I worked with Katie for my event and she was incredible. She was exceptionally organized and responsive to my questions. She provided enough structure and guidance for the day before and the day of that I felt completely at ease without being overwhelmed. The day of ran so smoothly, all thanks to Katie's proactivity to identify and address potential issues. I'm extremely grateful I got to work with Katie who helped give me and my husband the perfect day.
I'd recommend Cheryl-Anne and Katie 10 times out of 10!

ing. We had a few sticky situations with some of our other vendors that she expertly helped navigate and I don't know what we would have done without her! We were both so relaxed and able to enjoy our big day because we knew we were in such good hands. Our wedding was everything we dreamed of thanks to Cheryl-Anne!
We hired Cheryl-Anne for Design services for our wedding in Costa Rica and it was the best wedding decision we made! I have worked in the Raleigh wedding industry for 10+ years and...
have had the pleasure of working alongside Cheryl-Anne for many of those years. So when it came to hiring a wedding planner for my own wedding, even though it was destination, I knew I wanted to work with someone locally here for the ease of the actual planning. As someone who has been in the industry for so long and has planned many weddings for others - it's just different when you're doing it for yourself. And having the knowledge of how much work truly does go into planning a wedding, I knew I couldn't do it without someone like Cheryl-Anne by my side. With having to deal with destination wedding vendors, I knew that Cheryl-Anne would thrive because of how professional, organized and diligent she is but she truly exceeded our expectations.
First and foremost, her wedding design was exactly what I wanted and dreamed of! Even though we decided to get married in Costa Rica I told Cheryl-Anne in our first design meeting that I didn't want anything to feel super tropical or boho. I asked her to put together a design that was "costal modern chic" which is... kind of random... but she truly hit the nail on the head. It ended up being better than I could've ever imagined.
Throughout the planning process Cheryl-Anne kept me on task and would always check in to ensure we were timely in booking vendors, hitting deadlines, etc. She communicated with our vendors on our behalf and many times without me even included as to not clog up my inbox with logistics that I didn't need to be involved in. As a control freak, this was incredibly helpful for me as to not add unnecessary stress during planning. She also assisted us in planning our Welcome Party and our Catamaran Day!
During the actual wedding week, Cheryl-Anne and Katie could not have been more helpful and accommodating. I literally did not have to worry or think about one thing involving the wedding festivities. They handled all vendor questions, helped ensure that my husband and I were taken care of and ensured none of our family members had to lift a finger. From setting up every detail of our Welcome Party to ensuring all of the logistics were coordinated for our Catamaran day and everything in between, everything was truly flawless.I am anxious by nature and multiple friends and family made comments to me during the wedding week about how relaxed I was and how shocked they were by that. My response was always "it's all thanks to Cheryl-Anne and Katie". I was able to be truly present and enjoy the time with all of our friends and family who traveled there to celebrate with us. For that, I truly cannot thank them enough. It made all the difference to have them as a part of our special day and all of our celebrations.

ng to transcend into a breathtaking reality. Like a master maestro, she transformed our ideas into a realm surpassing our wildest imaginings. Amidst the planning journey, Cheryl-Anne infused a blend of fun, ease, and stress-free orchestration, assuring us that every detail, grand or small, was attended to. Entrusting Kast Events with our day was an invaluable choice, gifting us a storybook start to our marriage! Could not recommend more!

d I with realistic expectations regarding our budget, which helped us navigate what to cut and what to keep for our wedding. She also listened and took extensive notes regarding the vision we had for our wedding, and she made our vision come to life in every single way. My husband was very skeptical about how important a wedding planner was when I started meeting with potential planners, but since our wedding day, he has been telling all of his friends that a wedding planner is the number one thing that they should budget for. Our wedding would not have run smoothly without Cheryl-Anne and her team, and I would not have been as calm as I was on our wedding day without her. Kast Events is a DREAM TEAM. Words truly cannot begin to express the gratitude that I have for Cheryl-Anne, Katie, and the entire Kast Events team. Thank you for making our wedding day the happiest day of our lives!
THE ABSOLUTE BEST TEAM!!

