Hey, I'm Katherine—but you can call me Kat! You deserve a photographer who truly gets you—someone who not only captures the big moments but also the quiet, in-between ones that make your love story uniquely yours. As a hiking-loving, wedding-obsessed storytelling photographer, I specialize in capturing the real, unfiltered moments—the laughter, the happy tears, and the joy you never want to forget. My journey started in public relations and event planning, organizing festivals in my small town. But after planning my own wedding to my high-school sweetheart, I had an epiphany—my true calling was right in front of me. Combining my love for storytelling, genuine connections, and photography was the perfect fit. Five wedding seasons and over 75 weddings later, I’m still head-over-heels for what I do. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll probably find me thrifting for vintage treasures, spoiling my three cats and dog, gardening, or perfecting the art of film development with my husband. And just like my love for a good thrift find, I believe the best moments in life (and in photos) are the ones you don’t see coming—the spontaneous, joy-filled, perfectly imperfect memories.
