engagement pictures due to unforeseen circumstances and Kassie sent us flowers that night because she felt bad we had to reschedule. We were so touched at how thoughtful that was, but couldn't believe during a hard day for Kassie that she was still thinking about her clients! If that doesn't say dedication, I don't know what does! The day of the wedding we were on a tight timeline due to the sun going down so early in the winter and the timing of our ceremony we had to forgo a first look. Kassie was so efficient the entire day in making sure we got every picture we wanted and we even made it with time to spare! Not only was she outstanding with our photos, but she was always making sure we had drinks in our hands and we were actually enjoying ourselves and that we were taken care of. We had so many people tell us what a rockstar our photographer was the days after the wedding. I feel like most guests don't pick up on stuff like that, but Kassie stood out to so many people. Now for our final gallery. I cried looking through all of our pictures. I couldn't pick a favorite because literally every single picture was my favorite. I wish we could give Kassie more than five stars. If she has your date available, BOOK HER!

I didn’t plan to become an entrepreneur. I was just trying to make something out of the pieces life handed me.
A blog here, a camera there, a few glasses of wine and a crafting event in between, somewhere along the way, I stopped piecing things together and started building something real.
I met my husband when I was 23 at Coyote Ugly in New York City and married him two years later. He’s in the Marine Corps, which means we’ve moved more times than I can count... from Japan to Georgia to North Carolina to Virginia to California and back again... learning how to build a life wherever we land.
It was in Japan, unable to find steady work, that I picked up a camera and started documenting our life through a travel blog. What began as a creative outlet slowly became a business.
When we moved back stateside and I had our first daughter, photography became something more. I built a wedding photography business while raising babies, hosting styled shoots, and creating spaces where people could connect and create together. I didn’t realize it at the time, but I was learning that I love more than just capturing moments. I love creating environments where people feel seen.
In 2023, shortly after moving back to Virginia, I was diagnosed with low grade serous ovarian cancer. What followed was surgery, recovery, and a shift in how I see everything: my work, my time, and what actually matters.
I’m stable now, but that season changed me. It clarified what I want my life to look like, not just my business.
These days, I photograph weddings and families with a focus on what lasts... the relationships, the in-between moments, the things you’ll want to remember years from now.
Because at the end of the day, this isn’t just about photos. It’s about building a life you don’t want to rush through.