as stress-free as it possibly could be.
We got married in the middle of a hurricane, so you can imagine the week leading up to our big day was chaotic & emotional. Cheryl-Anne & Katie not only coordinated all last minute details, but day of they handled all the curveballs thrown their way. I wasn’t even aware we lost power – they literally handled everything and made sure Preston & I had the best day.
It’s really important to find a wedding planner/coordinator that respects your budget, sees your vision, and truly cares about you & your partners day. That’s what you’ll find with Kast Events.

when you select Kast Events is trust. Due to her excellent communication throughout the process, I trusted her and her team to pull it off and I wish you would trust my recommendation because you will be thankful you did. They did it all and then some. If you are realistic, you understand that something is bound to go wrong on the big day. I was prepared. But it never happened. The day was beyond perfect. I had one thing about the musician that I wasn't happy with but talking to him was going to make me feel uncomfortable. I just barely mentioned it to Cheryl-Anne and it was handled immediately! She and her team not only made my daughter feel like a queen by meeting her every need but they were regularly checking up on me making sure I had eaten and drunk something. Anything we needed throughout the day while getting ready was supplied - their goal was to make our day perfect and they certainly succeeded. So happy I have another daughter so I can use Kast Events again!!

k any stress or anxiety I had of planning away. She's extremely organized throughout the planning process and takes the time to learn about you and your partner and listen to what is important for your big day, while also sharing unique and creative ideas that we didn't think of. our vendor and timeline details a month before the wedding. This was such a tremendous help as usually the month leading up to a wedding can be stressful and overwhelming. Cheryl-Anne coordinated all of our wedding details with our vendors and made sure our wedding day was executed exactly to the timeline. Cheryl-Anne and her team also made our wedding decoration vision come to life. We were able to give her all of our decorations, and the team was able to set everything up exactly how we wanted (and for some, better than what we could've asked for!). We are so grateful to Cheryl-Anne and her team for their expertise and guidance for our wedding day! We could not have had such a beautiful day without Kast Events!

The Kast and Co team, from start to finish, were a pleasure to work with, extremely professional, and knowledgable. Their personal attention went is second to none. One such instance amongst many, was on the day before our wedding, there was a massive downpour at our outdoor venue. Cheryl-Anne worked from sun-up to sun-down to drain the tent and grounds of the rainwater. They truly went above and beyond and we cannot recommend them highly enough.

nce we live out of the area, we engaged Kast Events for full service wedding planning almost a year before our wedding date and we are so glad we did! In the months leading up to the wedding, Cheryl-Anne and Justine helped coordinate meetings with vendors and made every decision so easy. They were wonderful to work with the entire time, but Kast Events went above and beyond the two weeks leading up to our wedding and, especially, the wedding weekend. You won't regret working with Kast Events!

d to Iraq and I was in a very demanding position. I wanted to be put all my efforts into our wedding but knew work would get in the way. We discussed it and decided to go forth with searching for someone to help. If you are confused on who to choose to be on this journey with you. STOP RIGHT THERE. CHOOSE CHERYL-ANNE AND HER OTHER HALF, JUSTINE. These two women are/were my fairy godmothers. I gave my ideas and the vendors and they made my vision come to life. I was so overwhelmed once I saw everything we planned together before my eyes. Cheryl-Anne thought of EVERYTHING. From the first design meeting until our grand exit, perfection. Our family and friends could not stop talking about our day into the following week. The relationships they have with vendors is incredible and was seen throughout our day because of how seamless everything moved. The stress you think you will have the day of, was nowhere to be found because of them. I could not have asked for better women to be on our side. I love them so much and cannot wait to see what else they have planned for other couples in their future.

ily thing? Is she just trying to give her sister-in-law business? Cheryl-Anne is the Michael Jordan of wedding planners. As much as I love love love Rose Hill Plantation if it came down to picking our venue and not having Cheryl-Anne, I would pick Cheryl-Anne. She basically took what little vision I had for our wedding day and turned it into the most magical night of our lives. She was organized and on top of every single situation. I felt like I could be open with her and always give my input. She always made us feel like we were top priority. I would forget she had other clients until I saw her post on her social media. I can honestly say that booking with Kast Events was the best decision that we made. We will miss you Cheryl-Anne!

o incredibly. I was more laid back about making decisions which was probably for the best - I went with basically everything they suggested and my wedding day was a literal fairy tale come to life. I gave them some basic color schemes/ideas and it's like they took the picture right out of my mind and created something amazing. I never dreamed that the day would be so perfect and it is all thanks to Kast Events. They worked so incredibly hard so that I didn't have to.
Cheryl-Anne also did my florals - I was speechless when I saw how beautiful they were and the guests could not stop talking about them.
I cannot recommend Kast Events enough - whatever is is that you are looking for I promise you will not be disappointed!!!!

And they made it fun for us every step of the way. As I reflect on all the various things I spent money on with my daughter's wedding, there is NO better investment we made than hiring Kast Events. And the icing on the cake is that Cheryl-Anne is also a floral designer so she did all of our flowers and decor, and guests have literally told me it was the prettiest wedding they've ever seen. -Anne’s office after our first meeting. It was immediately apparent that she wasn’t just a wedding planner, but also our dear friend. By the end of the planning experience, Cheryl-Anne was even more than that… She was family. Throughout the entire process she was there for us every step of the way. From handling complicated family logistics to intuitively solving theoretical conflicts before they even arose, she was our rock and we wouldn’t have gotten through the experience without her. In addition to her organizational awareness and emotional intelligence, she was also our greatest champion. She understood our vision for the wedding from the very beginning and could speak in our stead to every single vendor, greatly reducing our stress levels. Her suggested ideas were always fantastic and perfectly aligned with our dreams for the wedding day. Simply put, she added magic into every aspect of the experience, culminating into one of the single greatest days of our lives. It wouldn’t have happened without her and for that we will always be eternally grateful.

ST Wedding Event Planner in the Triangle area! There are not enough words to express our gratitude for creating a memory that our hearts will cherish forever. Cheryl-Anne was attentive, very responsive, and totally exceeded our vision. Her passion, genuine, and sweet spirit are remarkable and will make any bride feel secure. Logistically, she coordinated and managed our wedding events, including rehearsal at three different venues (21c, Duke Gardens, & The Umstead Hotel & Spa) with ease! Surprisingly, she even made sure a party of 17 stayed on schedule! Her vendor recommendations are by far 4.5+ and we couldn't have been happier with the team of professionals that we worked with from floral design, stationary, decor, cake, to transportation vendors! I don't know what we would of done without Cheryl-Anne and her team! She certainly made every moment of wedding planning such a great experience for us! Five days after our wedding and we're still talking about how grand of an event it was. We certainly consider her a friend!

We were planning our wedding from 3,000+ miles away, but she kept us in the loop every step of the way and made everything seem so simple. She was very open to listening to all of our requests and finding ways to make everything we wanted work. She's very responsive and enthusiastic, and has an incredible eye. She also designed all of our floral arrangements herself, and they looked absolutely stunning. I couldn't recommend her enough, and we count ourselves lucky for getting to work with her. Thanks again for everything, Cheryl-Anne!

pril wedding. From the very start, Cheryl-Anne was incredibly organized, detail-oriented, creative, and full of ideas about how to make the wedding of our dreams fit into our budget. I never felt like she was just my “day-of” planner as we were in contact so often before the big day. She had so many wonderful suggestions for design and vendors, and ended up doing our flowers as well which were absolutely stunning. My fiance (now husband) was hilariously skeptical about hiring a planner, but by the end of the whole process he couldn't stop talking about how incredible Cheryl-Anne (and her awesome team!!) was in creating the best day of our lives. On the day of the wedding, we had a little transportation snafu and the Kast Events team handled it so seamlessly that I didn’t even have time to be stressed. I don’t think there is a more thoughtful, kind, and flexible wedding planning team out there!! We are eternally grateful for all of the hard work, creativity, and precision with which our wedding was executed :) Oh yeah, and Cheryl-Anne had a baby 2 weeks before our wedding day, which should tell you how dedicated and all-around AMAZING she is. So easy to work with, so experienced, so talented. Thank you so much!! :)

When I had budget concerns, she helped me choose a few areas where we could scale back without losing the overall effect. She thought of details I wouldn't have thought of and was on top of every aspect of the rehearsal, wedding, and reception. On the day of the wedding, everything went like clockwork and it was quite simply a perfect event. Cheryl-Anne had a baby a month prior to my wedding and still never missed a beat. She was attentive, professional, and responsive. In a word...wonderful!
I could not give enough high praise of Cheryl-Anne of Kast Events! We hired Cheryl-Anne as our day of coordinator and she was committed from day one, not just on the day itself bu...
t well ahead of that. We had to deal with a cross-state move while we were planning our wedding and Cheryl-Anne put us at ease during the whole process with how kind, responsive, and generally on-point she was. We were so pleased and appreciative of her sincere commitment to having our day be perfect. From the beginning, Cheryl-Anne was warm, poised, and put me at ease like an old friend. Add to that her professionalism, talent for thinking outside of the box, helpfulness in bouncing ideas off/with, and confidence in how to get things done in a timely fashion and you have the best wedding coordinator on this planet! She TRULY has a natural knack and talent for it. My husband and I had a slightly more complicated "blended ceremony" and Cheryl-Anne handled it like a champ. She listened extremely well and clarified anything she needed to understand more fully so she could execute flawlessly. I should also add that Cheryl-Anne and her wonderful second-in-command, Allison literally saved our outdoor wedding from disaster over the Hurricane Matthew weekend. They went above and beyond in helping us assess how to handle logistics both the day prior (rehearsal) and the wedding day's events smoothly. Their compassion for keeping us and our guests safe was noticed by all. Cheryl-Anne, you truly were a hero to our family on our wedding day! We are SO grateful!!
I can't say enough wonderful things about Cheryl-Anne! She made our wedding run seamlessly. We hired her as our day of planner, though she was helpful and wonderful months in advan...
ce. Everything was beautiful and the stress was kept to a minimum thanks to her hard work. We had Kast Events do our flowers as well, and they were absolutely stunning. They truly made all of my dreams come true. I would recommend Kast Events a millions times over!!
Cheryl-Anne is AMAZING! Having her as our wedding planner was the best decision we made throughout the planning process. She always responded promptly, if not immediately, to our e...
mails and recommended a great team of local vendors that helped make our day perfect. After communicating with her on almost a daily basis, I truly miss working with her now that our wedding is over. This year, Kast Events was voted Best of Chapel Hill Magazine Awards for Event Planning and I could not agree more. Cheryl-Anne is so talented and somehow manages to do it all. On top of planning, we also had her do our flowers. All of the details she implemented were so beautiful and accented our venue so well. Among the many events she had planned for this October, she made us feel like we were her priority and never a bother. If you are considering whether or not to use a wedding planner, I am here to tell you that Cheryl-Anne is absolutely worth it. Because of her, our wedding day was more perfect than we could have ever imagined.
We had a wonderful experience working with Cheryl -Anne. She is such a professional and has wonderful taste. Her help with the wedding and rehearsal made the experience a pleasure ...
for us. She is a real detail person and took away so much stress by making sure nothing was forgotten. We miss working with her!
